  Please try this sequence... Note that, throughout the entire 4h15m process, your BB must be directly connected to a charger checked (not PC USB, not a docking station):

  1. With battery, connect your BB to the wall charger
  2. Leave it alone for 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the screen not
  3. Remove the battery
  4. Wait 15 minutes
  5. Insert the battery
  6. Wait another 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the screen not

  This has been known to "revive" some BBs.

  It is also possible that your battery or BB has encountered a problem... to test, this sequence is necessary:

  1. Get a known good and already fully charged battery... use it in your BB and see what happens
  2. Get access to a BB good and the same known... use your battery in there and see what happens

  The results of this will show if your BB or your battery that has the problem. Carefully note please that 'new' and 'know' are not necessarily the same things. Although rare, a 'new' battery could certainly be defective. On the contrary, the easiest (and cheapest, btw) method to perform this test is to find someone with an identical BB which has no problem... trade in batteries and see what happens.

  my blackberry torch battery indicator is displayed continuously like a battery empty red even when it is fully charged:

  It is said that the battery level is 1% since last night.

  I tried to recharge as well to the wall and from the PC, the bolt flashes (on the Red battery icon), but the level remains at 1% and the orange light blinks.

  After that what I believe is a sufficient time to fully recharge the battery, a "stopper" replaces the bolt flashing on battery (always red and empty) icon.

  The phone, once unplugged the sector, works perfectly, the only complaint, is that the battery indicator is always red, it says 1%, and the orange light blinks continuously; so I never know when the phone needs to really be recharged.

  Everyone knows the same problem? I don't think that the problem is in the battery, but somewhere in the software... suggestions?

  I thought I'd give an update I solved the problem! The only solution is to get a new device.

  I tried many things, including not charging the phone at all until the battery really runs. In this case when I plugged it back I thought it worked well as it was very much in charge and the battery became white of empty Red... Unfortunately as soon as I unplugged the charger, the battery indicator is returned empty Red 1%.

  I called my provider ad, they sent me another combined (still a 9800 torch); I put my battery in it, and it works perfectly.

  Hi Softlayer,

  After the battery is charged completely IE 100% even if the adapter is connected, battery does not charge beyond 100%. You can disconnect the adapter and you can use the laptop through battery. Once the battery is up to 20% you can start loading again.

  If you want to have a good battery life, I suggest you to activate the mode of preservation in the application of energy management. This method will charge the battery up to 60% and it stops after 60% of load.

  To activate the conservation mode go to the management of energy and select setting and in virtue of the present select conservation then on option.

  If you remove the battery and plug the power adapter, are you able to boot Windows?

  If it is possible, then your battery has probably not and must be replaced regardless of what the diagnostic test said you.

  Batteries for laptop computer or netbook are only guaranteed for one year. If you get three years of life of a laptop battery, you can consider yourself very lucky.

  Hello! This is my first time posting but I had some problems lately with my iPhone while keeping a charge.

  So, this has started to happen a month ago (exactly one year after I bought my iPhone) and my battery drains just exponentially and evacuates it sometimes when I'm not using it and the internet is not on. For example I'll fully my phone until I fall asleep and I'll put it on airplane mode before going to sleep. By the time I wake up, the battery will be down to 60%. I do not use it during this time, I don't get notifications because all data and the internet is disabled. I do not understand why it is empty.

  Anyway, I've taken to the Apple store Genius bar twice now and they have not been able to fix it. They have tried to restore it... I did that before I went to the Apple store, but they decided to do it again and the second time the guy just told me to turn off all the background app refresh or anything I did but it we continue to attract.

Also if there is a problem with Apple hardware and nothing of what I've done so why should I pay for it when it started to happen at the level of the one-year mark.   Yes that is exactly what they are trying to avoid. As you explained that you have visited it there twice to attempt to solve this problem, they could have offered to replace your battery for $79 that with your current battery showing 94% of its original capacity, that would not have done much for you at all.

  Have you been having problems with the reception of your carrier recently, when all this started happening? Were you see 1 or 2 points of service when you used to see 3 or 4? When you have restored your iPhone, you restore it as a new iPhone or restore a backup top later? Just try to refine some possibilities for the continuous emission.

  Restore the configuration as a new device / phone and be on your way.
