Problem with resolution 1280/720 IN2030M!

I have a new Dell XPS with an IN2030M monitor and graphics AMD Radeon HD 7570.  Depending on the configuration of Dell, the resolution is set to 1600 x 900, which seems good and the monitor adapts.  But when I reset the resolution up to 1280 x 720, the vertical width is piled up a LOT!  Which is interesting since the horizontal mode to 1280 pixels looks very good.  I played with the controls of the monitor, which made no difference and I've tried magnifying glass mode which worked but the evil eye of photo!

How can I get the monitor to work at a resolution of 1280 x 720?

Thank you, Bill

> In accordance with the manual of IN2030M, 1280 x 720 is not a valid Dell resolution. Next, we validated is 1280 x 1024

To make a long story short, the PC the problem is my wife, who is having problems, see smaller text on a screen to 1600 x 900.  We have also a 2009 Dell XPS with a ST-220 nVidia graphics card, which perfectly illustrates the 1280 x 720.  I swapped between the 2 systems monitors and found that his monitor on my PC now works fine, but my screen on his PC can't handle 1280 x 720.  The problem was evidently the AMD video card.

So I spent a LOT of time with technical support working on the problem, and under the direction of the support agent ended up remove the cable from the DVI slot, remove the VGA - DVI adapter, connect the cable to the VGA slot at the back of the computer (this slot was originally under a plastic cap), allowing the slot VGA via BIOS and then by using the Device Manager to disable the AMD card and the control panel to uninstall the catalyst software.  We now have a beautiful picture in all modes, and my wife is a happy camper!  :)

  • Problem with resolution

Hello, I work with Adobe After Effects and Adobe Photoshop, both versions of CS6 of Adobe Master Collection CS6, I wanted to create a video Full HD (1920 x 1080 p) on AE, but first of all, I created a composition on 1920x1080p, but oddly, PS in PS looks much more "panoramic" to say something and then I import into AE and it looks like a little re-escaled up and down the sides It is more strange since the two compositions are in Full HD 1920 x 1080 p but they don't look the same, but also, so I save the image in JPEG or PNG directly from the PS, the image looks the same as it appears in AE, so maybe the problem is photoshop? the image also appears a bit to scale up and down the coast in the video, and maybe don't look that bad, but still it is a problem and, obviously, I cannot just leave like that.

Thanks to read me, I hope someone can answer me soon, because I make videos in my work and I had this problem. Thanks in advance!

It will have an effect how she got out.

If you want things to be not be stretched, work in pixels square in Photoshop and After Effects.

  • Problem with "resolution and size of the work exceeds the maximum that can be rasterized.

    Hi all

OK, I've created a document 162,7 "x 90.6" (work plan) for a design I design. The document was created using all the flaws - I think that's where I was wrong. Illustrator is now telling me that "the combination of the size of the work and the resolution exceeds the maximum that can be rasterized" after I opened the document and when I try to add a shadow to what whatever.

Other than vector graphics, I created in illustrator, I only have 3 180ppi and 4 300 PPI pictures tranfered just behind the camera photograpers.

    I chose:

1 "print document" in the initial startup window.

    2. I got the size of the artboard, purge and left control the 'pixelation effects' "high (300ppi).

I think that to let the adjustment effects of pixelization at 300ppi, where is the problem.

What I need to create a new document or I can fix it already exists?

Illustrator is 32-bit only and is limited to 3 GB or RAM usage, it is more a limitation to a bug.

t has a limit to the size of a tiff file that I can export for example and you can have reached this limit.

Try opening it in Photoshop before you start all over, and then save it in psd or tiff.

Hey MS etc... I have a problem. I had my value native 1680.1050 resolution on my vx2235wm viewsonic for about a year. I run a geforce 8800GT 512 MB and I have never had a problem with it in the past.

A few days ago when I tried to start windows, it would show the bios screen. loading screen of Windows, but as soon as he got to the Welcome screen my monitor showing no signal.

I reinstalled all the drivers via the safe mode and still not received the same problem. I can run 1280 x 1024 resolution very well, but as soon as I change to 1680 x 1050 it displays no. signal. I posted on the forums of 100 and can't seem to find the solution. I even reinstalled my windows 7 and still had the problem with the standard microsoft drivers. I tried the beta also nvidia.com drivers who have been unsuccessfully.

