Problematic JDeveloper facilities (rt.jar)
Hello
I have problems with JDeveloper facilities on my new laptop Windows 7. My previous laptop was also Windows 7, and he has not had these problems with the same versions of JDeveloper.
I installed 11.1.1.6 and 11.1.1.9 JDeveloper and both versions have the following symptoms:
- Sometimes I can't start JDeveloper from the Start Menu, I have to go into the installation with Explorer directory and launch it by clicking on jdeveloper.exe.
- Compilation warnings:
Warning: Error occurred during initialization of VM Warning: java/lang/ClassNotFoundException: error in opening JAR file C:\Oracle\Middleware_11.1.1.9\jdk160_29\jre\lib\rt.jar
- Running an integrated Weblogic application works well at first but after a while, I get an error internal server with the following types of errors:
weblogic.servlet.jsp.CompilationException: Failed to compile JSP /view1.jspx view1.jspx:7:4: The type java.lang.Object cannot be resolved. It is indirectly referenced from required .class files <f:view>
By following the instructions on this forum and elsewhere, I have tried using a different JDK (I used JDK provided for 11.1.1.6 and tried to use then the one that came with 11.1.1.9), checked that I can open rt.jar after changing the type of file in .zip etc. I also changed the directory privileges so that my user account has full control of all files in JDeveloper.
Any suggestions what I should try next?
Thank you!
Jdev 11.1.1.9 is provided with the jdk 1.6?
I thought that it uses jdk 1.7.
Try to download the latest jdk 1.7 and install it on your pc. Then install jdev 11.1.1.9 and download the generic installation program. Install jdev using the generic installation program (run as admin) and use the jdk 1.7, you have installed before.

Generic applications Java runs only within Jdeveloper, not at the command line
JDeveloper 11gR1PS1
I created a Java program which is autonomous - to be called via Unix scripting. I just chose Generic Application and adds the scope of Java and XML technology. I also have a POT that is provided by a 3rd party to be used as an API.
When it is run through Jdeveloper (for example to do a right-click on the java class and choose run), the program works very well.
When run via command line after the deployment of the application as a JAR, I get the following:
He complains about my line by calling the Auth class, which is part of the JAR provided me by the 3rd party. But he runs the successful when run in Jdeveloper.java -jar myprogram.jar Value : 123.. Ok Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/customer/api/Auth at com.company.posauth.myprogram.main(myprogram.java:69) Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.hyweb.posapi_npg.Auth at java.net.URLClassLoader$1.run(URLClassLoader.java:217) at java.security.AccessController.doPrivileged(Native Method) at java.net.URLClassLoader.findClass(URLClassLoader.java:205) at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(ClassLoader.java:319) at sun.misc.Launcher$AppClassLoader.loadClass(Launcher.java:294) at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(ClassLoader.java:264) at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClassInternal(ClassLoader.java:332) ... 1 more
The JAR is included as a dependency when you deploy the project.
Ideas?If you want to include the 3rd pot of party in the jar that you produce then you must go into your deployment profile and create a new type library file group, and then select the JAR file in the contributors section.

How to connect a sybase database in JDeveloper 11 g with JConnect
Hello
How to connect database sybase in JDeveloper 11 g with JConnect? Help, please.User,
It would be useful that you explained Sybase Jconnect rather than leave us to google.
It seems, in any case, you need to create a definition of the library in JDeveloper, add the JAR of JConnect files appropriate to the classpath of the library and then add the library to your project.

I AM right-clicking and select run, and then he asks me 'JAAS Security' identification, I type the name of user and password that I set in the jazn-"Data.xml" and I got the following error...

I finally discovered what it was!
It was caused by the Application Module class (* Impl.java). All of our classes of applications modules extend a custom class that extends oracle.jbo.server.ApplicationModuleImpl and that class was this in the constructor...
logger.log("New ApplicationModule being constructed... " +this.getFullName());
Remove the "this.getFullName ()" fixed the problem.
Thanks for your help!

