Problems of playlist on 8 GB Clip +...

I'm at my wits end.  I successfully used the method of Windows Explorer to create playlists, for my new Clip +, but when I disconnect the player and go to see the results, the first selection that is put in place becomes read ONLY list that works.  No matter if I plug it again, delete and recreate via computer, change the USB settings or anything like that.  Once disconnected from the comp, I'm going to choose a playlist, the player will have a second or two to apparently make up the list, and it is successful. But if I go back and try to choose a different list, the SAME SONGS in the FIRST chosen are responsible.

I tried to use different USB connections I've read here in the forums without success.  I am facing the same problem as above. Other methods here, I recently tried to create playlists, and none have worked entirely:

1. with the help of WMP, but that was before I found the USB MTP setting, and not, it seems, even once, I will have to delete all my content to the reader and reinsert it using WMP to (maybe) try to recreate playlists? I don't think so.

2. I tried using the free "on Sansa Clip Playlist Creator" app, but he does not even see the Clip when it is connected, any USB setting is used.

3. If I try to create a playlist to choose any folder the folder "music" in the drive using the free version of "Playlist Creator for SanDisk Sansa Clip 2.32" results in "No. music or Audio files found." Which means that I can't select all the downloaded files currently in the drive. So, which defeated the purpose in creating a playlist, really.

4. use of Playlist Creator 3.6, as suggested for a similar problem from the playlist on this thread: http://forums.sandisk.com/t5/Clip-Clip/Problems-with-playlists-on-Clip/m-p/127538/highlight/true#M26...
.. .the results in the playlists created as display empty in the player's menu.

A further search of the forums, my problem seems similar to what "belowzeros" has had on his unit to this thread: http://forums.sandisk.com/t5/Clip-Clip/weird-playlist-problem/m-p/102264/highlight/true#M24226
.. .but I don't use Winamp and I'm on Win7.

What I'm doing wrong here?  More than a few hundred songs playlists are too big, maybe? I just can't understand it. It shouldn't be this difficult! I am not computer illiterate, so I am confused when I can't find a solution to this problem, no matter where, after more than eight hours of work at home. I am willing to send this thing back re-formatted and done with it or run it on orbit, I'm so frustrated.

Well, now I feel like the biggest fool never... almost everything I had read up to now had said it didn't matter if you left your playlist in the music folder, and some have even said it TOOK they were.  Well, I'm here to tell you that they do not have.  At least in my case.  It could actually HELP matters if they are ALL in the Playlist file.  Because it was my solution.  I have now three selections of work and perhaps more in the future!  It's a miracle!

Thank you for helping me to air my frustration!  And nobody had to say a few words to me... ha ha...

I'm looking forward to a happy future with my video now... no more threatening to launch into orbit, I swear.  At least in the short term.

Thanks again!

  • Problems with playlists on Clip +.

    Hello

    I am having some problems with the creation of playlists on the Sansa Clip + (4GB).  I have some MP3 files on the internal memory and I have no problem with the creation of playlists for these files.  But I have also some MP3 on my 8 GB MicroSD card (made by SanDisk, by the way) and I was not able to create playlists for these files.

    Let me clarify; I can create playlists for MP3 on the MicroSD card, but no matter where I store these playlists (internal memory or the card itself) I have problems.  If I store playlists on the internal memory of the content of these playlists disappears if I unplug the card.  Playlists are still there, but they are empty.  If I store those playlists on the MicroSD card (where are the MP3 files) and later to unplug the card, the playlists are transformed into something completely different.  The file names are replaced by something starting with a whole bunch of numbers and the playlists are not recognizable.

    I am also having the same problem when I copy MP3s directly on the MicroSD card - the names are changed and there are a bunch of unnecessary additional files added.  The problem gets worse if I put the music in the files on the MicroSD card.  At least if they are all in the same folder that I can get rid of unnecessary files.

    I should probably mention that I do not use the crazy method they recommend manual synchronization of the user with Windows Media Player.  It takes too long and it's too complicated.  Instead, I just select the songs I want in any playlist special (I copied on my micro SD my PC card) and make a right click on any of the selected files and a context menu appears and gives you the ability to create a Playlist - (in Windows XP SP3).

