  Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

  This should be easy, but apparently not.  A few weeks I had to change my Google/Gmail password.  Since then, no email come on the Blackberry Hub; But, they do on the Gmail app.  When I go into settings for the Blackberry Hub for my gmail address, change the password, there is the incoming and outgoing server settings.  In each of them, it reflects the authentication as "signed with Google."  So, it should be associated with the new Google/Gmail password.  But no emails can come or go out of the hub.  Any suggestions?

  I recently got my blackberry 9780 and I'm currently NOT on a data plan. I tried using wifi on the phone, but I always get the message "Cannot connect to the server" when I open the browser or when I try to configure my email account. I disabled Moblie Network Data Services so that I don't use any data by accident.

  I use a Mac Airport Extreme Base Station 802.11n.

  The BB logo would indicate that your BB is connected to BlackBerry (BIS) Internet Service. But, since you don't have a data plan, you get not BIS. In addition, the native browser can never work without a data plan. I suggest that you refer to this FAQ:

  Looks like you are using a beta version of Facebook which requires a unique key to access the app.  I suggest to remove the app and reload the latest standard version of the blackberry world.

  I tried several days get my PRIV to connect with my bluetooth and phone/book music and the only way to make it work is to disable the function of my phone. When I try to connect my BB PRIV to my car, there will be des-1001,-1002, etc., next to the bluetooth signal and after a few seconds he suddenly resets my car bluetooth system.   Hey, if I could get my phone with my car, including the audio both phone and bluetooth features. In order for me to get it to work I had to download the new firmware from

  I put the last seven digits of my vin number in the search and downloaded the update to a USB plugged on the center console of my car. Once it was done I tried to connect and to my surprise my contacts list appeared. I pulled the top of Spotify and it played without screaming and cutting. I tried a phone call, and it worked as well. I want to test a little on my lunch hour but well again.

  You can upgrade to 4.7 WITHOUT Media Manager.  Some people have problems with the MM.  It's also a great Setup and it is easier to use the drag-and - drop in windows Explorer with the lit on your BB mass storage mode.

  Personally, I use DTM 4.6 without MM and have no problem.

• Weird problem of Windows 7 Ultimate with thumbnails and jpg files

  I just installed Windows 7 Ultimate on my laptop and I have a strange problem with jpg files.  I have an archive of hundreds of JPGs, all in different directories.  When I consult these directories in the Windows Explorer window, I can see the jpg files listed in the view ' display large icons "but I do not see a thumbnail; just the Irfanview logo.  No matter if I choose large, medium or small, all I get is the Irfanview logo, no sticker.  But here's the weird part; in some directories I * can * see the thumbnails, not just the logo of Irfanview.  Directories have just jpg files.  This could be the cause?  Thank you.

  If I am undersatnding your problem correctly you should go to the Control Panel and then open Folder Options. There, you should go to the view and under files and folders you will see "always show icons, never thumbnails" remove the check mark in this box, and then click apply at the bottom right.   I got my Curve 8300 for about a month now and have had no problems with synchronization until today.  Some how my appointments Outlook have been removed, but they remain on my curve.  I tried different configurations of synchronization to transfer these data to my curve in Outlook.  After synchronization, the objects remain on my curve but are not available on Outlook.  If I manually enter an appointment on the curve, it syncs, but the other past and future appointments will not.

  I also tried a hard reset, but not luck.

  Any ideas?

  Thank you.  This process worked.  Please note: I added a step to outside between #1 and #2.  Before deleting the database of the calendar, I tried a one-way synchronization and appointments in calendar of device transferred to Outlook without problem.  If I had not done this, all my data calendar for 2009 would have already disappeared.  Would have taken it home Manual of all calendar data.