Error: Internal compiler error, ended with a fatal error
Dear Experts
I searched the forum for this error, but I found no solution.
My project was working fine without any problems. But now when I try to compile the ViewController project, this error occurs.

I have re installed Jdeveloper again but the error still exists
This problem occurs only with this project
Please any suggestions
Thanks in advance
The problem is a corrupted ViewController.jpr file, which suggests some of the error:
Context.NODE = test.jspx, Context.PROJECT = ViewController.jpr
Somehow the project file structure does not meet expectations of the Analyzer. If you use a source code control system using an earlier version of the project file, otherwise we must try to correct the mistake yourself (or you try to recreate the sources tee jpr file).

Table empty ADF Swing of sizing.
Hi all
I have an empty Panel created from ADF Swing. Can I do a right click on it (panel.java) and run it, which opens a panel empty. The Panel that opens is 6 inches by 5 inches way to small. My question is how can I do this Panel to open full screen when I run?
Thank you.
Bobby has.Hi Bobby,.
I suppose that you leave JDeveloper generate ADF Swing Application with the model and view projects. So right click on the draft opinion-> New-> profiles-> JAR file deployment - give a name and folder (e.g. archive1.jar)
Then right-click on the view again once-> deployment-> archive1-> jarin my case, I have my pot in this path: D:\java_11\Swing1\View\deploy\archive1.jar
Now I can run my main method in the Form class, which in my case is actually brano.swing1.view.FormDeptView2 (brano.swing1.view is the name of the package) any place where java the same version I used to compile in JDeveloper is installed
But you have to study what other jars (libraries) is also necessary. The easiest way how to test is to copy the command-line of the JDeveloper when you click Run and go to the JRE of JDeveloper studio folder and run your jar it:My JDeveloper JRE is in d:\jdev11\jdk160_11\bin\java.exe sort:
d:\jdev11\jdk160_11\bin\java.exe -client -classpath D:\java_11\Swing1\.adf;D:\java_11\Swing1\View\classes;D:\java_11\Swing1\Model\classes;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\modules\oracle.idm_11.1.1\identitystore.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\modules\oracle.adf.model_11.1.1\adfm.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\modules\groovy-all-1.6.0.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\adfdt\lib\adf-dt-at-rt.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\adfdt\lib\adf-transactions-dt.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\modules\oracle.adf.model_11.1.1\adfdt_common.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\modules\oracle.xdk_11.1.0\xmlparserv2.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\modules\oracle.adf.model_11.1.1\db-ca.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\modules\oracle.adf.model_11.1.1\jdev-cm.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\modules\oracle.ldap_11.1.1\ojmisc.jar;D:\ jdev11\jdeveloper\modules\oracle.adf.share_11.1.1\commons-el.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\modules\oracle.adf.share_11.1.1\jsp-el-api.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\modules\oracle.adf.share_11.1.1\oracle-el.jar;D:\jdev11\modules\javax.activation_1.1.0.0_1-1.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\modules\oracle.adf.share_11.1.1\adf-share-support.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\modules\oracle.adf.share.ca_11.1.1\adf-share-ca.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\modules\oracle.adf.share.ca_11.1.1\adf-share-base.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\modules\oracle.adf.share_11.1.1\adflogginghandler.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\modules\oracle.jmx_11.1.1\jmxframework.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\modules\oracle.jmx_11.1.1\jmxspi.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\modules\oracle.adf.model_11.1.1\bc4j-mbeans.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\modules\oracle.adf.model_11.1.1\ bc4jwizard.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\modules\oracle.javatools_11.1.1\resourcebundle.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\modules\oracle.ldap_11.1.1\ldapjclnt11.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\modules\oracle.jps_11.1.1\jps-api.