  • drive encryption BitLocker could not recover abruptly ended conversation

Hello world... I have an external drive that I had locked with the bitlocker and if she had it for about a year now... and something happened to her, I guess when he was to encrypt the drive there where once it's plugged in it asking to be unlocked and then once unlocked it looks to as 96.2% completed , but has encountered a problem and could not finish the encryption... I was still able to use player for all this time... it looked like not much because after closing this window I could still use this drive with no problems.  Now I just plugged the drive and I typed the password and it gives me an error saying... "bitlocker drive encryption do not recover abruptly ended conversation. This could be due to all the newspapers of conversation being corrupt or media is write-protected. "and now I can't unlock the drive, and it really saddens me because I have a bunch of movies and software and pictures of my family and my children, but also many other things that mean a lot to me and it was my only backup of these elements. How can I fix this so that I can go back to this player and power use for one and also so that I can back stuff up to another drive so that I may be losing once again! Thank you! Any help will be much appreciated

  • BitLocker could not be activated (with or without TPM)

    Hello
I am evaluating the RTM of Windows 8 Enterprise of 90 days and you want to activate the full disk encryption. Unfortunately, Windows won't let me. I have a Dell D630 with integrated TPM v1.2 chip. At the start of the verification of the system (just before the start of the encryption process), I get the following error message:

    BitLocker could not be activated

The Bitlocker encryption key could not be obtained. Ensure that the TPM Module (TPM) is on and ownership has been taken. If this computer doesn't have a TPM, check that the USB is inserted and available.
    C: is not encrypted.

I had a peek in tpm.msc and status displays "the TPM module is ready for use. While searching for a solution in the web, I met several tpm.msc screenshots where the State had "TPM is ready for use and rights of ownership of the TPM secure was taken." Well this is rather well the error in the first place.
TechNet has even distinguish the online instructions on taking possession of your TPM. Apparently, I need to initialize TPM according to the instructions. The problem is, I don't even have an option to boot available in the action menu on the right of tpm.msc.
Well - I thought - if TPM behaves badly then just turn off and follow these Technet instructions on how to enable Bitlocker without TPM with the help of a USB key to decrypt the PC at startup...
No luck either... after the system check, I met the same error message. Can anyone enlighten me on what I am doing wrong please?
    Cheers, Marcel
    P.S.:
TPM is enabled in the BIOS
    BIOS is up to date
Windows driver and TPM is up-to-date
I have no problem of booting from USB (in fact I installed Windows like that)

    Hello

In this case, you can try the following method.

Download the file to Image of Windows 8 on the following link - Note that this Image file is subject to a ceiling of download, you may need to try over a period of a few hours before the download starts correctly.

    https://docs.Google.com/file/d/0B0W9PBigPy94aVJWSndyTFNFMzg/edit?PLI=1

Use an app like ImgBurn ( Note: you can deselect additional software during installation of ImgBurn offerings) to burn the ISO correctly on a blank DVD - a guide on the use of ImgBurn to write an ISO on a disc is here.

If you instead create a flashdrive bootable for this Image, try the free app below.

    http://Rufus.AKEO.IE/

The product key for Windows 8 is encrypted in your bios chip and read automatically during installation.

Other software and drivers you need can be found here.

  • DirectX is not found and can not be installed due to an internal error?

There is no version of directx on my computer whenever I run dxdiag. Whenever I try to install the latest version of Directx configuration DX of Microsoft, it gives me an error and States in order to check the dxlog. I did almost everything on the internet that has been said, I deleted my records which have dirtied DirectX, I also downloaded registry fixers who have not helped at all, none so far can help me solve this problem. Here is my log of directx:

    Hi Snowpy24,

Welcome to the Microsoft Answers site.

    Method 1:

Download the DirectX from the Microsoft Web site and then try to install it on the system. Click on the link below.

    Use DirectX Runtimes (August 2009)

    http://www.Microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=04ac064b-00d1-474e-b7b1-442d8712d553&displaylang=en

    Method 2:

I suggest you try a SFC scan. Follow the steps to perform a scan of the SFC.

    1. click on the Start button

    2. on the Start Menu, click all programs followed by accessories

    3. in the menu accessories, right-click on command line option

    4. in the menu that appears, click on the option "Run as Administrator"

    5. If you have the User Account Control (UAC) enabled, you will be asked permission before the opening of the command line. You simply press the button continue if you are the administrator or insert password etc.

    6. in the command prompt window, type: sfc/scannow , and then press enter

    7. a message will appear stating that "the system of scanning will start"

    8. be patient because the analysis may take some time

    9. If all the files need replace SFC will replace them. You may be asked to insert your XP CD for this process to continue

    10. If all goes although you should, after the analysis, see the following message "Windows resource protection not found any breach of integrity.

    11. once the scan is finished, close the command prompt window, restart the computer and check.

For more details, see the article mentioned below.

Description of Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 System File Checker (Sfc.exe)

    Hope this information is useful.

