  • Problems during the upgrade to TC7.3.6

    Hello

A few questions, that I discovered when TC7.3.6

When upgrading my SX80 Cisco to the latest version of audio software cross somehow does not work. We have the training room with AMX installed control where we have two option either just in presentation mode (without using the VC) or mode video conference.

The audio from the Chooser of Kramer turns to the codec and then out to the BSS: Blu-102, then to the amplifier. After the upgrade when you do a normal presentation and audio does not work in video mode Audio conference seems to work very well using the same way.

Decommissioning at TC7.3.5 the problem has been resolved.

I have a second bathroom with a Cisco C40 where we have installed to switch who has one in and 3 out to our projector and 2 LCD screens. When you use the most recent software two LCDs receives a signal from the codec. I also noticed that everything is pixelated and the edges of even the font on the menu are not readable.

Decommissioning at TC7.3.5 the problem has been resolved.

I'll do some additional tests to confirm this problem occurs when upgrading to the latest version of the software until I opened a case of TAC. I couldn't do troubleshooting because these rooms are Executive rooms and I had to solve the problem as soon as possible.

Everyone has experienced a similar problem?

TC7.3.6 and CE8 have an additional configuration for the Audio element that connects the audio input to a video entry in the web interface, System Configuration > Audio > input > VideoAssociation 1 line.  More than this, there is a MuteOnInactiveVideo that will cut the line when the video source that is associated with the previous command is not present.

You can try changing the Mute OFF setting or changing the source of videoinputsource to a source which is where your video source that is linked to the audio source is connected.

Dear God. I can't believe how much a long time ago, I asked this question. Over 2 years later I see something in my Inbox (right now). Honestly, I know more ask this question.

And more now, I would say try the upgrade to Windows 2000 if you happen to have a product key. Then go to Windows XP. If not, is it possible to restore Windows 98 updates? Perhaps the latest edition of Service causes a conflict with the upgrade. You be left with a clean cloth. I'm curious, that you still have a machine running Windows 98? What is the material/specs on this platform? I can't believe anyone is still out there running old technology like this to use out of it.
  • MY PROBLEMS DURING THE UPGRADE TO WINDOW 10

I received a notification to upgrade Windows 7 to 10 of the window. In may 2016, I started the process. I followed as a result dialog boxes that Windows 7 and downloaded Update window 10. Beginning of June, my PC me notified to the installation of window 10. When I clicked OK, a dialog box informed me that my PC will reboot several times.

When he completed the first 100% and continued with another level of installation, to 32% he is static up to 3 hours when I noticed that my laptop batteries becomes excessively hot. I then turned off the batteries. When I powered up the PC again, it began to recover my Windows 7. From there he was showing me that my windows 7 is not genuine.

Now I couldn't restart the upgrade from window 10.

The PC is my desktop PC and I can't access the product key of window 7 for use in a revalidation. What should I do to get out of the mess.

Not wise to interrupt an upgrade

You even need to create a system image on a removable hard drive?

Anyway now you will need to contact M$ using the activation of the phone and communicating with the manufacturing of the machine to sort the invalid license.

I am currently using a Genuine Windows 7 Home Basic OS.

When I was upgrading to Windows 10 via my Windows Update, download of the updates with 99% , then he started again to 1%.  What is the problem?

Although, I downloaded all the important and optional updates before moving on to Windows 10, then also what why? How to fix it?

    Hey,.

If you get 10 Windows via get windows 10 app, you always can ISO to upgrade.

Download Windows 10 media creation tool

After you download the Windows 10 installation files using this tool, you can upgrade your existing 10 Windows operating system, or you can create the bootable USB drive or DVD to install Windows 10 key later. You can also save the installation files to the ISO in offline mode file format, if you wish.

  • Problem during the upgrade of Captivate 8 to 9 Captivate projects

I am trying to edit a project using 9 Captivate that I had previously maintained using Captivate 8.  But something seems to happen to the peak action.

I've been using a conditional action advanced on the first screen, but after that I open the file and save it with Captivate 9, the tip action stops working properly.  When I looked (no editing has been done to it), it had become a Standard (as opposed to a conditional Action Advanced) tip Action.

In this photo, I have 8 Captivate and Captivate 9 open at the same time (2 Captivate different files), just so that you can see the differences.

Initially cela (and others) advanced actions have been created using Captivate 7, but I had no problem once I moved to 8 Captivate.

    Hi all

My friend recently bought an i7-720qm processor used to upgrade hp pavilion dv6 2 1 5 0 US and I

summer giving a helping hand by making the upgrade.

Since the 10 Windows running Google Chrome used up to 70% of the processing of an i3 - 330 m power

processor, it seemed to be good upgrade to improve the performance of the laptop.

We checked that the new i7 processor is compatible with the laptop (it is listed as supported by the)

( interview guide , page 108), and the seller assured us he tested the CPU on some different

HP pavilion and it worked fine.

But when I replaced the processor with the i7 processor i3 and tried to boot up the laptop, only the LED lights

Thinking I might have made a mistake during the reassembly of the laptop I put the original i3 processor back in

  • Error: The installer cannot set Windows XP required configuration information during the upgrade to Windows XP Home SP3 of Windows XP Pro.

