• Problem with deletion of snapshots

  I have a problem with deletion of snapshots for virtual machine running on ESXi 3.5. I had a problem with the lack of free space on the drive where VM is hosted. I managed to free up space and wanted to commit snapshots (delete) to free additional space. Unfortunately, at the time of the withdrawal of clichés that I ran out of space again on this store now I'm stuck with clichés present in the store but not visible in the Snapshot Manager.

  Any suggestions on how I can get rid of these pictures now? All I can think is move VM converter of this virtual machine to a new one.

  The reason that you ran out of space is the way a "Delete All" is handled.

  I guess in your case a 'Delete All' may temporarily need up to approximately 115 GB of additional disk space. Troubleshooting VM snapshot problems perfectly describes the process. Take a look at the animation in the "process behind 'Remove all' snapshots '.

  So what you can do is:

  -Free up enough space, create another cliché, and then do a "Delete All".

  -Cold clone or V2V the VM in another data store

  -Recreate the vmsd file based on the instantaneous channel from the header vmdk files and delete the snapshots one by one starting with the first (oldest) snapshot. If you want to try this make sure you fully understand other snapshots that it will end in the corruption of data!

  Due to the size and the possible impacts on the storage I recommend doing this during peak hours and with the virtual machine shut down.

  If you have a different available datastore (~ 300GB), I would recommend cloning. This does not affect the original files in case something goes wrong. If the clone works, you can safely remove the "old" VM and files and migrates the virtual computer is back to datastore original.

• problem with delete folder

  I had a folder with about 900 pictures (raw) I wanted to get rid of, so I did a delete file operation.  Well, it took a lot of time (more than a half hour, I was not sitting at the computer all the time), then I left Lightroom and deleted the folder in the Finder.

  I noticed later that Lightroom was still working, but activity Watch monitor he does not.  The next time I have started, he told me that he had set catalogs (probably), but after he did this, the folder appears always, only with an? real finder icon because the version is missing.

  So I tried to remove it again, and the same thing happens (process of deleting very long, then LR crashes on exit).  How can I get rid of this folder?

  I am running LR4.1 on MacOS 10.8.

  Synchronize files

  When you synchronize folders, you have the option of adding files that have been added to the folder but not imported in the catalog, removing files that have been deleted and searching for updated metadata. The photo in the folder and all its subfolders files can be synchronized. You can determine which folders, subfolders and files are imported.

  1. In the files Panel, select the folder you want to synchronize.
  2. Choose library > synchronize folder.
  3. In the dialog box sync folder, do one of the following:
     • To import photos that appear in the folders but have not been imported into the catalog, select import new Photos. If you select Show Import dialogue before import, you can specify which folders and photos are imported.
     • To remove the pictures that have been deleted from the folder but not in the catalog, select Remove missing Photos from the catalogue. If this option is grayed out, none of the files are missing. (You can choose to show missing Photos to show the photos in the grid view).
     • To search for changes to metadata made to the files in another application, choose Scan for metadata updates.
  4. Click on synchronize.
  5. If the import the Pictures dialog box opens, specify the folders and files you want to import, and then click Import.

• Problem with deleting emails

  My mailbox is getting overloaded with email and I'm unable to remove number of emails...

  Appears when I try to delete some of my old emails, the system does not respond and deos not delete files.  I tried everything to remove some of these emails without success... I also tried to delete the mu, but it does not work...

  Any suggestions?

  Assuming you are using Outlook Express...

  Spend most of your messages out of the Inbox, if you can and move the messages you want to record off deleted items, and sent items. Locate the OE message store and then close OE.

  Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.

  In Windows XP, Win2K & Win2K3 the OE user files (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder Options icon | Opinion, or in Windows Explorer. Tools | Folder options | View.

  With OE closed, find the Deleted Items.dbx and Sent Items.dbx files and delete them. New files will be created automatically when you open OE.

  Compact all folders as described below.

  To avoid this in the future:

  Do not archive mail in the receipt or sent items box. Create your own user-defined folders and move messages you want to put in them. Empty the deleted items folder daily. Although the dbx files have a theoretical capacity of 2 GB, I recommend all a 300 MB max for less risk of corruption.

  After you're done, followed by compacting your folders manually while working * off * and do it often.

  Click Outlook Express at the top of the the folder tree so no folders are open. Then: File | Work offline (or double-click on work online in the status bar). File | Folder | Compact all folders. Don't touch anything until the compacting is completed.

  Disable analysis in your e-mail anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer of protection that devours the processors and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs and account setting changes. • Problem with deleted game

  I have recently uninstalled a game from my PC through Control Panel control/uninstall. But my problem starts when I finished tne uninstall. In folder where was a game that I uninstalled another game that has been deleted with the uninstallation of the first game, because the system has deleted all the folders and subfolders. Now, when I run the instalation of a game I acidentally removed with the uninstalaltion of the first part it is said: the game is already instaled. You want to start the uninstall? When I click Yes, nothing happens... A system can not install a game because it was not properly uninstalled and it "thinks" it is installed on my machine and cannot uninstall because the game egsists not really starts. I run Windows 7.

