  I tried several days get my PRIV to connect with my bluetooth and phone/book music and the only way to make it work is to disable the function of my phone. Once it was done I tried to connect and to my surprise my contacts list appeared. I pulled the top of Spotify and it played without screaming and cutting. I tried a phone call, and it worked as well. I want to test a little on my lunch hour but well again.

  Try changing your browser to FireFox or IE, browser emulation > Options > browser Configuration > identity of browser or emulation.

  If a battery pull did not tour (and I hope that your phone is powered when you removed the battery, otherwise it will do nothing to help you), reload your operating system is the next logical step.

  To do this, connect your phone to your PC via USB and open BlackBerry Desktop Software.  Once your phone has been recognized, click device at the top of the software, and then restore the menu drop down.  Choose the most recent restore point and the recharge.  That should do the trick.  If this isn't the case, you should return to your carrier for replacement.

  I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come):

  (1) registry HRT

  • Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > host Routing Table > (it matter little what line is current) > sign up now

  (2) Service reference books

  • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service

  (3) restart to take batt

  • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

  I hope that will move things again for you! If this isn't the case, then you should contact your carrier for the support and formal help.

  I learned that having SEVERAL MONITORS has been wasting the Desktop 6.0.  I took my computer to the local computer repair to watch register number I mentioned initially.  It turns out that it was not the register, which has been the cause of the problem, but I have multiple monitors it caused.

  I left my laptop with the repairer to clean my registry and download Desktop 6.0.  When I got home, he said that the repair was completed, Desktop 6.0 has been downloaded and works fine.  I'm back and reconnected my monitors and Desktop 6.0 kept giving me a white screen over and over again.

  I immediately took my laptop to the technician to look at it again.  We turned on my laptop in his office and Desktop 6.0 worked well.  It also works very well here in my office, as long as I don't have my other 2 monitors connected.

  In addition to my screen laptop, I have also 2 other monitors, one connected to the video port on the laptop and the other through a USB interface.  I have my office shared on all three monitors.

  The original Blackberry Desktop I had installed with the CD that came with the Blackberry worked very well with all 3 monitors.  Desktop 6.0 never did.

  I got the new Bold 9900, and transferred to the device. I have 2 problems with the phone.

  (1) the Notification area. When I receive a new notification, I click on the notification bar way higher and a menu drop-down appears. Here, only my calendar data and recent data call appear. None of my new notidfications (e-mail, text, bb, facebook etc.) are displayed. I have to go to indivdual programs to view the new message. Anyway to fix this?

  (2) when I get a new email and open on the Blackberry, it is automatically read on the PC too. Never happened on my Bold 9000. Anyway to change this option?

  It is expected that if you read the email on your BlackBerry, then it will be marked as read on your Hotmail server.

  Use Desktop Manager to synchronize a BB with your computer, then sync the other BB with computer, choose to merge the lists of contacts. You leave on your list. Then write the list of contacts of each BB DM when you synchronize each again, and then the two BB will have all your contacts.

  This should be easy, but apparently not.  A few weeks I had to change my Google/Gmail password.  Since then, no email come on the Blackberry Hub; But, they do on the Gmail app.  When I go into settings for the Blackberry Hub for my gmail address, change the password, there is the incoming and outgoing server settings.  In each of them, it reflects the authentication as "signed with Google."  So, it should be associated with the new Google/Gmail password.  But no emails can come or go out of the hub.  Any suggestions?

  It will work for phone and sms. If your carrier/operator supports BlackBerry so it will work also for email, bbm, etc.. If they are not, then you will get phone and sms only.
