  I'm afraid that I'm not having luck-getting an error code 5 even after running the recovery tools, that I have.   This isn't a mistake, it's a fact. There is nothing you can do with this font, unless you contact the seller and find out if they have an embeddable version.

  FWIW, I would never even consider using a font without rights of incorporation and vectorised text conversion is likely to constitute a violation of the license of fonts as well.

• InDesign CS5 - problem with open Type fonts

  I started using Indesign CS3 after the offer to convert my PageMaker 7 and was very happy to use it so amazing at first, but now became very uncomfortable with Indesign. Then I upgraded to CS4 and everything was a breeze because it perfomed better than CS3. There is no snagging.

  A week ago I put once again today in CS5. Almost all my desktop files are now in indesign format after the conversion. However, I opened my recent file I started on CS4 - I found that policies cannot cannot match. My Arial and Arial Narrow (True Type) now can not be read by CS5.

  And all of my previous Indesign files are set to True of Type Arial

  Why is it so? Can someone helpl.

  Have you looked at the menu drop-down style to arial?

  BTW, there are two versions of OpenType and Arial is the FTT. But it is an OpenType font.

• Problems with change of fonts

  I've updated my InDesign for the most up to date, but before doing so, I never got this problem. I have a new document open and I'm changing the police to something that I have in my library of fonts, but whenever I do it won't let me change. Some fonts, what happen to but not others. I just tried to change text to Cooper Black and it wouldn't let me select it. I can't even physically type it in the box of police. I also tried changing Arial, Arial Black and same number, even if for some reason, I was able to change into intaglio. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, how to fix?

  CORRECTION: I had to click on the magnifying glass to the left of the drop-down list. And then I had to select "Search entire font name" instead of just first word. This has fixed the problem.

  There is no option to change fonts, even if you can limit the application fonts to system fonts with changes to the preferences.

  EDIT > PREFERENCES > GENERAL > USE SYSTEM FONTS.

• VPN Tunnel problem. external interface has private IP

  I don't know if it is wired or not!

  When our ISP provide us an Internet connection our real IP is configured on the ethernet interface, while the serial interfaces have a private IP address.

  The problem here is when I'm trying to configure a VPN tunnel to another router.

  Anything in the configuration is smooth, except for the part where I put the serial interface is my outside.

  The tunnel is still low coz the IP address will be my private (serial interface) during the configuration on the router counterpart is my public IP address.

  So I am woundering is there a way I can force the VPN tunnel to take the IP address configured on the side LAN? Or any other work around?

  Is your block of text on the excesses of page 8 (red more icon on output port)?

  If this is the case, you can have text that is too wide for the frame. Enlarge the image to see what the text, or you can use the story editor to see what is in excess. It is often a long string without spaces that cannot break on a line.

• RoboHelp 11-problem with dropdown lists fonts, size of the police and Zoom

  I have a user guide that was created before I became technical editor. I started using RoboHelp 7 and I do not know if this guide was created in an earlier version of RoboHelp. I myself upgraded to RoboHelp 9 and then to version 11. The file contains 3237 files, 480 records and the size is 64.5 MB. I had someone save me when I was away from the office. She used different fonts on certain topics than what has been used in the rest of the guide. (Arial was used in the guide, using Calibri). I am now updating of the guide and I can't change the font. When my cursor is sitting on the text within a topic title fields and police continue to Flash. Header flashes normal flashing title 1 and police Times New Roman and Arial. When I click on the drop down menu to police, I cannot select anything because the drop guard scrolling, if I try to scroll to the top menu drop-down continues dating back to Time New Roman. And it happens if fast, that I can't click on a selection. I tried you select the font in the topic and do a right click on the mouse select font. I am able to choose the font that I want, but when I click on OK, the police is not displayed in size, it should be. 12 very small poster font size. Anyone know what can cause this problem and what can I do about it? Thanks for any help you can provide.
