Problem with mask

I am currently changing a video of a piece in which the cast fell fake snow that expectations for the public but, unfortunately, is not visible to the camera. I added the snow with Blaster Cannon particle Playground that looks great, but it shouldn't fall on the heads of the public! I added a mask to the layer of snow but hide from the snow. I don't understand why not. I tried to leave the condition to 'Add' and canvas to mattress ' reverse box and leaving blank the box 'reversed' and change the status of subtract; but the snow is still visible inside the mask. Anyone know what I am doing wrong? I used front masks with no problems... help! BTW I use CS5 on Win 7.

Kind regards

Your screenshot has been reduced in size so much that I can't read anything on this computer, but I'll give it a shot. I think that you not moved to the snow effect in the demo. If you reveal the control panel of the effects that you still see Particle World?

Here's what I'd do.

  1. Duplicate videos
  2. Add a solid black above the first sheet of the sequence
  3. Change the blending mode of the solid black on the screen
  4. Draw and optionally to animate the mask so that it follows the movement of the audience
  5. Define solid black as a track matte for the first sheet of the sequence
  6. Add a new solid to the comp and put it just on top of substantive public images
  7. Apply to your effect of snow to this sequence.

Now you have a layer of the audience on a layer of effect of snow on the original film. Experiment with blend modes for the layer of snow and you should be done.

Hi, this could be an old bug, we see a problem with AIR 15 and 16 on only this phone HTC Android (4.2.2) newish special. Our app uses GPU renderMode. The problem occurs if you have a MovieClip that is hidden with children who have children who are also hidden, so only the first hidden child renders. • Problem with mask effect Gaussian blur

Greetings! I've seen discussions where people had various problems with the following mask in Premiere Pro CC, but I had not seen this issue discussed, so I hope it's just a user error.

I have a video where I need to blur the faces of several people in it.

    1. I applied Gaussian blur effect to the clip and used the tool free draw draw around A person's head.
    2. I have enabled the button animation next to the mask path label and then played the clip for some time.
    3. Then when his head would move out of the effect mask that I created, I would pause, add a keyframe and click and drag in the middle of the blue mask, that I had done in the program monitor, dragging on his head.

Everything was fine. I did this several times.

Then finally I suspended and made a keyframe, and suddenly the blue lines for the mask disappeared! You could still see the effect, but I could capture the effect is more and adjust it.

Anyone has an idea why the blue lines for the mask suddenly stop appearing in the program monitor? This has happened several times, and I can't understand what the problem is. Thank you!

Furthermore, I had already tried the mask tracking tool and he was not coherent enough, that's why I'm doing it manually.

Select the mask in the Panel for the outline to show effect Options.

  • Problem with masks at sending back of Speedgrade first (CC)

    Hello

I'm color ranking a clip in SpeedGrade CC using the new direct link function. For calibration of the colors I used masks and also the different layers. Once I'm done, I sent my sequence back to first Pro CC.

I see, first shows me exactly the color correction, I did in SpeedGrade, except for one thing:
The places where I used the masks in SpeedGrade to illuminate their for example a little until now are filled with lines pixeled...
I thought it's just a problem with the preview, so I exported it. Slept pixeled lines.

Once again: in SpeedGrade is all fine, but when I send the return sequence to the first there are those pixels.

It's really irritating because one day before it worked fine with no problems and I was virtually the same as now.

Please help me if you can! Thank you!

I even posted in the Premiere Pro forum and got a good answer:

  • problems with masking and color CC2014 - no CC - see screenshots!

Does anyone know this problem? In recent weeks, masking and using colors in CC2014 seems to work although more. When 100% of mask the masked layer is always displayed. When I use a color (with the pen or mouse) PSD slightly changes the color.  I am attaching two prints to show you what I mean. Did the same in PSD CC and there is no problem at all.

    psdCC2014Mask.pngpsdCC2014Colour.png

Sound your layer mask.  This is not completely its not completely masking the area.  The black area is not 100% black his only reduce the transparency of the atea sahpe filling.  Just turn off the visibility of the cyan shape layer you will see that it has nothing to do with that layer and its surly white not the projection of bottom layer.   I use a setting of levels on your layer mask to darken the dark. Look at the result.

  • Problems with masking the LUNS on ESXi 4.1

    Hello

Im trying to delete a data from a cluster of ESXi 4.1 store but I need to keep the information on here. I read the correct way to proceed is to use LUN masking and delete the data from the end of the storage store.

When I try to create the rule of the claim using the following command:

    esxcli corestorage claimrule add - rule 192 - location - A vmhba37-C t 0 t 0 L - 1 - P MASK_PATH

    I get the following error:

This happens on both hosts that I need to remove the data store of.

Anyone know how I can add the claimrule with success?

