  dynamic binding (insertion of After Effects compositions on a Premiere Pro schedule) rarely worked properly since it was introduced. Problems vary (for example "media disconnected" made plates, old versions of comps rendered).

  What's worse, is that you can never tell what will be ultimately made out of Premiere Pro. Thus, a typical professional workflow to several projects together to finish during the day and batch overnight rendering can cause a catastrophe.

  Of course, the option is to not use dynamic link. Which makes then less competitive whole adobe.

  This subject has been widely discussed for years has been a dynamic links. I'm not the only one having this problem, and the problem is far from new.

  Hello, all.

  I'm having trouble with dynamic text not displaying only not on the scene during execution.  When I test the scene, fields of text but loading, but when I test the movie, or run publish a snippet, the text is not there.  Some figures appear unstable in the text fields, but are often completely empty. --J' did ensure that the fonts have been included and I can't understand why this is happening.

  Any ideas or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

  Try another font which has called to work correctly, such as Arial and see if you still have the problem. Not all fonts can be embedded correctly...

• Weird problem with dynamic text

  I created a dynamic text field - mediaImportName001 (created and it contains the name of a file that I have chosen to import them using a browser (as3 and AIR) button.)

  It works very well - I can import the file, and the name appears in the field.

  I would now like to pass the content of the text field to another text field.  But I'm not content. If I try to find the contents of the textField trace("mediaImportName"+thisNum).text - Flash returns "undefined" (even though I'm him asking to draw once the field has been filled).

  I use the following code to check that the material is really there and named correctly (the code returns the children):

  No logic problem, just a problem with describing the problem (as far as the fix goes) and using the property name (as far as the issue goes).  There is a difference between the creation of a dynamic textfield (a type of textfield) and dynamically a textfield (using code to create).

  In AS3, the name property is a property and it is not the same as the name of the instance that you can assign to an object on the stage.  To target an object using its name property, you must use the getChildByName() method, or alternatively, you can use the variable you used to create it.  You may need to cast as a TextField object as well as to operate...

  trace (TextField (this.getChildByName ("mediaImportName" + thisNum)). (Text);

  which would produce the same result as the use of...

  trace (mediaImportName.Text);

  I don't know how the numbering disperses on "001", but you might find it easier to work with by storing just the instances of an Array by using the media_file_num to set the index where they get.  Then, you would be able to target the textfield to help...

  trace (tfArray [thisNum]. (Text);

• Custom problem with CFINPUT, masks and onFocus events

  I'm running into an interesting problem, I found a bug in ColdFusion MX 7.0.2 on Windows Server 2003. I have a CFINPUT field with a mask and an onFocus event. When the page is rendered, however, the resulting HTML code has two events onFocus with my called twice and the mask function, called only once. I was able to work around this problem, but it is kind of annoying. See the example below:
  
  

  It's not a bug it's a feature, depending on your point of view. Focuses on the first field with a mask using the mask attribute. Your code runs subsequently.

• Problem with dynamic table

  That users write a lot in the text fields, the table to a different page breaks (it seems not nice) and overflows. The users cannot see the rest of the table.

  The problem seems to be the subform below. You have any ideas to prevent this, without much changing the interface?

  One thing is that if you enter more text in the field, the Table row / will do a page break, if it extends beyond the height of the page.

  So, if you enter a smaller length text in another field, then it appears on the first page but since the line has been "Broken Page", if you click the same field in the second row it also displays the same text. (Once you remove your mouse on this second page of field, the text disappears. But it will appear in the first page all the time. The text in this field was not "Broken Page", this is the reason for this kind of behavior).

• Problem with RV0042 - mask subnet/router/gateway?

  Hi guys.

  I have a DSL here in Holland. To use my RV042 VPN function, I need the router to get the IP of the DSL modem. No problem, I bought a modem that can define transparant and with dhcp-parody the modem Gets the public ip address (say 85.223.12.34).