  • Windows Mail error, 'Message is not found' and emails are lost

    Problems with windows mail:
Click any message in a file and get the same opening
Move all messages from Inbox and show then all of the remaining messages in the folder "Message was not found.
Move folder and opening his new message displays the contents of another message
Usually messages are scrambled or lost - not sure
    Digitized and up-to-date anti-virus software
Able to send and receive fine, only problems with drag and drop/move messages to other folders
One variable that has changed is the compression of files, now off but still no change then trying to mvoe files open
Backup unnecessary because files corrupt/screwed up before backup

How do I return my emails?  How to get Windows Mail works correctly so I can trust him.  Unnecessary Microsoft for support - they want cash if it is a new machine, they say OEM should provide support, but OEM cannot be planned and referred me to Microsoft.

    Hello

In Windows Mail - Tools - Options - Security - uncheck Encrypt contents and attachments if not checked

  • Cisco ASA 5510 - IOS upgrade 7.0 failing. Not found Flash BIOS

    Hello everyone

I have a Cisco ASA 5510 in a lab with none of the configurations environment what so ever.

Objective: upgrade the IOS current version 7.0 (8) to 7.1.1 (possibly go to 8.2 until memory upgrade on the SAA: 256 MB to 1 GB and then move to the latest version of 8.2 IOS).

Output to see the attached Version.

    Output Flash attached show.

asa711 - k8.bin is the file that has been copied from a TFTP server to flash.

The following commands have been executed in order to update the IOS

The only way for me to do things to normal is if I BREAK the sequence starting with ESC and go into ROMMON mode. I then issue a start command for the SAA to start with 7.0 (8) default IOS Image.

Please can someone explain what is the problem here?

Apologies if I'm missing something obvious that I'm not an expert of the SAA.

Looks like that the ASA is hitting a field notice: fn62378. The FN, it's because of the incompatible version of hardware and software. Please upgrade to version 7.1.2 instead of 7.1.1. If you plan to spend in 8.2. So instead of going 7.1.2 you could go to 7.2.5 (recommanded), then 8.2.5

    It will be useful.

  • WIN8 - gateway by default not found - tedious error

Since a few weeks I get an error repeatedly (and frustrating).  2-3 minutes to a few hours and my wifi connection errors on.  I get an error limited connectivity (no Internet access) and most of the time - but not every time - running the utility of troubleshooting and to reset the card network solves the problem.

    System information:

After you run the troubleshooter, it's the detailed info, I get:

The connection between your access point, router, or cable: detected
Your modem broadband has connectivity problems: does not work
The default gateway is not available: fixed
Reset map "Wi - Fi": completed

And here is some info on my wireless NETWORK card

Adapter Wi - Fi information about network drivers:
    ... Description: Intel Centrino Advanced - N 6235 manufacturer.... : Intel
    Provider of...: Microsoft
    Version...: 14.8.8.75

Set the type of security: WPA2 - PSK configured for encryption type: CCMP (AES)

I have two other computers (Mac and Win 7) as well as three tablets, in the House, and no other problems.  Also, I encountered exactly the same problem no matter what router I am on.  It could be my house or any number of coffee shops, library, House of friends, etc, I always get this error at a given time.

    My troubleshooting steps, so far:

    • Verify that the router has more recent firmware.
    • Uninstalled the NETWORK card wireless driver and reinstalled more recent Intel.
    • Turn off the features of the power management on the NETWORK adapter through the device and power settings manager, to make sure that the computer was not put the NIC to sleep.
    • Disabled firewall and antivirus to see if these programs 3 rd-party were interfering.
    • Achieved a cooling system - it seemed just something to do.
    • Wipe the PC made an installation clean and test from there (with no additional software or bloatware installed).

And these steps (made one at a time), I keep getting this same exact error.

My last step is using a USB wireless adapter and running through my wifi.  It is a temporary solution at best - if it is stable - that my speeds have fallen to 5 x slower than with the internal wireless card.  But that leads me to believe that it is the NETWORK card or a problem with Win 8 being responsible for managing the NETWORK/connection map.  The USB has its own software.

Does anyone have any ideas or solutions?  I did some research autour and my problem is not unique, but I've not found a viable solution for the moment.  Declassification of Win 7, unfortunately, sounds like the best solution... but I refuse to pay for another OS, because there is something wrong with this one.

    Thank you
    Ben

    p. s.

It happened five times by writing it... sigh.

    Hi Ben,

I appreciate your efforts to try the following steps to solve the problem of troubleshooting.

This problem may occur if the network card is damaged or corrupted, if TCP/IP is damaged or altered.

    Method 1:
I suggest you try the procedure described in the article and see if it helps.

How can I troubleshoot network card?
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-8/fix-network-adapter-problems

    Method 2:
If the problem persists, I suggest you try to reset TCP/IP. Check if it helps.

    (a) boot to the view from the office.

    (b) open command prompt, right click in the left corner when the window appears and select (admin) command prompt.

    (c) at the command prompt, copy and paste (or type) the following command, and press ENTER:

    netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt

Note: If you do not specify a path of the directory for the log file, use the following command:

    netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt

    (d) restart the computer.

But when I insert the user, no problem

I need to use the merger see data befor insert. Someone know why with the merger of this error occurred? and who can I fix?

My version of oracle is 11.2.0.1.0 - 64 bit

    Thanks in advance

I have the problem, it's very strange!

I use TDE in the name column when I create table1, but I change table2 to encrypt the column.

I have the error ORA-28374 when I use the merger.

I dropped table2 and I recreated with TDE in colum.

So no problem when I use the FUSION!
