  I have uninstall desktop experience. Some how the server restarted before uninstallation could be completed. Now I'm trying to re - install desktop experience, but the error code is 0x8000FFFF, Catastropic failure (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8000FFFF (E_UNEXPECTED)).   I tried several times to install "MS16-019: Description of the update of security for .NET Framework 3.5.1 in Windows 7 Service Pack 1 and Windows Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1" on a Windows Server 2008 R2, running Service Pack 1

  Windows Update has always ends with 'Failure' / has encountered an unknown error. Code 80073712

  The convenience store has not solved it either.

  The server is not really exposed to 'outside' as such, runs in a local network, regular, small; but sometimes, a web browser may be in use.

  Is there anything that can / should be done here to remedy the failure of the installation? Or free time and even not to worry about this?

• 500 error after installing the CF on Windows Server 2008 IIS7 9.0.2

  After installing the CF 9.0.2 on Windows Server 2008 with IIS7, I get an error 500 return of all my websites.  I made sure to change the permissions in the C:\ColdFusion9 folder to full control for psaadm, psacln.  I'm sure that CGI, ISAPI extensions and ISAPI filters are installed.  I rebooted.  I can access the administration of CF on the server, but all of my websites are generating 500 errors on remote browsers.  The uninstall does not solve the problem.  Help, please.  What can I do?

  Problem solved!  It was related to incompatibilities of 32-bit/64-bit with Plesk.  There are two steps to solve this problem:

  1 snap the Internet Information services manager, access the properties of the advanced application pool and enable 32-Bit Applications 'false' for plesk (default) (2.0) (pool) value.

  2. in Plesk, disable the Web statistics (accessible via password protected directory ' / plesk-stat/webstat /')

  Note that you will not be able to use the functionality of Plesk protected directory until Plesk solves this problem.

  while closing after my windows server 2008 r2, many programs are open so I tried to close all the one by a sudden .at instead of using the X I used the close button. in mmc, I suppose that an error has occurred that caused problem blocking the program works correctly

  I would like to have a remote desktop solution that allows me to connect to remote computers even while users are connected, with the help of another session. The idea is that the user working locally in the remote system can function normally undisturbed by the remote user. I have tried TightVNC , but I couldn't understand how to enter an independent session. I am using Windows Server 2008 and I want two users access to the server with two different sessions as remote users.