  The thing is, I can't access the internet, or in fact any IP that isn't in the first segment of the external IP address. So I can reach 85.123.34.56, but not 86.123.34.56. So I plugged the modem to a computer, set the transparent modem and the computer got the public IP address. And you know, I have a perfect connection, and everything works. Looking at my ip information, download the provider 255.0.0.0 subnet. Im not a Networking Wizard, but it seems to me that the problem lies here. But why is my stand-alone pc able to connect quite normal, but when I connect my linksys RV042 and internal diagnostic test (ping) of the router or a computer behind the router, obtaining an ip address, I don't get anything.

  When I ping manually, I also get the message "network is not available. Ping to an IP on the same subnet (for example, 85.111.111.111) goes perfect.

  I'm obviously missing something here. My colleuge said it could be and router/gateway (currently bridge) or a NAT problem-associated device.

  Please point me in the right direction.

  What static routes you add exactly on your RV? It's funny, it works now.

  WIndows seems to accept a gateway address that is not on a connected interface.

  The first line is the rule of default gateway:
  0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 217.149.196.82 85.223.66.38

  The second line just tells you that 85.0.0.0/255.0.0.0 is connected to the ethernet adapter that has the IP 85.223.66.38.
  85.0.0.0 255.0.0.0 85.223.66.38 85.223.66.38

  Technically, the first route should now work. There is still no route for 217.149.196.82 in the routing tables. The only route that matches the destination IP 217.149.196.82 is the first route.

  But I guess that, in your case, that default gateway with 217.149.196.82 is actually connected to the network on the side of the VP, i.e. your ISP WAN runs two IP subnets on the same network. Since this first route runs on Windows, I guess that WIndows simply tries to find the MAC address of the 217.149.196.82 on the WAN using ARP interface (i.e., it assumes that the device with 217.149.196.82 is directly connected to the WAN Ethernet) and if something is used as default gateway. Is not really consistent with the ideal IP routing, but still works...

• Very strange problem with quick mask

  Hoping someone can help me with a very strange problem that just started to happen when I enter the quick mask in PS CS5. Let me guide you through the problem.

  (1) I opened my image in PS, go in the Mode mask quick and 'paint' my image in translucent red with a brush (100% of opacity, brush, etc. normal mode).

  

  (2) once I fully painted my picture in translucent red, I leave the Quick Mask mode and the area outside the translucent red is selected. I hit M for the marquee tool, right-click on the picture I have just painted and choose 'Select inverse', which then selects everything within the translucent red area (note that I made this a million times over the years).

  

  (3) my image is now selected. In general, what I do now is cut (cmd + x) that selected the image and paste it into another canvas, generally where is my biggest project. Whenever I did it, the image cuts and fits exactly as it is seen and leaves an empty space in the original image. However, when I cut it now, it seems to cut a transparent version, leaving behind a transparent 'ghost' of the original image.

  

  (4) then when I paste the image cut in a new canvas, it is transparent as a default value.

  

  I checked the transparency of all the paintings, and they are set to 100%. As I already said, I cut from images of no solid media using the quick mask all the time and it's never happened before. In fact, I made this weekend and it has only just begun in the last hour, so I think I clearly something clicked or activated a parameter without realizing account!

  In considering this explanation, I hope someone knows what is causing my pictures to cut and paste transparent after that I used the quick mask. It certainly is driving me crazy!

  Any advice or assistance would be most appreciated.

  In your first screenshot the color of foreground in the Toolbox is not 100% black (RGB 0,0,0)

  Until you try the quick mask, press D to set the foreground on black (RGB 0,0,0)

  so I tried passing dynamic where clause, but there is every time that the execution of the first clause only how can I dynamically pass both queries.

  Actually I'm passing the parameter to the basic page popup, so in page popup page and the base, I was using the VO even to run then, probably due to that he was running again for all data, so for the basic page I created a new VO and tried to pass the parameter like when clause for questioning now it runs very well Thank you for all your help

• ScrollPane + problem with dynamic text.

