Problems of Q10 of blackBerry with device on my Q10 software reloaded

I have had some performance issues with my Q10 and want to try to reload the software of the device again, and then restore just my data 'settings' (not 'Application Data' or 'Support').  I connect the device to my computer, he acknowledges, I click on the tab for my device, click on Preferences, click on "Reload Device Software", etc...  I confirmed the warning on all my data being deleted and then get invited to enter my device password.  All good with it, then he asks if the device with my PIN code is the device I want to reload to factory settings.  I confirm Yes.  I get a message saying that link BB is looking for software for device updated, and it is said that there is an update available.  I chose get the update.  Then I get a message on a component link BB should be updated.  I click on continue.  Then he said something on the download software BB Link, but after 10 seconds or more, he says something about "an error has occurred with the download software link BB, please try again."  The unit restarts and starts normally, as if I had not done something.  There is no error with this error code or anything.  I waited and tried again later.  I even rebooted my PC, but nothing works.  I tried to find out if I am still under the latest version of the BB link, and I am.  And on the device of message topic software find updated, if I click on "Update", it close just the window, restart the phone and it starts normally as if I had not done something.  Anyone know what is happening or what a solution would be?  It seems that there is no way for me to be able to reload my software for device right now.

    I put the last seven digits of my vin number in the search and downloaded the update to a USB plugged on the center console of my car. Once it was done I tried to connect and to my surprise my contacts list appeared. I pulled the top of Spotify and it played without screaming and cutting. I tried a phone call, and it worked as well. I want to test a little on my lunch hour but well again.

    Since my Q5 has updated to 10.3, the synchronization of calendar and contact with Outlook on Windows 8 2013 does not work properly. The synchronization works only Outlook to BB and does not BB to Outlook. Before update 10.3, it worked very well both ways.

    My Blackberry link is configured correctly for the two way synchronization between the device and the computer.

    Also, since my upgrade 10.3 Q5 icons on the BB are much smaller. They seems to be designed for a device with a larger screen. Is there a way to increase the size of the icons?

    I checked that and Outlook.com is not manipulating the third party email address. So that means that I still have to use my Outlook 2013.

    Based on your proposal, I'll have to 2013 Outlook to manage email on my PC, Outlook.com to synchronize contacts and calendar with my BB and Evernote to sync Notes. It must me an easier way...

    I tried already Office, but stopped because it's too slow on 10.3 and I don't like their UX. I think I'll be back with this solution. It can synchronize the calendar, Contacts, Notes and tasks.

    I got my Curve 8300 for about a month now and have had no problems with synchronization until today.  Some how my appointments Outlook have been removed, but they remain on my curve.  I tried different configurations of synchronization to transfer these data to my curve in Outlook.  After synchronization, the objects remain on my curve but are not available on Outlook.  If I manually enter an appointment on the curve, it syncs, but the other past and future appointments will not.

    I also tried a hard reset, but not luck.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you.  This process worked.  Please note: I added a step to outside between #1 and #2.  Before deleting the database of the calendar, I tried a one-way synchronization and appointments in calendar of device transferred to Outlook without problem.  If I had not done this, all my data calendar for 2009 would have already disappeared.  Would have taken it home Manual of all calendar data.

    I have weird problems my BB Bold 9700 to sync with my Outlook 2003 calendar on a Toshiba Portege laptop - would appreciate any advice.

    A synchronization via BB Desktop Manager (version 6). Everything was working fine until I changed my e-mail address, deleted my old account on the phone and put the new account.

    Emails sync mostly OK (via an IMAP server), although the strange remains on the phone, even when it is no longer on the server.

    However, the real problem I have is with the calendar. If I enter a new appointment in Outlook and sync, it appears on the phone without problem. But him Resync, it disappears from Outlook and rest on the phone. Appointments that were there before me changing e-mail sync fine and I can update these and change to stay after the synchronization. I can enter the appointments on the phone and they synchronize and stay. Frustrating!

    Have tried to reinstall Office Manager - no joy. Now consider nuking the phone as well and start again.

    Yes, you are on the right track!

    Most likely, what happened when you deleted your old e-mail account he had 62 calendar records. When the CICAL has been removed from this account calendar items had no association and have been moved to the device default calendar. The records are kept but don't will not sync up to what you associate with your carl@work account.

    Recently, I've migrated from the Blackberry Curve to the 9800.  Now I feel bad to send emails.  Text messages work fine, however, when I send emails (including myself), I get a a status icon next to the message displaying a box of red square with the letter "L", red in the middle.  The message does not get sent.  I don't know how to resolve this error, or what means this icon.

    Try a battery pull if you please, with the BlackBerry device powered on, remove the battery 15 seconds and then reinsert the battery to reboot the device. This clear all cache as restart and update the host Routing Table.

    Your old card SIM does support 3g? try to change the signal to 2g and see if it persists.

    This should be easy, but apparently not.  A few weeks I had to change my Google/Gmail password.  Since then, no email come on the Blackberry Hub; But, they do on the Gmail app.  When I go into settings for the Blackberry Hub for my gmail address, change the password, there is the incoming and outgoing server settings.  In each of them, it reflects the authentication as "signed with Google."  So, it should be associated with the new Google/Gmail password.  But no emails can come or go out of the hub.  Any suggestions?

    Hi all, ive had the 9320 for about a month now and this morning his deicded do not play all the sounds at all.

    Ive not changed no settings, ive also checked that I didn't cut the phone, using its model of normal sounds sound, I have been using this last month or so.

    Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

    It seems that all my emails arrive in code. Not sure if it's something to do with HTML or not.

    Stephen, you close your programs that you open with the bb menu key then scrollin down to close.

    The ESC key closes the programs, and that will keep your programs running.

    First of all, the device is released for more than a year and a half.  BlackBerry has put the information out there.  I easily found the information below with a quick Google search that brought up this article, KB33322

    While it has not yet been updated in order to take account of the last update for the link, I made a few minor changes to the instructions to join the same options in the new version of the link.

    Multimedia files stored on the internal memory of the device will be transferred if you check the box "Multimedia files stored on the internal memory."  Multimedia files stored under the content on the old appliance store will not.

    Here are the instructions:

    1. Connect the 10 BlackBerry smartphone to the computer via the USB cable.
    2. On the left side of the BlackBerry connection screen, click on the name of the smartphone BlackBerry 10.
    3. Select restore device > Legacy device backup files.
    4. Select the desired backup file.
    5. Select the data to be restored in the smartphone BlackBerry 10. To restore data to all supported, select the checkbox restore all data .  Choose the data to restore select Custom Restore.
      Note: for a description of data BlackBerry smartphone, refer to KB03974.
    6. Click restore.

    Your device, that's all that you can do the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

    (1) registry HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    (2) remove and return Service directories

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    (3) restart to take batt

    • With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes.     If this does not it, it's on the door-side (as they have told you), and unless you have a way to fight them, you must wait for them to solve. You can, of course, check your contract documentation to see if it is at any point in the required resolution that they must respect... that normally would require so some financial remedies to their users. I have no idea what your contract might say in this regard, however.

    I thought about it.  so I thought I'd post.  Apparently the BlackBerry pulled the 10.3.1.1565 update.  Anway don't know what happened over butI usng Shenshi and grabbing an update of another carrier, after that, so I'm now able to do a full restore using my old BBB file.
