Problem with HD external Toshiba PX1267E - 1 32

Hi all.

I had an external hard drive Toshiba PX1267E - 1 32 for awhile now and its fantastic. I normally run on Windows XP, and recently, I started using Windows 7.

When I plug in the external hard drive in, the password box opens, I get the password, indicates the password has been entered successfully, and I click ok.

The HD is supposed to rev and load the data as another drive partition so that I can access the data stored on the hard drive of course, but this isn't the case on Windows 7. Nothing happens after I have well validate my password.

I also tried removing my restriction password, but all that load is the password of the external HD partition. I am running in administrator mode, but nothing helped.

Can someone please tell me how to load to the top of my "data" of the partition HD external Toshiba PX1267E - 1 32.

Thank you much in advance,

Hello

I'm not quite sure if it will work, but you can try to access the m windows * disk management * and can check if the HARD drive or partition could be formatted.

Perhaps then the HARD drive would be recognized in my computer (Explorer) and you can access the HARD disk.

Select this check box.

  • Problem with uninstalling the Toshiba Bluetooth Stack for Windows

Guys, I have a problem with uninstalling the Toshiba Bluetooth Stack for Windows v4.00.22 on my laptop Windows XP SP2. Whenever I choose to remove the "battery Bluetooth for Windows by Toshiba" (or "Bluetooth HID Switch Service") the installation program starts to prepare, but crashes after a few minutes - the only way to continue is to turn off the laptop.

The same thing happens when I try to update the stack to the latest version - the installer says that the old battery has to be removed first and crashes after trying to remove it. So is it possible to remove it by hand? I really don't want to reinstall Windows!

I don't have a copy of the original Software v4.00.22 to recharge so if you have a copy or know where I can get a copy I would gratefully

    Thanks in advance.

I would try to delete the folder: "C:\Program Files Toshiba Stack.
Registry settings will remain, but should be repaired after a new installation of the Bluetooth stack.

It seems to be a problem with the corruption of the .net framework. I suggest trying to repair the .net framework on the computer and see if you can install the updates.

    Hello

We faced a problem. We have installed a software and drivers of Toshiba g450 on different laptops to use it as a modem for a mobile phone network. • Problems with drive HARD Toshiba MK1234GSX

    Hello

I have an Acer with a secondary HD TOSHIBA MK1234GSX 9920.
Since I installed Windows 7, I have problems with the HD.
Upon restart, the HD is considered as having problems with windows: when I look in device management, I have this message "Windows has stopped this device cause it has problems. (Code 43) »
I did a full scan (chkdsk), but no not found errors.
If I turn off the HD, reactivate and restart, sometimes I can access the HD which works perfectly.
Does anyone have an idea on this?
    Thank you.

PS: Sorry for my English :)

CHKDSK is not good to test a HARD drive for bad sectors, its only good when looking for errors of the filesystem (FAT32 or NTFS).

Test the hard drive to find errors using DFT.
    DFT download: http://www.hitachigst.com/hdd/support/download.htm#DFT

Download the ISO file and burn it to a CD - R disc (there is also a version on disk if it's easier).
If you don't know how to burn an ISO file, read this guide: http://www.petri.co.il/how_to_write_iso_files_to_cd.htm
Restart your laptop and boot from the disc of DFT.
Choose the 'Advanced' test and let it run (it may take an hour or two).
If you see a message in red box, the HARD drive is faulty.
An error code 0 x 70 means there are bad sectors and the HARD drive needs to be replaced.

  • Problems with WiFi from Toshiba and their lack of support - you're not alone

For those of you out there problems with WiFi on a Toshiba laptop, you're certainly not alone.

Over the past years, I have noticed a growing number of different brands and models of computers laptop toshiba and laptops with the same problem.
Last year, 100% of the toshibas that came in my workshop have had this problem, it is about 75% of the laptops that I fixed.

These models have all hardware wifi (Agere, Intel and Realtek)

The wifi switch is on, on the same computer, some programs to detect as being market, others see it as extinct.
What, it doesn't connect to a same wireless router when used to.

Responses of toshiba were the usual non-professional form response from: it must be the router, try to flip the switch, you have updated the bios?, update the drivers et al.

It is a software problem, and given the number of people on this forum talking about the same issue, it's a great.

Often, I came across the issue of windows for communication services wireless disabled by software of Toshiba and I believe, that it is a conflict between tosh software and various other (zone alarm, windows and al.)

In some cases, the software seems to intervene and to corrupt the OS from windows drivers and interfere with their implementation and enforcement, which is worrying, the software doesn't have to touch all areas. (if not, what is the point of a BONE in layers)

I sometimes managed to force to work (for example manually restart the services), but these solutions are not a "clean way" of doing things.

