  On my site, there are 7 pages of catalogue with images with links to detail pages. One of the pages of the catalogue displays fine but on others 6 pages, "[AD]" appears where the images should be. The links still work, but for some reason, the code of the image when the publication changes.

• Beginner problems: the Images not appearing and slide show does not

  Check the filelinks and also the files / folders are case sensitive on most of the servers.

  Images I used on my home page (http://bengal.missouri.edu/~dsj4y4/SladeHomePage.html) show in Firefox.  They do not appear in Internet Explorer.  However, the same images are used on other pages, and they appear in IE.  I double checked that they are in RGB format and they are.  I can not find this issue anywhere.  I am very new to html and Dreamweaver.  I ran the page through the W3C validator, and it found no errors.  I would be grateful for any suggestion.

  I don't see any images when I load your page.  It seems that in your code, the files are named end in "". "" JPG"but those are appear as not found, but if you type".jpg", they are.  If you simply rename that to lowercase it should appear in all browsers.

  BTW, I tested in Safari 5 and Firefox 4 beta 6.  Neither showed the images, so once Firefox 4 is out your images would disappear again if you are testing with an earlier version.

  The button images and some pages are not displayed correctly the web they have a Red Cross in it if you hover over some of the buttons they invented the text boxes and work, but not all.

  However my wife who is the administrator has no meanings and we have removed all administrator rights, but the problem is still there for me and my son.

  Your help on this issue would be grately appreciated because he drives me crazy.

• Saving as a single .html does not include the full web page (with images and properly formatted) as it did before! What happened here?

  First of all I must emphasize that I keep always up-to-date as soon as a new version of Firefox will appear.

  Now, a few months ago Firefox was able to save complete web pages as a single .htm file (including images and styles). Proof of this is that I have done it then. But now, after a few Firefox updates (sorry, but I can't identify exactly which of them might have been the one that messed up for me), while he was trying to exactly the same thing on the same website it is no longer possible. What happens is that now to choose the option 'Save the Web as HTML' (which I think is that I used to select before) it will not save the images and styles of web page, only the basic text and the home page anchors while he primarily save!

  I still have the old .htm files, I saved before (I can give them to you) and they work again properly on any PC (I tested), so it means that it is not a .htm file using the cache on my PC to render the images links to the file.

  I am aware that I can choose the 'Full page' option, but it creates a folder that I don't want to, so I'd rather have the old option to export the web page in a unique and properly shaped file that includes images!