    It works very well on the internal memory.  This is how I did it on my regular Sansa Clip and it worked without any problem at all.  But it will not work with any files on my MicroSD card.  I did something wrong?  Or is my card MicroSD does not work properly?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

    Well, I solved the problem I've been create permanent playlists for MP3 stored on my MicroSD card.

    What I've discovered, is that the new Clip + doesn't seem to like the playlists created in Windows Explorer (i.e.; Choose the songs / right click / Choose "create Playlists) with the extension of file .pla

    Which works very well for any MP3 stored on the internal memory, but not for files stored on the card.

    I use a free program called Playlist Creator 3.6 to create playlists in .m3u format.  This is the format that works for MP3 files on the MicroSD card.

    I make selections in the folder my music is stored On MY PC - then I copy this .m3u playlist folder On THE MicroSD CARD where my MP3s are (those of the playlist I just created).

    You need to copy the list of reading in the same folder that your music is (on the map).  As long as the MP3 in the same folder as the .m3u playlist - the playlist will find them.

    Now, the playlist seems to be empty if you try to open them in Windows, but don't worry-there is work.  The info is still there.  And playlists keep the info and the names you give them even if you remove the card and later put it again.  Hope it will be useful to someone else.

  • Create a Playlist on a Sansa Clip

    I have a Sansa Clip. I created a playlist on Windows Media. When I did a sync more steeply to appear not all the songs, but there is nothing in the section Playlis. How can I create a Playlist named on the clip?

    There are several ways to create a playlist for the Sansa Clip.   There are a lot of messages on the forum.   You can search for other means.  http://forums.SanDisk.com/Sansa/search?submitted=true&q=creating+playlist

    There is a way to do it through WMP, and there is a good article on the knowlegebase:

    http://KB.SanDisk.com/cgi-bin/sandisk_en.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=6&p_created=1221199598&...

    And here's one on translating a m3u list:

    http://KB.SanDisk.com/cgi-bin/sandisk_en.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=224&p_created=122370050...

    It is a small utility for the Sansa e200 series, but I think this would work for the Clip/Fuze well.

    http://www.download.com/Sansa-playlist-creator/3000-2169_4-10723962.html

    But what does the easier for me in MTP mode, is to open the Clip in Windows Explorer, open the directory of the music.   Select a group of files mp3 and then right click on them and select create playlist.   This may not work in MSC mode.

    Good luck

  • Problem of playlist - wish could someone explain...

    Have a 8 GB Fuze w / 32G HCMD.

    Use WMP on MTP sync music and playlists. Firmware update and he's a player of version 1.

    I wish someone could tell me why, after sync about 28 or so GB of music, playlists on the external hard drive will disappear from the playlist screen.  With the help of Windows Explorer displays playlists are always on the "rocket", but does not arise.

    Can someone here explain this?

    I tried to use other programs, but quit because of drive problems (not recognizing my music than WMP).

    I tried the formatting, re-formatting, etc..

    Frankly, I'm at the point of talking to anyone who listen - for a large capacity device "STAY the HELL away a SANSA PALYER - PERIOD!

    Playlists of PLA (made like WMP) format go to the folder selections you drive. These can include the music of the internal memory and external memory card.

    Playlists m3u format go to the folder (drive or card) music along with your music. This format can contain only files from a single source; your internal memory or external card, but not both. So if your playlist is composed of music from your internal memory, you will put the playlist file in the folder music on your player. If it is a playlist of music from your memory card, you would put this playlist file in the music folder on your card.

    I don't know if there is a limit to how many playlists, although there is a limit on the number of titles, you can put in each playlist. On the "rocket", I think it's 1,000 titles.

    Your complaint is not unique, however, we have heard several people over the years who have had the same problem. Music/playlists "synchronized" with WMP disappear from the memory card, leaving only the 1st one created.

    I'm not sure that there is an easy solution. I don't have my rocket anymore, but I use a 2 step process that works on my series e200 and Clip + and Clip players Zip, so I guess it would work also on the "rocket". I create format .m3u playlists in Winamp. Since the music I tend to put in the playlists usually happen to be distributed between the sources of 2 memory and I don't want to juggle them around, I then convert to a format (with a conversion program) .pla, the reader will read the traces from the internal memory or the card.

    Your mileage (and needs) may differ, but it works for me.

  • weird problem of playlist

    Hey all,.

    So I had a Clip from the beginning of the fabulous little device.   But I never really used it for podcasts and audio books, so I'm a noob playlist by all accounts.