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\modules\oracle.jps_11.1.1\jps-common.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\modules\oracle.jps_11.1.1\jps-ee.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\modules\oracle.jps_11.1.1\jps-internal.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\modules\oracle.jps_11.1.1\jps-unsupported-api.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\modules\oracle.jps_11.1.1\jacc-spi.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\modules\oracle.pki_11.1.1\oraclepki.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\modules\oracle.osdt_11.1.1\osdt_core.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\modules\oracle.osdt_11.1.1\osdt_cert.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\modules\oracle.osdt_11.1.1\osdt_xmlsec.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\ modules\oracle.iau_11.1.1\fmw_audit.jar;D:\jdev11\modules\javax.security.jacc_1.0.0.0_1-1.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\BC4J\jlib\bc4jtester.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\modules\oracle.adf.model_11.1.1\bc4jsyscat.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\jlib\ohj.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\jlib\help-share.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\modules\oracle.bali.share_11.1.1\share.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\jlib\jewt4.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\jlib\oracle_ice.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\ide\lib\idert.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\ide\lib\javatools.jar;D:\jdev11\wlserver_10.3\server\lib\weblogic.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\modules\oracle.mds_11.1.1\mdsrt.jar;D:\jdev11\modules\javax.servlet_1.0.0.0_2-5.jar;D:\jdev11\modules\javax.jsp_1.1.0.0_2-1.jar;D:\jdev11\ wlserver_10.3\server\ext\jdbc\oracle\11g\ojdbc6.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\modules\oracle.adf.share_11.1.1\commons-cli-1.0.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\modules\oracle.xmlef_11.1.1\xmlef.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\modules\oracle.dms_11.1.1\dms.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\modules\oracle.xdk_11.1.0\xml.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\modules\oracle.javacache_11.1.1\cache.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\modules\oracle.ucp_11.1.0.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\modules\oracle.odl_11.1.1\ojdl.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\modules\oracle.javatools_11.1.1\javatools-nodeps.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\modules\oracle.nlsrtl_11.1.0\orai18n-collation.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\modules\oracle.nlsrtl_11.1.0\orai18n-mapping.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\modules\oracle.nlsrtl_11.1.0\orai18n-servlet.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\modules\oracle.nlsrtl_11.1.0\ orai18n-translation.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\modules\oracle.nlsrtl_11.1.0\orai18n-utility.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\modules\oracle.nlsrtl_11.1.0\orai18n.jar;D:\java_11\Application3\Model\classes;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\modules\oracle.adf.share_11.1.1\adfsharembean.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\modules\oracle.adf.view_11.1.1\dvt-jclient.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\modules\oracle.adf.view_11.1.1\dvt-utils.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\jlib\inspect4.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\jdev\extensions\oracle.jdeveloper.jgoodies\forms-1.0.6.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\modules\oracle.adf.model_11.1.1\bc4jimdomains.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\modules\oracle.adf.model_11.1.1\ordim.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\modules\oracle.adf.model_11.1.1\ordhttp.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\ord\jlib\jmf.jar;D:\jdev11\jdeveloper\jdev\lib\jdev-rt.jar;D:\ jdev11\jdeveloper\sqlj\lib\runtime12.jar brano.swing1.view.FormDeptView2
of course, you can it reduce the way store you only the necessary bribes in some names only folder and the name of jars in the classpath. You can create a script file (on windows .bat and set JAVA_HOME variable run from any folder)