• Problem with Delete Subproperty

  I wanted to delete a global container of Station with stored results init.

  The expression I used is

  StationGlobals.StoredResults.DeleteSubProperty (Parameters.Step.Name, 0x400000)

  Parameter.Step.Name is my search string. and in the Option property tried to use 0 x 400000 substitute variable Notdeletable.

  Problem here is that it works for the execution of a few as there is no problem in removing the Subproperty for 4 or 5 times. After that it only removes subproperty.

  And the same problem, I did not see in OperatorMode. This problem only occurs in the sequence editor. I use TestStand Ver4.2.1.

  Is there no work around for this or any other option to forcefully remove the subproperty.

  He had some problems with the file you attached. I made a few changes that seems to make it work the way you want and simplify things. I added comments to help explain changes in the file. Please let me know if you have any questions about the changes. I was unable to reproduce the error you posted, but I think that these changes could solve the problem, because one of the issues that I fixed in question is not cloning the property you obtained using GetPropertyObject before setting another property that has as it's the suproperty (property can have one of their parents If you need to make a copy and store the copy not the original). Also, make sure your Locals.StepResult is a variable of object reference as I have in the file attached sequence rather than a container.

  I also created a version of the file, SequenceFilePostResultListEntry2.seq, that uses an array of containers to store the results instead of the subproperties, allowing the stage names to be anything, including having spaces and '.' characters.

  You can use DHCP or an IP fixed, but you will need to set the DNS.

  Disable the IPv6 setting on the printer.

  Go to the printer settings.

  Configuration of the network.

  Network services.

  IPv6.

  Turn the power off.

  These steps should help with scanning to email.

  I have problems with executing a DELETE statement on an Oracle 10 g server.

  DELETE 
  FROM tableA
  WHERE ID in (1,2,3)
  

  If there is only a single ID for the IN clause, it works.  But if more than one ID is provided, I get an error message "SQL command" not correctly completed.  Here's the query as CF:

  FROM TRAINING
  WHERE userID = <cfqueryparam cfsqltype="CF_SQL_VARCHAR" value="#trim(form.userID)#">
       AND TRAINING_ID in <cfqueryparam value="#form.trainingIDs#" cfsqltype="CF_SQL_INTEGER" list="yes">
  

  Someone at - it works with Oracle that can help me with this?  I'm a developer experienced in MS - SQL; Oracle is new to me.

  I am trying to remove iTunes in my computer through my control panel, but its telling me that it cannot remove, because of unavailable network resources.  I accidentally deleted quicktime then this all started.  Before iTunes was working.  When I try to re-download the ITunes it says that you must delete old version first.  Please help me someone with a great idea?

  Step 1: Check if you are able to uninstall iTunes in the clean boot state.

  From your computer by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs so that you can determine if a background program is interfering with your game or program. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot".

• problem with deleting safely removable media

  whenever I'm trying to remove my USB drive I get this error:

  Close programs use this unit maybe and try again later.

  so I go to Task Manager and close all programs I can think can possible cause the error

  so I tried to close all programs, the list say except windows those needs to stay connected (were about 20 left) and tried again

  Microsoft can't make it so that it shows what programs are using the camera? or even better give an option to close the programs for you?

  It may be that your USB flash drive is still using some of the system files or it could be that there is little file that is transferred to your system. Restart the computer and check if the problem is solve. It may be that some of the files on your USB device are corrupted or infected with the Virus. I suggest you analyze your USB devices with security software and checking, just to make sure that there are no corrupt or infected files.

   

  Step 1:

  You must wipe the drive and reinstall OS X. In the future, you need to stay away from the data in the system until you know what it is and the consequences of the removal.

  Install or reinstall OS X from scratch

  Make sure that you have backed up your files because the following procedure will remove all of the hard drive.

  HD recovery start:

  Restart the computer after the ring, press in and hold the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen to appear.

  Erase the drive:

  1. select in the main menu disk utility and click on the continue button.

  2. once the charges of THE select your boot volume (usually Macintosh HD) in the

  list on the left. Click on the Erase tab in the main window of THE.

• Problems with deleted emails do not delete

  I have an iPhone 6, when I delete the mails from gmail and/or icloud times, the emails appear back in my Inbox. I sometimes have to remove emails for 2-3 times to finally remove.   Try resetting your e-mail account. First close your Mail application completely from the window of the selector app by double clicking the Home button and drag the email preview pane up until it disappears from the display. Then go to settings > Mail, Contacts, calendar > find your e-mail provider and click on the account. On the next page, delete the account. Then perform a forced reboot. Hold down the home and Sleep/Wake buttons simultaneously for about 15-20 seconds , until the Apple logo appears. Then go to settings > mail... and to add the account.

  The ntuser.dat files should not be deleted - it is where Windows stores the data of register etc.  These files are normally hidden, so it would be better to return to that State.  To do so, right click on each file in turn, select Properties, click the hidden check box, and then click on apply to save the change.