    I've done a few playlists with winamp, everything seems fine, the songs are here, I can access all the playlists.

    But after listening to a full playlist (no problem) I went to choose a different playlist.  As soon as the song in the new list of 2nd reading ends Clip dates back to the 1st reading list.  I can get to reproduce this behavior for any playlist.  I can choose any song from any list of reading, and as soon as he did goes back to the first playlist instead of continue on.  I can't seem to go through a new full playlist... it always wants to go back to the first original, I played.

    Anyone know what is happening?  : help:

    Yes, you are certainly right stuff built into Vista shell are incredibly simple and works fab.  Thanks for this tip.

    It seems that the winamp m3u probs come from absolute naming of files and the device currently chokes on it.

    I have no problem to use the built-in shell commands when it is too easy

    Thank you all!

  • Being probably really stupid, but I can not get my Playlists on my Sansa Clip

    Hello!

    You just bought a Sansa Clip 8 GB for the United Kingdom and I'm very happy with it - many of my CD then tried to get smart (?) transferred by creating a playlist, put a few songs in there and synhcing to the top with Clip - no joy!  The read-only list that I see on the Clip is "GoList" and the only way I can add songs to the one on the camera itself - not ideal but doable.

    Have updated the firmware on the clip to the latest version with no improvement - can't seem to curb any personal playlists - I even tried to create a playlist called 'GoList' to see if ir would crush the GoList playlist on the clip.  There can be no.

    I use the clip with Windows Xp Home Edition (SP3) which has WMP 11.0.5721.5260 and have the unit as automatic detection modes MSC and MTP mode did not work (the computer does not recognize the device)... I think that mode MSC, PlayLists don't synch?

    Any help / advice would be appreciated gratefully.

    Jim.

    Glasgow, Scotland, UK

    Thank you very much - now that I know that playlists are not supposed to synchronize in MSC mode, I'll invest my energy to get the mode MTP to work... just thought I was missing something really obvious.  In terms of achievement of the MTP mode work there are loads of articles and advice in this forum and elsewhere on that - I probably need a update driver MTP or need a better version/reinstall WinXP HE or something like.

    As I am totally new to the unit - and digital music in general (been in the dark ages too long!) I really did not know what, if anything I was doing wrong.  Your answer really helped (and it is not indicated in the user manual or the docs supplied with the device) once again, thanks a lot.

    Jim.

  • problem with the recorder on my clip

    I recently had problems with my clip. It was freezing, slow (20 seconds for any action), and stoped working in total recorder. because of these problems, I reformatted it and solved all the problems. the only problem I have is that after reformatting, the recordings began to make a constant hum in the background, and I was wondering if there is any way to fix it.

    and a two second recording takes up double the memory of what a record of one hour ahead

    Download the firmware and reinstall it in the drive.

  • Problem with functions on a Movie Clip

    Hi, I hope someone can help me with this problem!

    I have the clips

    _root. Inhalt.motivcontainer and another one is attached to this
    _root. Inhalt.motivcontainer.buttonLinksUnten

    now, I spend two video clips with:

    _root. Inhalt.motivcontainer.onPress = function() {}
    startDrag (_root.inhalt.motivcontainer, false, 230, 198, 75, 135);
    };
    _root. Inhalt.motivcontainer.onRelease = _root.inhalt.motivcontainer.onReleaseOutside = function () {}
    this.stopDrag ();
    };
    _root. Inhalt.motivcontainer.OnMouseMove = function() {}
    updateAfterEvent();
    };

    My problem is to get another function on the second clip?

    Perhaps one of you have a different solution to drag and too a video clip and have the opportunity to touch the clip on the corner on the scale.

    Sorry for my English.

    Thanks for your help René

  • Problems with Playlist

    I just dragged & dropped several songs for the record music from Sandisk.  The music folder is accessible by clicking on the internal drive.  All the songs have been added to the recently added device.  I then moved several songs from the folder music to the playlist folder.  After that the camera was synchronized, I tried to open the playlist on the device.  It contains no music file.  It's just a list to go and it's empty.

    Did I miss a step?

  • Several problem of Playlist

    My rocket, I cannot add more than one playlist from Rhapsody. If I try to add additional playlists, they replace the one that was there before. Help, please!

    When you use the 4 Rhapsody customer, do not forget to name the new playlist, or it will overwrite your original one.

