  I have a mac book pro which has a partition with windows 7 pro (I SOUL, in the way that you need to restore the computer whenever you need to use the window). I installed fusion 3 for both systems without having to restart. I deleted the partition and tried to reinstalled the window. now, I have a problem with the product key, what can I do?

  If you have difficulties to activate Windows 7, open the Windows Wizard of Activation in Windows 7 to use the phone and activate Windows:
   
  Try this and wait for a real person and explain what happened:
  
  a. Click Start, then in the Find box type slui.exe 4
  b. press enter on your keyboard.
  c. Select your country.
  d. Select the telephone activation option, then call and hold to a real person.

• Can not activate Win 8 - reports of problems with the product key

  Hi all

  I have just downloaded 8 Win and tried to upgrade my existing Win 7 Home Premium VM, which I run on VMWare Fusion 5.0.1 on my Intel MacBook Pro 2009. I wasn't able to do the upgrade in place - the installer told me that it was not possible to run Win 8 on this machine. Instead, I created a. ISO file and used to install Win 8 in a new virtual machine. Everything works fine, but I can't activate Win 8. The error message tells me that "something is wrong with the product key" even if I could install Win 8 with the same fine product key.

  I called various hotlines MS today but don't have anything got no solid advice. Am I the only one who experience this issue? Is there something I need to pay attention during installation of the virtual machine to win 8? Is it possible to install a fresh VM with a key product upgrade in the first place? I would appreciate any information you might have on this subject.

  So my phone got wet by the rain and, fortunately, only my internal hard drive has been damaged. I went to the mall to buy a new hard drive and had it fixed by a pc repairman. However, they told me that I have to reinstall my windows and says that they can install a pirated copy of windows 8 (I bought my laptop with a pre-installed windows 8 in there), which I have allowed because of my urgent need for the laptop and the lack of money to buy a new installer. At first, I thought that my problem has been resolved and I can reuse the laptop. However, after a few days of use, windows crashes always with an error code driver_power_state_failure and don't constantly back running after a few minutes. So, I thought that what I have to do is to find my product key 8 original windows and reinstall windows 8. Someone told me that I can still install it by using the product key in my motherboard

  My question is how I'll be able to restore / reinstall windows 8 by using the original product key? And is it possible to recover the product key?

  PS: when it has been damaged by the rain, I've had my laptop checked by some computer know-how and told me that only the hard drive has been damaged and all the other parts still work fine. Once it was repaired, I was able to usevit again for a few days until the crash/restart happened.

  This error is not caused by the missing key, but because you have a pirated copy of the operating system, we can not help you.

  Things you should know:

  • A Windows 7 or Windows 8/8.1 product key cannot Activate Windows 10. Windows 10 uses its own unique product key.
    
  • By default, the versions of Windows 10 are previously entered, which means, you don't have to enter a product key and should not be invited to enter one as long as you upgraded a activated License of Windows 7 or Windows 8 or 8.1 of Windows or Windows 10 Preview build.
     
  • If you perform a clean installation on the first attempt, you will have to start from an activated installation of Windows 7 or Windows 8/8.1.
    
  • If you are prompted to enter a product key, click on Do this later and give it a few days, 10 Windows will be activated automatically.
    
  • Activation servers may be overwhelmed at the time due to the volume of updates, so give it some time if you get an error of the type ()0XC004E003, 0x8007000D, 0x8007232b or 0x8007007B) 10 Windows will activate eventually as long as you upgrade by using the appropriate method.

  Each computer toshiba laptop comes with preinstalled operating system (recovery image) and the product key at the bottom of your laptop belongs to this version. Product key at the bottom is not a kind of universal product key and cannot be used for activation of another version of Windows.

  You can use the delivered Toshiba recovery disc that contains mage replicated several times and each time you will have activated the operating system. When you use the Microsoft disk for the installation of the OS you must have valid product key which belongs to this particular version.

  In your case product key is for Vista, and you cannot use it for Win7 activation. This product key is... unnecessary.

  You can't say the product key.  If you use an Installation of Vista genuine disc it will install its own version to know the product key when you are prompted to enter (all versions of the same size of the bit are included on the authentic disc).

  If the laptop is one of the well known brands, he may well have a restore partition.  If you do not have a manual to the user of this computer, then go to the manufacturers website and look for the documentation.  At the very least, you should be able to find information about how to restore the laptop from the recovery partition.

  If the restore partition has been decimated, the manufacturer may still have available for a nominal cost of installation diskettes.
