• URL opens only the first project in a box

  Hi all

  RoboHelp Server 8 and RoboHelp 8

  I'm about to have our developers redirect our online help on HR server instead where it is currently kept.  I am interested in the use of the shortened URL:

  http://<server-name>/robohelp/server?prj=<project-name>&area=<area-name>
  

  I have two projects in each region.  When I test the URL for the first project in a region, he worked successfully.  However, when I test the URL for the second project in the same area, it only re - opens the first project.  For example:

  http://help.acme.com/RoboHelp/Server?PRJ=Project1 & Area = Area1

  http://help.acme.com/RoboHelp/Server?PRJ=Project2 & Area = Area1

  When I click Project1, it opens and correctly draws the right help.  By clicking the second URL, Open Project1 instead of Project2 as it is supposed to.

  It's as if he only reads the first project in a box.  Is - this problem somewhere?  Flushing DNS and clearing history does nothing.

  Someone please tell me the obvious error, I do not know I do.

  OK, I think I have a solution to your problem. It seems that the issue is with the underscore in the names of your project. If you remove them, you will be OK for both projects in the same area. Just rename your project in RoboHelp and republish. You need to remove old projects to the Web administrator however.

  Instead of filling & signature, tool, use the text comment comment tool, KB doc option. using comments in the PDF, Adobe Acrobat DC files (keyword: Add a text comment).

• How can I stop the Captivate adding in text boxes / tone clear when I film a project?

  Morning/afternoon

  Whenever I have a new Captivate 4 adds project always in the additional text boxes with 'Click on OK button' and 'Opens a window setting' and also adds in the film's point culminating own boxes.  How to disable this option?  It's not so much of a problem that I have to go in and edit each screen anyway, but I was wondering if there was a way to stop appearing in the first place.

  This by changing recording preferences.

  Click on Edit > Preferences > recording > Modes and choose one of the modes. Demonstration seems a likely choice.

• PSE Organizer 12 crashes constantly after the film project in first 12

  I have PSE 12 time Organizer and first. I finished a film project after all first programme of work up to a slide show in the Organizer, but when I tried to burn my dvd does not recognize my burner (which is HL-DT-ST GH24NS50 SC if of LG) so I burned in a folder. Then I tried to burn with Windows DVD maker and burner of Wondershare video which none recognized the files containing the titles of movies & scene intro-s. A 2nd problem has also developed during the process of completion of the project. Now my PSE Organizer crashes as soon as it loads the media, so I am now virtually locked out of my photos. The only new files added to the organizer since I started this project are those who come first i.e. stories etc. Can anyone suggest a way to fix these problems. Thank you

  Thank you for your response. I downloaded Image burn but have not yet had the opportunity to try it. I'll try it out tomorrow so to try to get the first to recognize my drive that is faster and up to date.

  My computer is a computer of Windows 7 64 bit with 8 GB of RAM and loads of free disk space. I suspect my programs are still the original 12 version, but I tried to invoke any update in the past. It seems that they must not have worked.

  On the problem of the Organizer, I deleted the psa.prf file you suggested but who could not make all the difference: the program quits immediately after its launch. It is still not open long enough for me to create a new catalog.

  You have any other suggestions? And thanks again for your help so far.

  My 7(464Bit) Windows Ultimate and its base language, and the language is English.

  The built-in languages (English, French and Arabic) (re-uploaded and re-installed came by the person making the installation of Windows disk). So, during the installation of Windows 7, these three language listed for me to choose one of them to be the base language and display the language, I choose 'English'. At the end of the installation, there are pre-packaged trilingual (French, English and Arabic) can be used as a display language.

  I wish a good want to confirm for me why I was confronted with these problems when changing the language for non-Unicode from English to Arabic programs.

  First: After I installed the AMD graphics driver high definition (sp55092) 8.882.2.3000 on my laptop. The content of the of Intel Graphics and Media Control Panel are partially shown in Arabic while the language of the non-Unicode programs is Arab, however, they appear completely in English and the language of the non-Unicode programs is English.

  A: I found that content from the Intel Graphics and Media Control Panel are displayed partially in Arabic second screenshot below, however, when click on options, for example "graphic properties" in Arabic, the second window appears in English) while the language of the non-Unicode programs is Arabic, and it doesn't matter what format or location is.

  I saw your post about language issues, and I'll be happy to help you. What you are experience with languages is normal. The base operating system is in English, and while you can change the display language at the heart of the core of the operating system would be in English.

