problem with the tab control type def

Hello community,

There is still much more to learn more about LabVIEW.

I have a tab control which is a (non-strict) type definition. It has 5 tabs with indicators.

When I open type def and insert another tab, say three position and close type def, the tab on my fp control will of course win the additional tab.

But the new number three tab will contain this as the former number tab three content and only the last tab will be empty.

This isn't what I wanted. I think that I am doing it wrong.

Is it possible to get an empty tab posted on three without defeat the purpose of a def type (because obviously I could decouple the def of type control, insert the tab and do a new type def).

Best regards

Florian

Florian,

I hope that you will display the tab as a user interface control in one place. In this case, you can have a typedef enum to subVIs and disconnect the the typedef tab control.

Thank you

  • Problem with the CLOB data type.

    Greetings,

I am facing a problem with the CLOB data type. I know that the CLOB data type is 4 GB (I use Oracle 9i). But in the Pl Sql procedure, I can only store 34305 size for a CLOB variable character data.

This is the test script that I am trying to run.

    END LOOP;

    Dbms_Output.put_line (SQLERRM);
    END;

Here variable C_1 range value 34305 good character regardless of type CLOB. Now the above script fails if query my buckle - huge number of return values. It is throwing the exception "error during transfer of files ORA-06502: PL/SQL: digital error or value."

He would be grateful if someone can help me on this.

    Thank you.

You are probably better off using DBMS_LOB.append, instead of the concatenation of varchar2 (|).

No, he can't.  the fl.controls.Button class includes code to the graphics used in the button component.  If you do not use a component button, do not import this class.

  • C3 - problem with the Tab key as a shortcut

    Hello

In our software to move between fields, you click on the Tab key. I wanted to imitate this and have created a click on the button with the tab as a shortcut key. Small takes you to the next slide to fill the next field. Sometimes, it works well.  Other times the tab key highlights the areas on the screen in yellow and then on the skin and won't really spend e-learning from as it should do. Ways to stop the problem yellow box occurring without changing the use of the Tab key as a shortcut?

    Thank you, Ellen

  • Problem with the Quicktime controls, native

I have a small question just to see if anyone else has had this problem.

I use the product animation DVD Director, generally I use scripted rewind, fast forward, etc. buttons to order movies. A guy asked me to use the native controls of Quicktime instead, but when I check for them to show, it blocks the program. Now, I know that I was able to do this before, but now I turn... What is happening in the 9, 10 AND 11. I used 11 but I downgraded to an earlier version to see if I could do it in the previous version but there it is in all versions. I was able to do before the 9 and 10.

the only thing different than before are that I have 11 and a new computer, but cannot think of any reason why this would be a problem.

anyone has this problem with the Director shuts down when you are trying to activate the native quicktime controls? no idea why he would do this?

Thanks for any help you might be able to provide...

Are you on Mac or PC?

It sounds like a conflict of driver - I can activate the controls in D9 and 10 with QT to win 7.5.5. Have you tried another computer?

  • Problems with the tab 'create PDF '.

I have a client who is trying to create a PDF from Word using the tab "create a pdf file.  The PDF is created, but only the colorful behind her text boxes appear.  It run Win7, Word 2010 and Acrobat Pro XI (with the last update). The same thing using the option "print to PDF".  The word 'Save as pdf' works very well.

    Weekly Conservation Report (test)_Page_1.jpg

It seems to be a kind of problem of incorrect overlay. You can solve the problem by selecting the command Edit Text & Images in Acrobat XI and right click on the boxes and selecting the command reorganize.

I saw this problem occurs with older .doc files opened in newer versions of Word. One thing you might try is to save the file word to another format such as RTF (first backup) and then resave a .docx before creating the PDF file.

  • Problems with the tabs (edition of the index) - CS4

I'm lle establishing a cumulative index of 136 pages for a magazine and I would like to limit the amount of handwork as much as possible. The paragraphs that are set up with a. 875 "withdrawal right and a-. 875 "final withdrawal line, which helps keep the entries to encroach on the space where manifest. However, I still see cases where the entries do not meet tab stops as I'd like (see below).

Is there a solution that will keep the text being the subject of a push into the gutter without having to manually forced line break me? Techincally, it is the last line of the paragraph, so there is nothing to make it "hang up" as I want. Ideas? Will I set up my tab stops incorrectly?

    Screen shot 2010-09-15 at 3.41.12 PM.png

Good, I think that I have a solution that can be applied with find & change only.

1 Add a tab in the tab rule, just before indentation of law:

You must do this for all styles, if not every style is inspired by a common base style.

After that, the document goes out of whack:

    2. use search and replace: GREP to search it

    \t(?= *\u\l\l/\u\l\l \d\d)

    and replace with this

    \t\t

with the addition of the attribute of No Break.

    3. now, it should be fixed - nothing extends beyond the tab that you just put

    4. it creates a new problem, however. (I spotted just in time, too.) Look at the points - the "left half" is "BOLD", probably taken from the text in bold, half right is not, and there is a small amount of space between two tabs. Don't panic: apply a character style to all the tabs, using a GREP style:

-You can simply add this to your paragraph styles.

  • Latitude E5430 - problems with the fan control

Hi, I just bought a Latitude E5430 expect to get some laptops Dell Business quality. I use Windows 8 x 64 (in mode UEFI) BIOS A09 and the latest drivers available at dell.com.

The problem I encounter is that as soon as the fan turns on, it does not turn off for a long time (blow fresh air), even if there is no high load system (only Internet Explorer open) and the temperature is lower than 50.

Basically, the fan starts at a temperature threshold, cools the processor at 38-40 ° C, and even if the fan running does not cause the CPU more cool, it continues to operate for a long time (10 minutes or more) (while the CPU temperature constantly remains at 38-40 ° C). :-(

Please forward this issue to the Ministry of development of the BIOS so that they can provide an update that improves the fan control.

Everyone also having this problem, please take a look at this post from Dell-Terry B:

Same problem here. A09 BIOS update did not help. My specs: i7 - 3520M, 8 64-bit Windows

It does not make sense to try to build a literal string that represents the binary data in a GIF file and that insert a BLOB using an INSERT... Statement of VALUES.

You can use the first approach (dbms_lob.loadfromfile) to load a GIF file (or any file) into a BLOB.
If the image you are trying to load is not a file on the filesystem of database, you can use SQL * Loader on the client machine to load the data, or you can write an application in any language you want that reads the data from the file and inserts it into the BLOB by using the API in your language / framework. You have not told us what language and framework you use, but it shouldn't be too hard to find a suitable example. For example, if you use Java and JDBC, here is an example of loading a GIF in a table.
