Problems of replacement of Windows 8 with Windows 7 on a laptop HP 2000-bf69WM

I just bought a laptop HP 2000 - bf69WM during the Black Friday at Wal-Mart last night sale. This morning, I pulled and he went right to the trying to repair right out of the box. I managed to get him to stop and I went to system restore and managed to get it started. Needless to say, I'm not at all impressed with Windows 8. I've heard of all the problems users have had with it. I tried to install Windows 7 on it, but it will not be installed. The BIOS shows Windows 8 as the operating system. How can I dump this CRAP of Windows 8 and install Windows 7 on this computer. It is not a bad machine, I wouldn't get rid of him during another screw up Microsoft.

try to remove the disc of windows 7 on reboot and put it back in after the windows 7 logo too good luck finding the network always in trouble with drivers.

  • Can I insert a CD for a HP Deskjet F4500 (windows 7) on my laptop HP 2000 using windows 8?

When I put the CD in my Windows 8 machine it will not load.  Is it possible to do?  Your help is greatly appreciated.

    Hello

Probably the CD was born before Windows 8 is why he knows nothing about Windows 8. You can download the drivers from the following link:

For clean installation try to download Microsoft Media creation tool first. Using the tool, you can download a copy of the Win 8.1 installer. Save 8.1 only and not the PRO. During installation, the installation program does not the product key but it detect automatically your bios.

You will need to place the ssd instead of the original location of the hard drive to boot successfully.

  • problem using grayscale on psc 1110 with windows 7 64 bit

    Hello

I have a problem with my psc in 1110. Installed on my windows 7 64 bit laptop I can't print using grayscale. If I try to print certain types of documents they appear not printed correctly with the missing lines as if I try to print the colours of setting and lack them. Same problem does not exist if I use the printer for a normal copy using scanner without PC or if I use my printer with an old pc with windows XP. It's a driver issue!

On windows 7 using the HP print and scan doctor I obtein this: http://i.imgur.com/rHGQ56Y.jpg as a result then the software show this: http://i.imgur.com/4sSQRcj.jpg as a result. Grayscale is abset! Please note that I have no color ink.

    Suggestions?

    Hello

I solved this problem by using a virtual machine with linux mint. Now I can print all documents on grayscale without problems. Thank you HP which obliges me has used this boring solution.

  • With Windows XP Professional X 64 expire, what is the replacement? Windows 8 not compatible.

With Windows XP Professional X 64 expire, what is the replacement? Windows 8 not compatible.

With Windows XP Professional X 64 expire, what is the replacement? Windows 8 not compatible.

Windows XP 64-bit is one of those odd elements that does not quite fit in.  It is based on the code of Windows Server (hence why it only goes back to the SP2 not SP3 as Windows XP did) so it is - upgrade (for purchase in any case) options are limited.  Frankly - Windows XP 64-bit is one of these products, most people should have just skipped (in my opinion) - and with this in mind - the replacement for those running it should be to get Windows Vista 64 bit or Windows 7 64-bit or 64-bit Windows 8.  It there just will be no discount to do on monetary incentive plan.

My suggestion - if your system is good enough, compatible, etc. and you actually * needed * to upgrade (it's not like YOU all just because Microsoft will stop their support extended to it in 2014 - big deal?)  Download Windows 7 Professional 64-bit and clean install.  You can use the free Windows XP (32 bit) MOU to run many older programs, you have * if * you have one that cannot be run under Windows 7 or with the compatibility mode.

In addition - get an unknown computer (for you).  You can find a lease one or something with Windows 7 64-bit, probably for the same amount you'd pay for a version non - OEM Windows 7, pay a little more and you'll probably have a machine that could handle Windows 8 - If you wish.  ;-)

Thank you to contact Microsoft Community and we will be happy to help you with your concern.

According to the description, it looks like you are facing an Internet problem on the Windows 7 operating system.

It would be great if you can answer these questions to help you further.

    1. is the question confined with Mozilla Firefox?

2 are you able to access the same Web site using Internet Explorer?

    3. have you made changes on the computer before this problem?

4 are you facing this problem while accessing the secure Web site?

Problem with Internet Explorer, I would suggest trying the following methods and check.

    Method 1:

I suggest you add this particular website as a trusted site and check.

To add a Web site to a security zone: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Security-zones-adding-or-removing-websites

    Method 2:

I suggest you to see the steps in the following Microsoft article and check.

Can't access some Web sites in Internet Explorer: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/967897

You cannot connect to or connect to secure in Internet Explorer Web sites: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/813444

    Why can't I view some websites? http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-in/Windows7/why-cant-I-view-some-websites

Note: There are rather than Internet Explorer 9 as well.

Note: The feature reset the Internet Explorer settings can reset security settings or privacy settings that you have added to the list of Trusted Sites. Reset the Internet Explorer settings can also reset parental control settings. We recommend that you note these sites before you use the reset Internet Explorer settings.

    Method 3:

Internet Explorer not responding, stops working, or restarts: http://support.microsoft.com/gp/PC_IE_EnvManualID

Note: If the question is limited only with Mozilla Firefox, I suggest you to post the same question in the Mozilla Firefox's Support Forums.

  • A problem of time unusual Windows: time of Windows always comes back to the year 2005

    Specifications:

    Microsoft Windows XP Professional
    Version 2002
    Service Pack 3

    AMD Athlon XP 2700 +.

At the start, and sometimes even if the computer is running, the windows of time always comes back to the year 2005, while maintaining the right hour, minute, second, day and month.

I tried a number of solutions such as the "authoritative time server configuration", analysis of the computer for viruses and restarting the service of time via the command prompt, but without success. I am able to synchronize the time with a server, but only after the change of the year 2011.

My installation of Windows is updated regularly and I'm always connected to the internet. I'm pretty sure that this is not a BIOS problem I replaced the CMOS battery and have ensured that the BIOS time is correct.

In addition to the usual questions that arise in some programs due to an incorrect time, I noticed that when you use Firefox 4, the Google search engine always resets to "Instant Search" despite my having the clocks to the correct year.

    Any ideas?

If I read your messages, I have that, amongst other times, pick up this always happens at startup.  This is the case, you can first check that the time is set correctly in the BIOS before you boot into Windows.  If it is, and, as you think, a program is causing this problem so the task is to know which.  A lot of startup programs each time you start Windows.  The boot configuration with minimum nude of running processes is called "Safe Mode".  So start your computer Safe Mode (press F8 as your computer starts).  When he arrives, check the date and time.  If it of OK and has not changed, then one of the other optional components must be the cause.  To narrow down that one, you can use "msconfig" to toggle the startup items groups until you find the one that is causing your problem.  The procedure for doing this is described in this article:

"How to solve configuration errors by using the System Configuration utility in Windows XP"

I start by disabling everything in the "Startup" tab  If this solves the problem, then I start allowing things in this tab a little at a time until I have find the culprit. If the Startup tab does not resolve the problem, then I try disabling items in the tab "Services".  I usually start with non-Microsoft services.

Of course on the machine who recently had this problem, you could try a shotgun approach and do a simple "System Restore" to a point in time before this problem.  It will probably fix the problem, but you will not know what caused it.
