  I just downloaded the files for the new site using Dreamweaver 8. From my browser, I can only pull the site using "www.domainname.com" but may not when you use "domainname.com" (page to GET the default host). My host (GoDaddy) tested on their end and said that the site is visible anyway. Why should I this problem in my browser... all advice is appreciated. Thank you!

  I am a student of digital media MY about to rehabilitate major work for the design of the internet, the part of my course. I sent my site to my tutor, and she wrote telling me there are major problems with the site, she sent me the following

  There are serious problems with your site.

  Two minimum criteria are missing.

  The first file should be called index.html, check on a mac, pc does not display extensions.

  The names of the html files cannot contain any space, capital letters and characters

  Your site must contain at least 4 sections or pages.

  The text is not readable.

  The content has not been sufficiently developed.

  Also, your file must contain only your index.html, your html pages, your images, your css and js script.

  Please change the names of files within dreamweaver in the files Panel.

  Ask a friend to read it and give you feedback.

  Most of what she has said here, I don't understand, I heard index.html which is the homepage, I don't have a mac so impossible to verify anything here. Don't know what she means "the text is not readable" I checked it on a different computer than the one I worked on and it was fine. The last piece is also confused me, she won't say there are other things in the folder that shouldn't be there? If there is someone who can help a little with the foregoing, I would be very grateful.

  See no difference, it comes out the same in Explorer, probably a version pb... but you should really try and use div instead of table and have your css in a separate file, it will be much simpler and to highlight the issues less browser

  I doubt that this VPN site-to-site is compatible with the USB modem broadband Mobile 3 G, but I have when even suggest to verify that the Status field of the map will show your mobile card is connected (status > Mobile network). I've seen a similar problem with a Verizon USB modem where the solution was to change a few settings in their access Manager software ("NDIS Mode - connect manually" has been selected and change this option to "Modem Mode - connect manually fixed), but if this is not your case then I suggest you to check with your service provider about supported VPN site to site on the WAN configuration.

• Major problem with Muse site works only in Internet Explorer

  The site loads very well in another browser, but doesn't load at all in Internet Explorer. I'm on a Mac and do not use IE but when I load the site in a browser test I get this error: "JavaScript Expection: error calling the function switch: error: invalid argument".

  IE is notoriously badly to deal with malformed hyperlinks. Other browsers ignore silently. IE shake its cookies and often after the hyperlink problem has been treated properly. I suspect therefore that there is an incorrect hyperlink on your page.

  In the 'Useful links' section, the hyperlink on 'FAQ' seems to be malformed. Try to remove that link and add a valid link, then re-publish/re-upload the site to test on IE. Which may, or may not, be the cause. But it's the first thing to try.

Retry. so now, I can't work on the pages.
