  If you want to convert Word files to PDF with the Adobe Reader application then it is possible with the service Pack of PDF. Try to use the service on the web: https://cloud.acrobat.com/convertpdf

  Hiya! As the title says, I have problems with the pressure sensitivity in CS3. I use a HP Pavilion tx2000 (or, more precisely, tx2115nr) tablet PC hybrid. I used the help function to see if my brush settings were set correctly... but it seems that just CS3 is not save that I use a tablet at all (it shows a yellow warning triangle little warning that I need a Tablet for pressure sensitive settings;) I don't know if it is supposed to do or not). I used a (sorely outdated) version of Photoshop that worked very well with my tablet PC, and I find it rather disheartening that CS3 does not work... someone can help me solve this problem?

• I have problems with the standalone version of Lightroom 6.

  (1.), I bought the standalone version of Lightroom 6 - CC No. I bought the disc, not a download.

  (3) when I clicked on the icon on the desktop to open it - about three weeks ago, I got a message that I could buy (1) or (2) try it for 30 days. Of course, I couldn't choose one of these options because two of them would require me to pay for the program, either immediately, or within 30 days, if I wanted to continue to use it. If I deleted this message, Lightroom would not open. So, I was locked out Lightroom even though I had already paid for it.

  (4) given that I got the disc, I decided to reinstall Lightroom. This allowed me to use Lightroom again. I've been using this new facility without problem for several weeks; However, when I clicked on the icon of the office tonight to open Lightroom, I got the same message again: buy it or agree to a 30 day trial. So, I'm locked again.

  (5) I decided to install again. I managed to install the program on the disk; However, when I tried to open Lightroom, I received the message (not the exact wording): "you have installed Lightroom on computers too ' or maybe it was ' you used this serial number for facilities too - something along those lines." (I can't raise the message again, or I'll give you the exact wording). So now I'm completely locked.

  (6) before these challenges, I got Lightroom installed on my main desktop and on a laptop that I used when I travel. That's two facilities, and I installed twice on my desktop computer to try to circumvent the problems described above. However, I carefully watched my installed programs and there seems to have only a single installation of Lightroom 6 - no step three.

  (8.) I would like any suggestions to fix this mess.

  I've updated your records and you should be able to use your license now.

  When you receive the message about the trial or a 30 day program, you should be able to choose the "Software license" option and activate using your key in order to to use without getting to re-setup.

• Problem with the compatible version of line lock tables

  I tested the effect of locking in the tables in activated version to assess restrictions workspace manager to update the records in different workspaces and I met a locking issue where I can't seem to update different registers of the same table in different sessions if these same records have already been updated and committed in a different workspace.

  I run the tests on 11.2.0.3.  I have ROW_LEVEL_LOCKING worth IT.

  Here's a simple test case (I have many other test cases that are not as well, but understand why it is a problem of blocking will help me understand the results of others my test case):

  I am surprised, recordings of the different IDS cannot be updated in different sessions which is why is session 1 blocking the update of the 2 folder that is not being updated anywhere else.  I tried this using different workspaces not LIVING with similar results.  I tried to change the properties of the table for example, initrans with and always get a lock.  Changes made to the properties of the table are correctly propagated to _LT tables but not all tables in handler related workspace created for table T1 that precedes.  I don't know if that's the problem.

  Note an example of the query Manager space background likely to create the lock is something like:

  UPDATE TESTWSM. T1_LT SET LTLOCK = WMSYS.LT_CTX_PKG. CHECKNGETLOCK (: B6, LTLOCK, NEXTVER,: B3, 0, 'UPDATE', VERSION, DELSTATUS,: B5), NEXTVER = WMSYS.LT_CTX_PKG. GETNEXTVER (NEXTVER,: B4, VERSION,: B3: B2, 683) WHERE ROWID =: B1

  The reason for the block is actually the same as above.  The splits is registered at the level of the version/savepoint, not necessarily just the workspace.  In your example, workspaces TESTWSM1 and TESTWSM2 have a single version and the LIVE workspace has 3 versions.  A new version is always implicitly created during a CreateWorkspace operation if the most RECENT/current version has modified data.  The lines for the id = "1" and id = "2" are changed in each workspace to the child and before creating a workspace.  However, since the id = "3" LIVE online has changed after the creation of TESTWSM1, it is in a different version of those other 2 rows.  So when the updates for the id = "1" and id = "2" are executed, the line is attempted to be divided between TESTWSM1, TESTWSM2 and the latest version of LIVE.  No other line has been updated with this combination so we try to introduce a set of lines in the metadata table.  As this happens multiple sessions at the same time, one of them is obliged to block until the other transaction issues a commit or rollback.

  It is not a way to avoid these LMD.  The lock is acquired in this case is a short-lived transaction lock and they are required for the correct rows be returned for a particular workspace.

  I work with PS CS3 and I have a new camera - Sony NEX 5N. I'd love to upgrade the PS, but for now I can't afford to. Convert my NEX to the raw files to DNG using the latest version of the converter. I think now I would create my own profile to the camera. Previously, I used the script Thomas Fors, but I understand that the DNG EP is preferable. Am I right in thinking that pulling a chart by using the graphic tab that is able to do that and it will work for CS3 and MacBeth and the NEX - 5n.

  A related issue, converter DNG already apply a created specific Adobe color profile for the NEX - 5N under the 'Standard' option in ACR, for all I'm trying to do is change the profile of Adobe?

  Yes.  Profiles with DNG EP will work under Camera Raw 4 in CS3.  You just need to be sure that you have at least ACR version 4.5.

• SFTP does not connect with the CS3 version

  I'm having a strange problem and I hope someone can help. I have searched the forums and talked twice to Adobe support and have not yet been solved.
  
  The server where most of my sites is hosted using SFTP. It worked fine with DW8. Now when I try to connect, I get a message that it cannot connect, the server is might be arrested or not accept connections (not true). Then I crash, with the small Windows XP box that says Dreamweaver CS3 has encountered and error and needs to close.
  
  My server guy says he can see me connect and then disconnect immediately.
  
  I tried all the troubleshooting things: Add the port number to the ftp address, deleted the sshhosts file, deleted my configuration files, etc. Nothing makes a difference.
  
  Now the strangeness: Adobe support had me create a new Windows user. This user CAN connect! So apparently some piece of software (installed because I installed CS3, I guess) is blocking my connection. I uninstalled my QuickTime/iTunes, I had installed after CS3, but who did not do. I cleaned the registry. I ran various utilities antivirus/spyware/etc. Still no connection.
  
  This is the server that I am paying. It is not acceptable for me that I can't use a key feature of DW, my primary web development tool, with it.

  I am marking as the answer, although I do not consider that it a satisfactory. I ended up reinstalling DW, and now I can connect to my SFTP server. I still don't understand why I couldn't. It bothers me, because it could happen again.

  (And, I might add, it took an entire afternoon uninstalling and reinstalling, period during which I couldn't use other programs on the computer.) Grrr.)