    Thank you

    Try using this: esxcli corestorage claimrule add -rule 192 t - slot - a vmhba37 - C 0 t 0, L - 1 Pei MASK_PATH

  • Problem with masking/layer order

Hi everyone! I followed the tutorial of effect bubble random animation found here: http://the-dude.co.uk/tutorials/flash-tutorial-on-creating-random-animated-bubbles-as2/ and the effect itself is exactly what I need. However, the bubbles appear on top of all the rest of my animation film (other graphics, text, etc.), and I need them to appear in the background only.  Even if I change the order of layers or create a mask, the bubbles appear ALWAYS above everything. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Add an empty movieclip to your lowest layer.  give it an instance name, for example bubbleParent.

Then, when you add bubbles, use:

bubbleParent.attachMovie (...);  If you use attachMovie

    or

bubbleParent.createEmptyMovieClip (.);  If you use createEmptyMovieClip

  • Problem with masking of number plates

I photograph cars each week in local cars and coffee events and post them on several Internet sites.  Out of politeness, I always hide the registration plates.  I use Adobe Lightroom 4.4 to my editing.  To the point, I use the adjustment brush to paint on the plate numbers.  My photos are in RAW format.

    I have two questions:

The week last 1.), inadvertently, I changed something in my editing, and now the adjustment brush is much less opaque, it takes at least 4 passes to obscure the plates.  How can I make the adjustment more opaque brush?

2.) is there a better/more effective to hide these plates?  Of course, it seems that there should be.  In the best of circumstances, there always took two passes to hide the plates completely.

    Thanks for your suggestions!

    -Bob Collum

Check that the brush Flow and density controls are both set to 100.

Take a look at the beta of the LR5 Spot removal tool. It can now be used as a brush. You could simply clone or heal an area of similar color of the body by spraying on the license plate using a small spot size.

  • problem with dynamic mask.

I have a video with green screen. I removed the green part of the video. in this way, I have people in the video without background,

I want to get this effect: Morgan - after - YouTube 01:02 I want to insert a video or an image on top of the population with green screen, but this new video should stay only on the people and it should not cover the bottom.

I get this with a simple mask for 1FPS, but the people themselves moves and I can change the mask of each image.

I am looking for an effect that create a dynamic mask or a way of excluding the background in the new video.

Sorry for my English, but explained a problem with sequels in a another language is very difficult.

I hope that everyone knows the effects or a video tutorial

I'm sorry, but I can't see the video in the USA.  However, I think I know what you want to do.  You want the Green people shielded to become invisible.  In their shapes, you want to put the new video.

It's easy.  Add the video you want to fill the hole of people-shped on your comp.  On the top layer, add the green screen of people.  Now go to the bottom layer and use the layer screen green people as an Alpha inverted Matte.  You will see your video of replacement in a hole in the form of people.

    Hi dtain,

Can you please try reset tool.

To reset a tool, you must first have the selected tool. Then Ctrl-click (Windows users: right click) the button tool preset in the Tool Options bar.

When you click this button, you will see a small menu and you can select Tool Reset to reset the current tool to its default value or reset all tools to deliver all the tools to its default value. Once selected, the tool will act as the first time you have used it.

Using this simple method to reset your tool with a single click, you can quickly remedy any situation where the tool does not correctly and to maintain the flow of creativity going.

  • Problems with creating an image mask!

I have problems with the creation of an image mask. I tried jpg and psd as alpha channel (black and white), but it seems that there is a bug. I also tried a mask "trace" (or whatever it is called in English - I use the German version) but it doesn't work either. Someone has any idea how to solve this problem? Thanks in advance

You can use JPEG, just set it to Luma Matte. Make sure the mask is white pure for a clean mat.

If its black set the market back.

  • Problem with the scale/resize the masks

    Win 7 64 bit, CS5.1

This question relates to the updated scale/resize the layers with masks. I have a layer with a mask that only shows part of the image, so the majority of the mask is black. However, when I resize the layer (with linked mask), Photoshop changes the mask so that areas once black become white, except for the area around the part that has been hidden behind.

Below are screenshots of the before - after a sample mask.

    Before:

    mask-before.jpg

    After:

    mask-after.jpg

This example shows what happens to the mask using the Image > Image size of dialogue, which I would have assumed would fully respect the layout of the mask, but does not work. I also have the same problem when you use the transform tools. I also tried to change the permission of foreground/background colors to resize, just to see if it has auto-fill of the mask with white, but I saw no effect by changing or reversing the values.

I am hoping there is a single place or a preference to prevent this behavior and respect for implementing page-fill masks when resizing. I appreciate any assistance.

This is probably the reason why your seeing this behavior.

If you add a layer mask > hide all, or invert the layer mask if you are using a layer mask > show all (even just by clicking on the button layer mask), just use Ctrl > I (Image > adjustments > invert) to reverse the layer mask.

So you probably won't see this issue.
