Problem with the text in the div tag

Hey there,

the question that I have is that every time that I add text to a div tag and press 'enter' to start on another paragraph, the text on the first paragraph right guard moved down to about a paragraph. It happens in Dreamweaver and the browser when available is presented as a preview. I have included a few pictures below, please advise.

I want the text to align to the top instead of from a paragraph down. Something like this (made in InDesign):

Paragraphs, titles etc. have legacy browser style rules.

We can remove the style by adding rules to the top of the stylesheet

Even better is to include a CSS reset set of rules such as found here http://meyerweb.com/eric/tools/css/reset/

By the way, please note that the use of identifiers will limit your fun by using style rules. You should not use ID unless needing a single login. In your case, I would use a class.

Heights of adjustment are also going to strangle the natural flow of your document, especially if you intend to start on the drawings of fluid

Problem with the conditional tags in printed output
I write help files for different versions of our software - version 4 and 5 using Robohelp for HTML 5.0.2

There is a large overlap of information between the two, so I use a help file joint with marked topics that are specific to version 4 or version 5.

I went out and then use with 'NOT v4' or "NOT v5" as the conditional tags.

It works fine in the HTML output. However, I encountered problems with the printed output.

Ideally, I want the help file using the option "generate the single document" because it means that the document produced, without the single output field. However, when I do, the tags conditional build fail and I get a piecemeal result.

If I generate the document by using the option 'generate individual documents' tags conditional build work, but I get the only field I want to avoid.

Does anyone know how to get the conditional tags to work when the option "generate the single document" is selected?

I think I have the answer now.

In the properties for the SSL Print dialog, the third screen is the dialogue of section layout. I had removed some sections in the right pane (for example, the default title page, glossary, and index) because I did not want them to appear in the final printed output. It seems that without these sections present conditional compilation tags do not work correctly when the document is released by using the option 'generate a single document ".

I started again with a "blank" printing of SSL version. Conditional constructions using the "generate a single document" appear to work fine when I leave the dialog layout intact section.

I can even do the conditional tags build an injustice because the option "generate a single document" (after that I made the changes in the dialog layout section) seems to be that some of the chapters in the table of contents and omitting others.

alignment with the < div > tags

I am having trouble getting my 3rd < div > tag align (id = flash). It is left in line with the edge of the tag '#content' < div >. Essentially left alignment on the edge of my centered layout. Here is my code, anyone can have an idea on what I'm missing? I am new to do not use tables.

I'm currently building a website for a server CoD: WaW Nazi Zombies I'm currently getting. The purpose of this one is just for me and my friends to play nazi zombies and test different mods of it. I'm putting the layout for the Web site using styles and DIV tags I want to have two div tags on the same line as the other. Some solutions I've seen include float, but when I try that it does not work so I turned on the Adobe Forums. Here is my code:

If you have Dreamweaver, why don't you just try one of their file > new... home pages? Maybe try 2 columns with header and footer? Or fair value each of your divs a different background color and try to play with things. You should be able to simply float your div 'nav' on the left. It is usually a good idea to create a div 'container' and put all your other div inside. Then the div 'container' your maximum width and value margin: 0 auto;

My problem is I crazy my website in photoshop, it sliced upward and exported all went well, I made a model and made all the editable regions

It is obvious to me, what is the problem. You used a graphical application to generate your HTML code for you. It's OK for fast prototypes only. As you have discovered, code HTML Photoshop is too rigid and fragile to use in a real website.

Use Photoshop to create images only.

Need help with the div tags

I created several tags to dig under the body of the page (called bodyleft, englishpara, polishpara and bodyright). The body has an inserted image I will be converting to a viewer. I want to do is merge tags so that when the image is enlarged the content below it is pushed down until the picture returns to normal size. Does anyone know how to do this? Or I have to choose a different layout?

The only way to have content to move down when other content develops is that all of this content placed in static containers, i.e. is not not a position absolutely. This is going to happen to the Exhibitor an image lightbox.

Re-positioning of the div tags

I am struggling with the div tags - I'm a newbie and have created an experimental web page. However, everything was good until I started to add a spry menu. the right tank moved and I can't figure out how to move left. I tried positioning properties, but could not make it move! Can anyone help. I only have 2 divs "left_column" and "right_column" more container page is here

I have a problem with the Oracle text markup.

I am looking for keywords in a text which is composed by a question and answer.
Here is the structure of my text:

Single quotes in a query do nothing. I think that your request has been treated as

Service & (internet INPATH (//div/a))

Photoshop: problem with the text tool

Problems with the 'Text Ticker' Widget

It seems that you use the same name for all instances of ticker on the page.

You must have a unique name for each ticker you want on a single page. Strips with duplicate names will not work.

Problem with the display of alt text

Hi guys, I have a strange problem here. my www.gogua.gr site cannot display alt text and I can not find the error, can you help me?

Your website doesn't have a problem with the replacement text apart from the fact that you use innapropriately. What I think you are looking for is 'ToolTip' that IE displays when you hover an image with alt text? If so, that is to say wrongly uses the alt text and Firefox is correctly I think that, with the title attribute. It isn't your site that may or may not display the text, this is the browser.

With regard to the use of alt text to say 'click to enlarge', this isn't such a good idea. The use of the text is to provide an alternative text for the image in case a viewer is not the images displayed, or uses a screen reader. It should be used to describe the image.

Problem with the bulleted text

I am new to InDesign and the suite CS4 and am having a problem with the flow of text in a bulleted list in a trifold brochure.
I work with a background image to EPS and in the bulleted text in a text box in one of the 'pages' text will be not as typed - jumps to the next line for some reason any. If I create a text box similar off the page I have no problem, and it lists as needed.
The first image is as it should be, and the next image is how it makes its appearance. Any attempt to change seems futile.
Any ideas please?

This has been covered a lot. A BIOS update may be an option to solve the problem of keyboard mapping, you can change your keyboard shortcuts to reassign the digital keypad input to be a paragraph return or you can try simply by changing the State of the numlock - if it is on, turn it off and vice versa. Withthis problem most of the systems that seems to change the function of the two keys back and forth between the enter alpha and entry number.

Strange problem with the formatting of the text

I had a strange problem with the formatting of the text. I created a document in Polish language and the strange thing happens when it divides the word to the next line. For example here on this part of the page, I have a word "umieszczamy", which should be divided "' u - CEF - szcza - my", but my Indesign divides in umi-eszczamy (as shown on the picture). " How can I fix it so it divides the word correctly?

What language is awarded when you select the text? Hyphenation, but also the spelling, is controlled by the dictionary that is assigned to the text.

If the language is correct, you might have to change the hyphenation in the user dictionary.