Original title: OEM Windows XP Home SP3 update XP Pro

Here is a compilation of the messages from another forum regarding
    My problem:
    ---------------------------------------------------------------

I'm trying to upgrade a Windows XP Home Sp3 OEM system to
Windows XP Pro. (There are a few Pro features
that are not available in the House I now need: (1) the files offline and
    (2) an add-on available for free to Onenote 2007, Top2onenote, requires a Pro).
I don't want a clean install, but an upgrade. I bought a Windows XP Pro
Upgrade CD on Ebay that was Windows XP Pro
Gold (v2002). I'm sure that's true for the following reasons:

It has been listed as an upgrade, but the CD is not labeled "Upgrade".
It seems very authentic with all Microsoft holography.
He came in the standard package of Windows XP (without box),
    and it was sealed.
The name of volume for the CD is WXPFPP_EN. The Internet,.
It is the retail of Windows XP Pro RTM (gold)!

Here are things I tried initially.

    (1) I tried to upgrade to Pro from the purchased CD. It is immediately
has refused to upgrade indicating the upgrade OS (Pro) is older than the
    installed OS (home)...

    (2) I read about "slipstreaming". "Slipstreaming" allows to integrate
a service pack with an earlier version of the operating system. I created a
upgrade XP Pro SP3 with Nlite slipstreamed CD image (and
Autostreamer later, but it made no difference) from the purchased CD
    and a file containing SP3.

After you burn the CD and start the upgrade
    (Windows installation), the upgrade process
    product through "information collection."
"Dynamic update" and "Preparation of Installation" with
no problems. My computer restarted and returned to
"Installation preparation". A progress bar called 'Progress '.
quickly filled to about 90% and the hanging system
at that time there for about 15 minutes.
Then, I got the following error message:

Setup cannot set the required Windows XP configuration
information. This indicates an internal Setup error.

This is where I am stuck. I had to leave the installation at this point.
My drive is starts raining and I had to restore a backup.

    (3) just for the heck of it, I formatted my hard drive and
reinstalled my original OEM XP Home SP3 OS (no clean up, no user file).
I immediately used my XP CD slipstreamed Pro to try one
upgrade to XP Pro and IT WORKED! I need to find out why the
properly clean XP Home OS upgraded to XP Pro but my pre-existing
(with the files users, drivers, etc..) XP Home OS does not level
    successfully to XP Pro.
    -------------------------------------------------------------

    Another post:

Yet once, today, I installed a new copy of OEM Windows XP Home Sp3.
I continue with installation of all the essential and the add-on
pilots (essentially all my original version). Then, I
set up a network connection and firewall. With this configuration,.
I ran the Pro XP slipstreamed SP3 CD. The upgrade to XP Pro
success (even if the upgrade not configured my graphics
card properly). I guess my current problem is either the registry,
the WINDOWS, some user file or parameter file.
    ---------------------------------------------------------------

    Another post:

I made a file and the backup of the folder C:\Windows folder
on my system that is pre-existing (OEM XP Home Sp3). I also did a
separate the backup the State of the 'system' on my pre-existing system.
These are added my full image backup of her pre-existing
    system a month ago.

I did a backup image of my system (minimum fees OEM XP Home
SP3 with all the original installed drivers over a network configured
connection and a firewall configured). This system will upgrade
XP Pro with XP Pro SP3 slipstreamed CD successfully.

    Experiment 1:

I've restored my minimum system. I then restored the C:/Windows folder
and the State of the pre-existing system backup system. A startup
has managed (with a minor irritant). I had to activate Windows.
Then, I tried upgrading the slipstreamed XP Pro processor. He stopped
at the same place during the upgrade and gave the same error as before:

Setup cannot set the required configuration information Windows XP.
This indicates an internal Setup error.

    Experiment 2:

I've restored my minimum system. I then restored the system state only
the backup of the pre-existing system. After startup I was asked to
activate Windows, but answer Yes to the question would be to disconnect me
the system. I couldn't get connected to try the XP Pro upgrade.

    Experience 3:

I've restored my minimum system. I then restored only the C:/Windows
the backup of the pre-existing system folder. Once again, as in experiment 1,
the upgrade failed at the same place with the same error message.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------

Before the experiment 3, I hoped that 3 experience would succeed so I
could conclude that I had a registry problem. I'm not sure now.
I don't know what to try next. Take the minimum system and reinstalling
my files of the user is not an option that my hard drive has over 200 GB of
programs! If I restore all files and folders of my pre-existing
I would still have backup to restore a system state the reliable (read the registry).
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------

Sorry for the length! If anyone has any ideas I would appreciate your responses.

    Thank you

    Welcome to Microsoft Answers Forums.

This can also occur if an incorrect device driver has been installed for the DVD-ROM device.

I suggest that you visit the DVD drive manufacturer site download the latest drivers for the drive and install on the computer and if it works. Make sure you download the Windows vista 64-bit driver.

It will be possible to choose the 32-bit or 64-bit during the upgrade to Windows 10 no matter what version you currently have? I know there are problems with the upgrade a 32-bit version on 64-bit directly, but it is possible to install 64-bit and have a backup installation files in the Windows.old folder.

If you are currently running a 32-bit version of Windows 7 and you want to migrate to 64-bit Windows 10, you will need to download the 64-bit Windows 10. ISO and make a custom installation:

How to: perform a customized Windows installation

When I install the application, I get the message of trust application, but when I upgrade the application, I don't get the message of trust application but get the message "this application of [application name] has asked an http connection [link URL]" with checkboxes.

These permission prompts appear 7 times in my application for different URLS.

Why the permission is changed during the upgrade and how to avoid these prompts for permission?

What you see is what I see too.  Updates seem to "revoke" the application permissions.

To work around this problem, I recommend to start the application, that it has the required permissions.  The permissionsApiDemo is a good example of how to do this.  If the application has lost permissions, then you must prompt the user for you give the appropriate permissions - new PermissionsApiDemo is a good example,

Don't forget that you can actually loose permissions in other ways, for example the user permissions of your application in editing parameters.  If it pays check every time.