    If R4 is a pain, Hey, you're in MTP mode already, home of the simple selection tool:

    Open a window of Windows Explorer (my computer) and open the Sansa by double-clicking on the internal (or external) memory, and then open the music folder.

    Ready for a magic Sansa?  Start with your first track, right-click on it.  Voila, a new box.  Drag and drop your tracks in the box.  They are not actually go anywhere, you simply create a list of names by drag / move.

    Then, the name of the playlist.  You can leave this list in the music folder, but in the interest of finding actually there later (I lost among thousand titles playlists, or so, a needle in a bunch of Hay), go ahead and drop this (pla) playlist in the Playlist file.  Your Sansa is smart, it will find and list all your playlists no matter where you put them.

    After playing with this new box, you can then try the great tools at the bottom of this one.  You can highlight a trackand delete it from the list, or change the order of play if you wish.

  • I'm having a problem with a transition between two clips in the first.

    problem.jpg

    The handles are how you have before and after the section of the video images you removed in the timeline.

    Imagine you put a video in your editing and you use the clip (from the beginning to the end). Then you try and add a second 2 cross dissolve between the shots. First will have to at least 1 second image to prior to the shooting to make the transition, but because that there are no images more to use is unable to dissolve it in the middle of the Cup.

    You can do it all on a track just like FCP of Vegas, but you must have the images it to dissolve in.

  • Question about problem with the file using a clipping mask

    I use Photoshop CS6.  I bought a digital frame with a mask of clipping on Etsy.   When I go to insert the image in the image using the clipping mask image continues to show through the edges of the image (as pictured).  I tried blocking layer, but it does not work.  Any suggestions?20140925_184509.jpg

    Try this, 2 layer moving below 3 attach them.

    Hang out with the selection tool ellipse a circle that encompasses the area which should show the image

    Create a mask for the form (make sure the shape layer is selected {now layer 2 to 3} click the icon at the bottom of the layers panel that looks like a circle inside a square)

    You should now see your image.

    If you get stuck, you can capture your screen to show your progress.

    Tips for the selection tool:

    You can hold the SHIFT key to constrain to a circle

    You can hold the ALT key to draw a selection of its center circle,

    You can hold both modifier key for a perfect circle drawn in the Center.

    Finally you can hold down the SPACEBAR to move the selection before you release the mouse button.

  • First Elements 11 - I have a problem with pinning of the video clips in the timeline.

    Hello

    I have a new Prime Minister 11 elements.  I'm working on a video with a narration track project.  Because I have to build animations in photoshop that go with the narration, I'm not editing in a way liner.  When I insert clips earlier on the timeline animations, it tends to move the clips of animation to the top or to the bottom of the timeline and sometimes he's trying to cut my narration.  Is it possible to pin the animations to a specific timecode on the timeline, which then will allow me to insert the live action clips inbetween with out having to sycn are ' animation to the narrative.  In older versions of the first I used years ago (and FCP), it's the titles of easy locking.  I know that you cannot lock a track in PE11, but is it possible to pin the video to the narrative?

    I too if I have to 'resync' animations to the narrative is there a way to select the entire animation (which is located on several tracks) to return it to its place compared to the narrative?

    Thank you.

    Unfortunately, pre has never added the ability to lock a track (something that PrPro and something that I and many others, have asked), so a change in workflow could be the best.

    For what you describe, I would just edit video 1 and Audio 1 (or according to the following you use), and then add your animations on 2 video tracks (or any video track above your edited Clips). All that is on a video track higher, it will be seen, regardless of which is lower than that, except if we adjust the opacity (to see through the Clip on the video track above), or they "drill holes" in this upper Clip, say with Track Matte Keying, or via a channel Alpha, or the Garbage Matte.

    Your animation will be seen and your Clips edited, weaker will not be made, other than that they are not visible.

    Another method would be to make an Insert Edit where your animation replaces a corresponding number of images in the Clip to which you drag, on the same video track. Just hold down the CTRL (Cmd on Mac key) and drag your animation to the place you want to so he can be at the Top of the clip here. Their mounts will be replaced by your animation.

    A third, if you want full "lock" video and Audio, would be to export/Share/publication chronology of the project, and then import the output file (it will no longer Clips, but will be a long Clip), then add animations, or whatever, by using one of the two methods above.

    Good luck
