  My wallpaper, the desktop icons and most of my documents are gone.

  I have Vista Home Premium and a couple of days and I connected my desktop background was changed. Several desktop icons are missing, and a message came up saying there was a problem loading my settings and check the event log, or ask the administrator (me) for more details. All my "Favorites" were missing in the sidebar and my documents and recorded images folders are empty. Microsoft customer service tells me there is an error in my code for the identification of product (from the Windows Activation in systems and Maintenance) so I can't help out.

  It is likely that your user profile is damaged. I would advise to create a new user account and test if you get any errors.   I frequently get a problem loading page messages which provide that it is sometimes caused by disabling or refusing cookies. I have all the cookies allowed in FireFox options, I often delete cookies also. What else could be the problem? FireFox is permitted through my wall of fire.

  Are there Web sites listed in the window of Exception of Cookie?

  If it is was then delete them all unless you added them yourself for a specific reason.

  Several keys on my keyboard do not work.  As suggested on this forum, I have powerwashed the Chromebook twice with no change in the problem.  I contacted HP and I received the box to return it for repair under warranty.  My question is this: does anyone know if I should including the adapter?  The person of tech for the repair, I talked said I shouldn't include it but said that the documents sent by the repair center to register.  I called back several times to try to get what I thought, it was a simple answer or not available.  I want not to return the adapter so I won't get it but I don't want to prevent the repair center to be able to fix the keyboard.  Thank you!

  The only time that you must include the AC adapter is when it is supposed to be a problem with this component.

  You must start your Windows in VGA MODE and reinstall the graphics driver.

  If you want a "newLabel" to appear in the contact details of your mouseEvent, but only if details of mouseEvent are lower on the screen (having a higher value) at the height of your textButton.

  If your TextButton object does not touch the top of the stage (y = 0), you'll want to write this instead:

  if (event.localY > textButton.y + textButton.height)
  

  It may be a good idea to write it anyway, just in case you want to change the position of the TextButton.

• Problem loading XML file on the server hosting

  I have a question wher the lods of XML data very well file and displays on my server testingg but returns "undefined" when uploaded to the server hosting.

  The SWF works! and the xml data are read and displayed correctly. I always get an error when you try to view the slideshow.xml in the browser even with the changes.

  I think that the happy ending is the result of several things:
  1 make the changes suggested by GWD and
  2 pointing the domain to the appropriate folder. For some reason, the hosting server was not pointing to the folder to which I had originally put in it. Then, I changed it. But the change doesn't take effect for some reason any. In any case, after further investigation, I got the domain pointing to the appropriate subfolder and the swf file is working now.

• My L7680 printer would not print because the cartridges were beyond the expiration date.

  I couldn't work around this message and continue printing, although there is a lot of ink in the cartridges.  I had to go out and buy new cartridges.  This is not fair at all - what is the reason to do this other than to force customers to buy more cartridges?

  I found that if I open the door of cartride, get out the black cartridge, just enough to clear the pin code, push it in and close the door, the screen will soon change the installed original HP cartridges.

  The download should go in the home folder of your Web space. And there should be a file named index.htm or .html. If you have created a subfolder in your personal directory and uploaded your files, when you type the web address in a browser, you will need to type www.mywebsite.com/subfolder.

  Everything I read says drivers are not needed.

  This disc has worked for more than a year, so that the new version of Norton has been partially installed, but it does not appear in the installed programs so that it can be uninstalled.

  My next guess is to go through the registry and delete all who say norton or symantic.

  Any thoughts / ideas would be appreciated.

• When opening new page, an additional window says "problem loading page".

  Opening the causes of Firefox open a second tab down to make it appear that reads "problem loading page"... the pages I want to see on all sites, well, I just get an annoying extra tab with this message... If I click on this tab, a small window appears in the upper left corner of the screen that contains the error message. I use FF 3.6. This just started happening recently... maybe after my upgrade of las FF.