  I use the ScrollPane component to display a movieclip that contains text. So far, I went to a few paragraphs, with the text field defined on "Static text"... but as I wrote a few more I noticed that the text box displays only half of my text. So I went to the "dynamic text", which solves the problem of display and get 100% of my text but now I always displayed onstage, even if it is available in the library... strange!

  Could somone help me please?

• Problem with dynamic arrays, XML and JavaScript patterns

  With the applied XML schema my JavaScript does not correctly work when it is added a 2nd row at my dynamic table. Instead of an added empty line 1st row data is copied on the 2nd line and if you change the data in the 2nd row it modifies data in the 1st row also. It works fine if the XML schema data connection is well removed.

  No idea what I can do to get this working with the schema that is applied in the same way, it works without the schema?

• Problems with animated masks and external images

  I have an instance of movieClip on the stage and I load an external JPG in the movieClip.  The movieClip is hidden by a layer that starts the animation on a certain range.  As soon as I reach that govern my loaded external JPG disappears.  The movieClip are not reluctant to be hidden, but once the mask comes alive the external image disappears.  Mask animation is frame-by-frame comic forms.

  It is interesting to note that, if I create a class and load the JPG into the movieClip (or do it in a constructor) I do not know what problem - is when the jpg files are loaded into an instance of movieClip, who lives on the stage I encounter it. Unfortunately this is not an option in my project (since I have to get the path for the JPG file in an xml file, I'm loading).

  Could someone help me with this please?

• ScrollPane problem with dynamically added components

  I am trying to add a series of 10 ComboBoxes in a ScrollPane one under the other. If the height of each ComboBox is reported as 22 the content mc displays a height of 298 (22 + 9 * 100). After filling the ScrollPane with 10 ComboBoxes, ScrollPane shows an empty space below the last ComboBox. I guess that somehow these components retain their default height (100) when added dynamically.
  
  Example of code at the end.
  
  The result is the same when adding of components such as Button, CheckBox, RadioButton.
  
  Any ideas what could be wrong? How can I make sure of ScrollPane content height of MovieClip is reported as 220 (10 * 22) with exact fitting ComboBoxes ScrollPane?
  
  And Yes, the required components are added to the library. The problem is not that they are not displayed... They display all beautiful... but just the height of the ScrollPane content is more than the actual content.
  

  It's a timing issue. You will need to listen an ENTER_FRAME after adding components - and then update the component ScrollPane;

  I have 2 separate workflow in my application. 'Search-user-flow' & 'create-user-flow. I got to view these feeds in my main application (home) as a dynamic region with 2 dynamic links.
  
  My page main split into two panels where I suppose to display dynamic links on the left side and the workflow right. Want to display the default search feeds loading the home page, and when I click on the link for the user to create, create flow must be exposed to the right side. Please help me how to do the same. I was halfway through the path, but not totally.
  
  Here's what I've done so far.
  
  Step 1) creation research-user-flow (this stream were only page fragments not pages)
  Step 2) created create-user-flow (this stream were only page fragments not pages)
  Step 3) slide / move the search-user-flow in right panel of the main page as dynamic and created new "searchFlow" managed bean and the same card.
  -(After this stage, the main research stream fragment appears in my main page)
  -(Managed bean created taskID entry and the method)
  
  Step 4) slide / move the create-user-flow to the left side panel as dynamic link.
  Step 5) slide / move in the research-user-flow for left side panel as dynamic link.
  
  During the loading of my main page, I could see 2 dynamic links in the Panel left side and 1 flow to the right side panel. Now when I click on the Create User link, it's pass the stream and display the stream of the 2nd on the right. So far so good. Now, if I hit any link here after an error. Please help me how to solve this problem and make the works of dynamic region. It is really urgent and fight with past 4 days...

• Problem with dynamically created in a loop function

  Hi, the project is to create a thumbnail image dynamically from a xml file and display an overview with the event delivery. My problem is that I dynamically create a delivery for each thumbnail and inside the function the name of the image to load. I get no error, but the loaded image is always the last of the loop. Where is my mistake? Is there a solution?