  The reason why the Intel graphics and Media Control Panel is in English and the rest in Arabic because the driver would have been designed in English and is coded in the driver, but the display language is set to Arabic hard. Thus, when the language is set to English everything will be in English.

  You have issues pilots extraction when you attached to the language English is because the HP site will determine where in the world you and when you download the driver it will be the language appropriate to the country, you are. So when he extracted it will look appropriate with the help of Arabic extraction path but everything is in English.   For the text box in the attached screenshot, it gives me back clipping limits like X:174, Y:175, W:246, H:470. However, you can see in the screenshot the text block itself is X:174, Y:190, W:246, H:454

  The values I'm getting seem to correspond to the scope of the selection highlight if I have the highlighted text.

  I have yet to find all values / combination of the values the text-related interfaces that will allow me to directly get (or replace) rect real framework, as illustrated by InDesign.

  Anyone know how to do in this regard?

• How can I change the size of a text box without moving boxes?

  This is my problem:

  Regularly, I have several text boxes in a row area and need to extend the boxes to display all the text. I used the direct Selection tool to select all the boxes and then use the Middle bounding box handle to drag the boxes longer. When I do this the position of the box moves as well. If I type a number for the height of the boxes, it extends the type.

  How can I make the boxes more time to show all the text without moving the boxes?

  I use Illustrator CC2015 on Windows 7.

  OK, I see now, this is happening to me also. But on a much smaller scale, so did not notice. My Y was pt 178. After scale if has 179.247

• restrict the issue of characters text box

  I am relatively new to Flash programming, and I'm having a problem where all the text boxes will allow only characters 2,3 and 4 to enter. They were put in place with the .restrict = "0-9" to allow all the numbers.  I even created a test text box, and that has the same problem.  Is there something I'm missing, which is the cause?  I use Flash Pro CS6 on a Windows XP computer.

  Usually, when characters do not appear in a textfield it means police must be integrated into the TextField.  If the textfield on the stage, select it and in the properties panel, click the Embed button and choose the font/characters you want to use for the textfield object.

• How is it possible for the content of all annotations to the output file or text box?

  I try to get the content of all annotations (except accessories) within a PDF file. Creation of the Javascript code to enumerate all annotations in the document is not a problem. I am puzzled as to how I can save the output in a text file unicode (preferable to a file selected by the user name) or place it in a form textbox in a dialog so that the user can copy to the Clipboard. As far as I understand, it is possible to generate a new PDF with the release, but I would like that the code also works in Adobe Reader.

  You cannot write to a file with the player. You can with Acrobat with certain restrictions, using data, which are attached objects. What is possible is documented in the Acrobat JavaScript reference.

• The multiplication within a text box...

  Hey all!

  Currently I am developing a mini-test within a project (Action Scipt 2) I created and could use some help.

  Basically, it's a multiple-choice test/questionnaire which adds 1 point to a text box (which will be the number 0 in it to start) If a wrong answer is selected.

  Example:

  Question 1 Total: 0

  (a) answer 1

  (b) answer 2

  (c) answer 3

  (d) answer 4

  Say so the answer 3 is the right answer, when you click on it it will go to the next question/framework. But if a, b, or d is clicked, I need to show some kind of 'Wrong' meesage (which will be a text box), display the 'NEXT' button (which is not visible/clickable until an answer is selected) to go to the next question/framework and add 1 to the box 'Total', at the same time.

  There will be a total of 3 sets of 20 questions (60 questions in total) and at the end of 3 rounds, if the user ends up with say 20 in the "Total" box, 5 points will be automatically deducted leaving it with a total of 15 (5 points subtracted is sort of a bonus at the end). Thus, on frame of 60 for example (the last picture), he would says the box 'Total' to subtract 5 by the end number of code. If the total is greater than 0, it will go to a certain range, and if the total is 0, it will go to a different image.

  Who is? Any ideas? I do it too hard... is there an easier way?

• How can I activate the spell for a text box that is just a line, for example submitted by e-mail?

  In an earlier version of Firefox, I found a site somewhere that told me what to do to turn on spell checking for text boxes that are just a line. I'm used to be able to send an e-mail with a subject that was not a misspelling. Now, it does not work. Please tell me how I can activate it once again. I'm on a Mac using Firefox 6.0.2. Thank you!

• Overview of the disabled scale/resize text box

  Usually, when I scale or resize a text box, it will turn into direct, giving me a glimpse of what the text will look like if I let go of the mouse, now if I resized a text box that is exactly the same until I let go of the mouse, how it move to its new position. It is very difficult to explain, and I can't really give an example image. I'm sure it's a very simple solution, I think I just need to check a box somewhere.
