  I spent recently for the Curve 8310 Blackeberry Pearl... with Pearl, I was able to change the color of the folder when I added a new... I can't do that with the curve... it just stays yellow. Is this good?

  Hello! It depends on the theme you are using. A few themes allow different types of records and colors, other don't have an option... to keep things consistent I guess? For example, my 8900 running 4.6.1.133 has 21 different variants of records.   Some icons are in color, but some of them are gray. They were designed as they appear. There's no error on your device or a set of bad option.

• Problem with headset and speed dial combination blackBerry Smartphones

  My headset is a Bluetooth de Motorola 500. I can dial numbers on my speed dial list manually and via voice command and the headset works fine.  When I dial the same number to a speed dial I hear the dial unfold the headset turns off and I hear everything through the phone.  If I hang up and call another call, the headset is very good.  Verizon has replaced the phone thinking it was a hardware problem, but no change.  Did I miss a setting somewhere?

  In addition, since activating the new phone, the indicator message indicates 1 new message, but I have been through all the email and SMS accounts and cannot find anything unread.  Thoughts?

  If Verizon replaced the phone and you still get problems, there are two potential problems that create this problem:

  1. Your phone is not properly the pairing with the headset.  Once Verizon updated their operating system (OS), this can be resolved as bluetooth was supposed to be improved in later operating systems.
  2. Your helmet is simply not fully compatible with the phone.  I used a Motorola H680 headset and a BlackBerry HS655 + with my Storm and had no problems.

  My best guess?  It's probably a combination of 1 and 2 and I'm sure that's all just a related software.  My only suggestion at this point is to wait for Verizon update the operating system for your phone, or you might try an upgrade to another carrier if you wish.  Let us know if you need help with this, but be aware that Verizon doesn't have to endure phones running operating systems that they do not officially support (you can go back if necessary).

  Now regarding your second question, so is the message indicator an indicator of normal message?  If so, start by going to your Inbox main and made scroll down through the list of all messages to see if he is here... it could be a PIN message, or something similar.  It could also be a message to the call log.  Go to the phone application (press the green phone button), then to top at the top, click way to call log button.  You may very well have a failure called message it.  In addition, my next suggestion would be to simply try a battery pull.  While the phone is turned on, remove the battery for 15-30 seconds before reinserting.  Wait for the phone to reboot (~ 5 minutes) and then see if he disappeared.

• Problems with WIFI with the Bold 9700 blackBerry Smartphones

  My daughter recently bought a Bold 9700 and has problems with the help of the feature wi - fi.

  It seems to connect OK to our wireless router, but the performance is pathetic & often give up entirely. It's so bad, she renounced the use of a wi - fi connection and must now connect via 3G. Obviously it's costs downlaods, plan and money, then I'll try to trouble shoot why wi - fi works so bad.

  It took a while, but I finally managed to update to OS 6 and wifi is now humming along nicely. I was getting a lot faster than forward speed.

  Certainly looks like my version of the OS 5 was the problem.

  Welcome to the forum, Shafat.

  This is rather peculiar.

  On your home screen, press the menu button and click on "show all icons.

  Also did you have fun with your service or maybe someone has made books.

  If the show that all the icons method does not work, consult the service books. Access the options on the screen and type "in-home service"... .service books will display on your screen and see if something is a miss.

  Or just registering on host routing table in the menu options... This will re - send service books. It is said once out of sent message to save options. Then do a battery pull.

  Earlier today charged BBM 7.0.1.16. The installation was very well & I loaded the code received on my email address.   If you upgrade the device to the 4.5 OS, scratches disappear instead of the colored contours text boxes.  Much less eye but still easily noticeable fatigue to quicky discern which e-mail account you use.  However, you can disable it in the Options > Security Options > General settings.

  No, unfortunately not. The good news is that behavior passed back during one of the last nights. I wonder the next morning, as I tried to load and restart, it was still on.