Cannot find the class file for weblogic.application.ApplicationException
ApplicationException
Dear all,
I am trying to create a planner in weblogic portal server 10.
I wrote the following code.
package com.abc.test;
Import weblogic.application.ApplicationLifecycleEvent;
Import weblogic.application.ApplicationLifecycleListener;
Import weblogic.management.ApplicationException;
SerializableAttribute public class MyAppListener extends ApplicationLifecycleListener {}
public MyAppListener() {}
MyAppJobScheduler MyApp = new MyAppJobScheduler();
}

try {}
MyAppJobScheduler MyApp = new MyAppJobScheduler();
}
catch (Exception e) {}
}
}
}
The code above is to launch a compilation error.
< strong > weblogic.application.ApplicationException type is not resolved. It is indirectly referenced from .class files required.

Which jar file that I need to import for ApplicationException.
Thanks in advance...
Rajeev Rweblogic.application.ApplicationException should be weblogic.jar, in your server/lib directory.

Add external JAR to the Jdeveloper SOA composite project
Hi experts,
I work on Jdeveloper and want to liaise with the IOM for details on Benerficiary in a SOA compsoite. To start the connection, I added more code in Java Embedding task
And I need to incldue JPS - API.jar in incldued in the project. I followed all means possible such as libraries-> add Jar/adding.
But during the compilation of the project, it gives a compile error. When I remove the lines of code in project below, he starts again compile successfully. How can I bring an external jar to the buildpath of Jdeveloper.
Please suggest
ctx = oracle.security.jps.JpsContext
oracle.security.jps.JpsContextFactory.getContextFactory () .getContext ();
oracle.security.jps.service.credstore.CredentialStore cs = final
((oracle.security.jps.service.credstore.CredentialStore) ctx.getServiceInstance)
oracle.security.jps.service.credstore.CredentialStore.class);
CMap oracle.security.jps.service.credstore.CredentialMap = cs.getCredentialMap ("oracle.oim.sysadminMap");
cred oracle.security.jps.service.credstore.Credential = cmap.getCredential ("sysadmin");
If (cred instanceof oracle.security.jps.service.credstore.PasswordCredential) {}
oracle.security.jps.service.credstore.PasswordCredential = (oracle.security.jps.service.credstore.PasswordCredential) cred pcred;
Char [] p = pcred.getPassword ();
oimUserName = pcred.getName ();
oimPassword = new String (p);
Copy the jar in \SCA-INF\lib

I created a JDeveloper extension project, I need to see some external pots according to my condition. I added the jar to the project and I'm not facing problems at compile time. But when I run my extension, I get the following error:
class java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: < subject >
.
.
Caused by: oracle.classloader.util.AnnotatedClassNotFoundException
I tried the following options:
1 added the pots to the project
2. Add the jars as library
3 referenced by MANIFEST pots. MF file
But none of the above worked for me. The pots are getting delivered with my ExtensionProject.jar, but even when I add the extension for JDeveloper, it does not work.
I am using JDev version 11.1.1.6
Finally, this solved!
The pots should be added as dependencies in the expansion project extension.xml file.

The Oracle Universal Installer failed. On the way out.
I don't understand. Hmmm.
(Or both) of your helpers are useful.
It's...
- change step # 3...
From: command prompt, navigate to the directory where you downloaded the installer.
TO: Command prompt, navigate to the directory where you downloaded the installation program or %JAVA_HOME%\bin
AND
- change step 4 for example:...
FROM: "\home\Oracle\jdk7_15\jdk1.7.0_15\bin\java-jar jdev_suite_121200.jar
To: Downloads > "" C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.7.0_40\bin\java - jar jdev_suite_121200.jar
Or...
bin > java-jar \Downloads\jdev_suite_121200.jaruserC:\Users\
However, the correct answer is for Oracle to replace the Installation Guide as described here
(or change the generic Setup program to do what the Installation Guide explains currently).
And since the Oracle has no process in place to facilitate the correct answers, I'm not clicking on "Right answer" buttons (just the useful buttons).

Executable JAR using JDeveloper
Hello
I created a very small office with JDeveloper Application.
What I want to do is to create an executable JAR file. I mean, is there any option in this tool such as in Eclipse. Once executable JAR is created, I must be able to run it simply by double-clicking on the JAR file.
So can some1 please help me with the steps?
JDeveloper: 11.1.1.6.0For executable jar, you will need to add:
Main-Class: your_package.YourClass
in META-INF/MANIFEST. MF file within the jar.
I don't think JDeveloper support custom files you can modify this content after the jar is created (for example, with a tool for zip/rar/7z)
In addition, if your application requires some extra pots, you will need to add this line to manifest:
Class-Path: additional.jar

Library jar with Jdeveloper 11 g problem
Hi all
I have a classic Web implemented in Jdeveloper 10 g application and migrated in Jdeveloper 11 g. The application needs a jar library.