I'm literally begging now. PLEASE HELP ME

    Hi dansexy1,

I went through a lot of forums and third-party sites, and it seems that Windows 7 is not compatible with resolution 1680.1050.

The manufacturer has not released drivers for windows 7 so wait a few days more until they release the respective driver for windows 7, or you can download driver which supports vista and install the driver in vista compatibility mode.

    Hope this helps you.

You can download the driver from this link: http://www.viewsonic.com/support/downloads/drivers/?prod_name=VX2235wm

When I connect to the TV as duplicate display my laptop switches to 1024 x 768 and won't let me come back to 1280 x 800. How can I fix this. I need dual extended display or tv only is not an option. As you say you are not a noob so maybe you need to change something in the NVIDIA Control Panel. Maybe go to the advanced option when you're at NVIDIA.

Personally when I clean installs I delete, and format the entire disk before installing W7. Doing it this way usually prevents this kind of error occurs. When you use the W7 install disk to format, it may not remove all of the old files registry Vista and can cause problems.

If you start from scratch once again, this may solve your problem, but there is no guarantee.

It took 4 tries on my HDX from Vista to W7 to do things.

I just took a glance at my NVIDIA advanced and under Show options there is an option to "manage custom resolutions. Here I could input what I wanted. What's your has that?

    Hello

I put t know what games you want to play, but generally speaking, it of also depending on the game you can use screen resolutions. For example if your game supports only 2 screen resolutions, you can only use these resolutions.

So all you can do is update the driver DirectX and display. Then, look for an update (patch) for the game.

    Good luck! :)

  • Someone at - he had or having problems with getting nVidia NVS 450 working resolution?

    Hi all

We got a new C20 with a nvidia NVS 450 card - and a $ monitor. The C20 has Windows 7 preinstalled; the out-of-the-box resolution is 640 x 480 and we couldn't make it go higher than that! The $ and the video card are connected via the DisplayPort cable that came with the unit. After you have reinstalled the video card driver that comes with the unit (on a CD containing drivers for Windows and Linux), we could never get to go beyond 640 x 480 resolution. We left thinking that it must be a quirk with Windows 7. We were going to install Linux on the C20 anyway, so we moved on this.

We installed Fedora 14 (64-bit) install the video driver nvidia who was on the CD and cannot get the display resolution greater than 640 x 480. After a few days of tests n errors referring to various online forums, we have successful get resolution up to 800 x 600, but not the expected 1900 - something resolution the $ and video card holders.

Someone at - he had problems with getting the resolution of the video card to work? If so, were you able to solve the problem? We thought we would start here instead to call Lenovo support first, because usually technical questions, we get smarter than over-the-phone responses. Also, waiting for answers on a forum is less frustrating than the vote by phone.

    Chris

    Thank you for your response.

I had the chance to get their hands on another monitor, and when I plugged that, I got the full resolution. After a lot of testing, I decided that it was a faulty monitor and it had nothing to do with the video card. I finally got a replacement screen for the one who wasn't giving me the full resolution.

Subsequently, I went ahead and got the latest drivers nvidia on their Web site. Everything works fine now.

I just installed the latest video driver from lenovo page (which also installs "ATI catalyst")

    Externale monitor:

    I just bought a Samsung SyncMaster 2443FW, 24 "TFT monitor with a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1200

    Problem:

Monitor works fine with my new T400s and my old Acer laptop. However, with my T400 (described above), I can't do the monitor uses the 1920 x 1200 resolution. However, all the other ugly resolutions so I need it to work with 1920 x 120

-If I change the resolution of right on the desktop of Windows XP (and then properties-online settings) and set the screen on 1920 x 1200 resolution, then my monitor used only a lower meanless (1440 x 900) and effect of scrolling as I move my pointer on the screen

-If I use the ATI catalyst software to set the resolution, I can only chose smaller resolutions (he not go 1920 x 1200)

    Questions

Is it a hardware (maybe the graphics card does not support 1920 x 1200) or a software problem (maybe a problem with the driver) or just a matter of adjustment?

    What can I do?