The most reliable way to solve this problem seems to be, backup your data and reformat back to the manufacturer's specifications, and then immediately uninstall the software from toshiba and update the drivers terribly old (even those on the site are about one year more up-to-date for the model I'm working currently on.) Unfortunately most of my clients is companies that need a LOT of data stored in different saved locations, then a ton of programs specialized to be reinstalled, which is slow and costly.

    Message from TOSHIBA:
Please make it a sticky in this forum for all the REAL solutions, not one of the threads that I watched with your suggestions has been resolved.

If there is little no support for your products in this regard, I will contact the ACCC, choices, and associations of trade fair with an open letter that I ask all customers affected to sign, and I will put a national call for people with the same problem to come forward.

I would like to ask also if you encounter a problem where your wifi stopped working and it does not detect or work, please just post "bump" under here so that we can keep way reasonably clutter free.

I used to recommend Toshiba and Asus for laptops, now, this list is one.

Greetings from the Australia (aus site sent me here for the forums)

You can do what you want but as mentioned above; WiFi problems are not specific to a laptop manufactures, you'll notice WLan issues on computers (laptops, desktops computers) all manufactured products.
I had 4 different books of four various manufacturers and ALL had problems of WiFi, but most problems could be solved by the driver update, change, or reset of the router are.

  • Problem with subtitles on Toshiba 40VL748

    Hello
I experienced some problems with subtitles. When I'm with DLNA subtitles appear not at all. Same subtitles for the same film display correctly when the file is run from a USB key.

Someone managed to run subtitles using DLNA? And another question - why subtitles are so small?
Is it possible to increase the font size?
If this isn't the case it is possible to change it in the next update of the software?

    Hey,.

I was found no more information on the subtitles in the TV manual. I put t think there is an option to increase the size of the font. Probably he also according to the name of the file.
Have you tested different files with different names?

What you can do is trying new TV software as indicated in your user manual and reset the TV by default. Maybe it helps :)

  • Problems with the new Toshiba Dynadock V10

    Hello

First of all, sorry for my bad English :)

I buy the toshiba dynadock v10 to connect all my external devices to my laptop DELL inspiron, via a single USB cable.

All devices (mouse, keyboard, ethernet, external hard drive) work well, except the samsung TFT (connected via DVI - I to VGA), which after some time of work, to freeze and I have to use the laptop monitor instead.

This TFT works OK when disconected from the dynadock, and I try all the USB ports on my laptop, but the problem continued.

I ve instaled the new version 5.3 of the DisplayLink software, but the problem is still in force.

I ve position in the DisplayLink Forum on this issue, with a debugging log file, and the answer was:
+ Thanks for the newspapers. They show: +.

    + 01:04:22.440 DeviceWindow:USB_0117_002780 DeviceRaw USB_0117_002780 WARN DeviceRaw.cpp:133 Connect USB_0117-002780 failed: failed USB transmission +.

+ Means that there is a problem of communication on the USB and software is loss of connection with the dock. My guess is that there is somewhere a hardware fault in the connection of the USB cradle to the computer. I'm sure that this is not a software problem. +

You have reported similar problems? Is there something I m doing wrong?

    Thank´s

    Hello

I'm not very well what's going wrong here, but this might not be a problem of dynadock m
It seems that your Dynadock loses the connection with you laptop.
Have you tested this Dynadock with other computers if it would happen too?

However, on the European driver Toshiba page, you will find the latest software for Dynadock V10.

You choose in the form download this:
    Options-> connectivity-> Docs & ports-> Dynadock V10 replicators

Right now, I could find the v2.5.0.4 software

I guess this isn't taken in charge by using DLNA

  • Problems with firmware of Toshiba TL 838 - Youtube and Toshiba Places does not work

    Hey,.

    I have a TL838 TV with:

    -6.4.0V 1 firmware
    -Mboot version 00518740
    -MFC version 244930

About 1 month ago youtube stopped working.
A few days ago, Toshiba places stopped working again.
The TV is connected to the Internet and connection test is also passed.

I tried switching country and language in the settings but it does not help.
I also tried to change the DNS settings. Nothing.

    Does anyone have an idea?
I found a firmware named TL838_v6.4.1T.1 on the internet.

    Should I try?

Toshiba Places is service may not work for server problems.
This has nothing to do with the settings of the TV or the firmware.
In the event of server maintenance services Toshiba will be not accessible and available for a short period.

With regard to the issue of YouTube:
I think that the TV used the service Youtube XL.
But google Google stops support for YouTube XL to June 9, 2013
Instead of Google Youtube XL, you can try to use the link youtube.com/tv to enjoy Youtube on the TV.
In addition, you can use the YouTube Leanback Lite: http://www.youtube.com/leanbacklite

Here, in this thread, you can find the details mode:
