Problems with drive HARD Toshiba MK1234GSX
Hello
I have an Acer with a secondary HD TOSHIBA MK1234GSX 9920.
Since I installed Windows 7, I have problems with the HD.
Upon restart, the HD is considered as having problems with windows: when I look in device management, I have this message "Windows has stopped this device cause it has problems. (Code 43) »
I did a full scan (chkdsk), but no not found errors.
If I turn off the HD, reactivate and restart, sometimes I can access the HD which works perfectly.
Does anyone have an idea on this?
Thank you.PS: Sorry for my English :)
CHKDSK is not good to test a HARD drive for bad sectors, its only good when looking for errors of the filesystem (FAT32 or NTFS).
Test the hard drive to find errors using DFT.
DFT download: http://www.hitachigst.com/hdd/support/download.htm#DFTDownload the ISO file and burn it to a CD - R disc (there is also a version on disk if it's easier).
If you don't know how to burn an ISO file, read this guide: http://www.petri.co.il/how_to_write_iso_files_to_cd.htm
Restart your laptop and boot from the disc of DFT.
Choose the 'Advanced' test and let it run (it may take an hour or two).
If you see a message in red box, the HARD drive is faulty.
An error code 0 x 70 means there are bad sectors and the HARD drive needs to be replaced. -

Hello
I have problem with my satellite p100-221! A few days ago I had problems with my audio driver (audio conexant high definition), after starting it was indicates that the pilot of his failed to initialize, I reinstaleed this driver several times and at last it was working OK, but I noticed that windows does not see the battery.
The small cell in the status bar disappeared and I can not say for how long can I use laptop with battery. Laptop works as if it is connected to the AC. In the Device Manager appeared an exclamation on the battery composite microsoft.
I tried to renew the drivers but nothing. I deleted combatt.sys and cmbatt.sys in windows\system32\drivers but they appear again. I started in safe mode deleted, but after normal start, they do not appear. I also deleted them in Device Manager, and after start-up, this device did not and do not ask me to install the drivers.
What can I do?
Hello
I noticed that you did a lot of complex changes to your device. You deleted some files, update drivers, etc..
I guess that your operating system has been enough installed and worked properly.
Windows XP supports a system restore tool. This tool allows you to roll back the OS to the beginning.
In my opinion, you should try to use this option. Maybe he'll bring your laptop at the time where everything worked correctly. -

Problem with driver with Agilent 6031 A feeding
Hello and goodmorning,
I tried to develop my first application of cvi in which I need to use a power supply (model Agilent 6031 A). I first use direct command of GPIB and I managed to make it work, but with some difficulty, due to the fact that sometimes orders are missed.
So I downloaded the driver from the website of OR, and I tried to implement in my code. I found a problem with the first statement, the init it. Here is my code:
ViPSession InstrumentH;
...
...
...
All = hp6xxxa_init ("GPIB0::5:INSTR", VI_ON, VI_ON, 1, & InstrumentH);After running the above code, I found in 'All' value '-1073807339 "and InstrumentH is equal to NULL."
Any idea and advice would be much appreciated.
P. S.
There is a way, as in Labview, to find the explanation of the error Code?
Found the problem. Food must be set of SCPI commands on the old controls ARP using "SYST:LANG".

Problem with drive HARD and Vista install
Hi all
A few weeks ago, my Dell Inspiron laptop computer started to freeze. I could boot ok and my desktop wallpaper and icons were all there, but I couldn't run or open anything. I did the Bios tests and my Vista installation disc and told me there was a problem with my hard drive. I wiped it and tried to reinstall vista and that I could see it wasn't working because it took hours and then seems to have stopped again during installation. So I bought a new one and tried to install Vista. everything was going well until it is restarts a second time and I got a black screen with a mouse pointer icon. I had to reinstall it running for about 4 hours, at least an hour of that time which was all that was going on and the hard disk wasn't spinning.
How long on avg would take to install Vista, if it is running normally?
is there anything else that might be a problem that would not appear in the repair of Vista or Bios diagnostics?
Any advice would help a lot.
If the new hard drive does not work, then the problem is on the motherboard. Your description of symptoms indicates a power supply or motherboard failure. Contact Dell technical support for repair or replacement. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

Device base system &; coprocessor problem with driver Windows 7 - Pavilion dv9720us
I have a HP Pavilion dv9720us which was very glitch with Vista 32 bit. After saving all on an external hard drive from Seagate Replica, I did a clean install of Windows 7 64-bit. Everything seems to work, but I get error messages stating that the x 2 Base system device is not working because it doesn't have the correct driver, the coprocessor is also mentioned as not having not the correct driver. All 3 of these devices are listed in the other devices category in Device Manager. In addition, my laptop has 4 GB of RAM and still Windows 7 recognizes only 2 GB. Help! I deliberately enhanced to reduce the glitchy Vista answers. I could go on Windows 7 32 bit, but I don't know who's going to solve all my problems.
Thank you very much!
Kathy
Remove your Ram and install it again.
Notes:
1. ensure that, then you have no battery or ac adapter connected to your laptop.
2 Manufacter installed in this model 2048 MB of Ram (2 GB), so if you have not added 2 GB on your own all is ok.
There will always be problems and your really have 4 GB:
You check Ram with Memtest86 + or GoldMemory. Just burn it on CD *.iso file and run the test. You may need to change the boot sequence in the Bios (to get the BIOS press F10 boot).

My system often hangs during startup and whenever I have to search for solutions to windows problems and solutions it tells me that it is a driver problem. He told me to look in the event viewer and find the bucket from the fault to determine the device that is causing the problem. I went and found this:
fault bucket 0x50_nvlddmkm. CNvDispChannelDmaHal::pushCmdDat + 12, type 0
Does that mean something to someone? I tried a search on the forums and come up with no results. Would appreciate any help.

Problem with drive for a month, no VM from
I have the player from vmware for two years.
My system is windows 7 64 bit, latest updates installed.
But since two months, out of the blue, I can't start virtual machines.
I always get the well-known message "cannot connect to the authorization service", DURING its execution.
I reinstalled the player several times, even with UAC disabled, created another user account, run as administrator, disabled an anti virus, again, is not able to boot virtual machines more (create new results in a blackscreen as soon as it arrives at the start-up phase)...
Does anyone here know a solution except reinstalling the entire system, hoping to recover up to the race?
I am now at my limits in terms of knowledge...
I am posting this in the article pro workstation where the problem also occurs with the current installation of the workstation 12.
DIFFICULTY:
Uninstalled Kaspersky.
Repair the installation of VMware.
Restarted
Reinstalled Kaspersky (latest Version)
This problem seems to come from kaspersky himself.
Like other software also cannot open a socket more (access error), out of the blue, from one day to the other, I had a strong suspicion about Kaspersky.
The problem comes from a problematic network driver, which has been resolved by r: reinstall the driver around and B: also reinstall Kaspersky & repair VMware, so the hooks of both network driver work again. (Such as Kaspersky whitelists VMWare automatically)
Thanks for your patience with me.
