  Try adding a blank line between the "Content-Type: text/html" line and your actual payload data. It seems that the system expects all the headers to be included in the estate, then a space, then the payload.

• Problem with e-mail notifications

  We are experiencing some problems with notifications.

  Nobody in our company receives any updates trough email, although everyone has notifications and collections of e-mail activated.

  Is there a problem with emails, or do we need to configure anything else to turn the notifications?

  If all members of your community has problems with notifications, it can be a problem with your e-mail filters. Did you check unnecessary folders to ensure that emails are not stuck there? You may need to apply for leave IT '[email protected]' then these emails are blocked.

  BIS is a public Service to push when you use the Internet of RIM infrastructure

  BES is the Push Service of the company where you are hosting your own BES server.

• problem with screen push and pop

  My problem is that when I click on the next button it will change from first page to the second page,

  even then again go to second page to page 3.

  now when I click on the "back" button, it will come on the second page of return and once again when I press on it will come on first page.

  but the problem is that now, if I click on the next button it go directly to the page fourth instead of second page.

• Problem with creating user Notifications / change user password

  I'm having a problem send emails to users when an account is created in the IOM.
  
  I've added a notification to the user and Manager of the user on the task to create a user in the definition of user Xellerate process but emails are not sent.
  I know that if I create another task in order to send emails and call it through the answer in the task of creating a user, it will work.
  My purpose is to avoid adding tasks for something IOM should be able to OOTB.
  
  I'm also unable to send an email when a password is updated... I did the same thing for the user to create and I know that the task (change user password) is called by looking at newspapers, but emails are not being sent.
  
  Has anyone encountered this kind of problems?
  I'm having these problems in the task of user Xellerate process... I've added notifications to other process tasks (mostly tasks for approval) and that they are working correctly.

  I ran into several question all about change the default behaviors of the user Xellerate object and the process. The Xellerate object and the process have additional built in secuity to prevent users from accedentily their spoil, so when you make changes as you try to do that they do not work. I have a few SRs open on this, because I have a customer who would like to have sent notifications when new users are created by IOM. As a work-around, I drive offshore the purpose of user AD resource notifications because each IOM user automatically gets an ad and Exchange account.

• Moto G4 - push notifications to stop functioning when the phone is idle / inactive

  Hello!

  I have a very annoying problem with my G4 bike purchased in the UK.

  Problem:

  My push notification comes to app and gmail to stop working when the phone is idle / inactive.

  When I use any application or when I put just the phone side push notifications work fine. They appear on the lock screen and beep.

  After a few minutes of not using the phone, the message to stop the spread. The sender indicates that a tick and the Moto G4 does not show notifications of type push until the phone is activated and unlocked. It is very annoying, because I already missed several attempts to call. This problem occurs with the Wifi or data plan. It is not a What'sApp of settings as it works very well for a while.

  Text messages and phone calls work well, just a data plan seems to go off when idling and never come back until unlocked (even then it takes a while). WiFi seems somehow to maintain a connection.

  I tried:

  • change What settings the sApp
  • disconnection/connection gmail account
  • remove the operating system of the device cache
  • disable the whats of ap battery saving options and all services appear to be relevant
  • WiFi seems somehow to keep the phone, but only data stops immediately, sending fn when idle
  • Restart in safe mode-> the same problem with meeting places. WiFi seems to work, data plan do not when idling

  Is this a known issue? Everyone knows the problem? To me, it seems that the camera seems to move from the internet and do not reactivate until this that unlocked.

  It seems to work now after clicking: 'Reset the settings App' in the top menu right in "parameters - apps-> gear-> battery optimization"!

  I haven't seen this solution anywhere else. I did the reset done only because I tried to disable optimization for almost all applications gradually. Without success, I clicked on 'Reset the settings App' and suddenly push notification for all work! Yes!

  2 attempted to use javascript to POST XMLHttpRequest in a page on the same server. The result was:
  XMLHttpRequest does not load https://cpxxxx.pushapi.eval.blackberry.com/mss/PD_pushRequest. No "Access-Control-Allow-Origin" header is present on the requested resource. So, the original 'http://my_server_address' is not allowed access.

  3. I used the same code XMLHttpRequest in webworks launched from z10 camera app (the code can be found here - https://github.com/blackberry/BB10-WebWorks-Samples/tree/master/pushCaptureBasics/pushInitiator) and

• Renewal of certificates/Push Notifications

  Can someone please help me understand the process of renewal of my Apple certs & push notification files? More precisely:

  1 Apple warn me when a cert needs to be renewed? Can I do that before it becomes due?

  2. what happens if a cert expires? My application doesn't work anymore?

  3 do I need reconstruction/new submission to Apple my app via the App Builder for updating my CERT or is it possible to update just the CERT Apple Portal?

  1. No, Apple didn't send notification. If your hundred p12 dev and dist expire, your application will be rejected at some point in the submission process - I don't remember when. It might be by building the app. If you don't update your application, do not import expired certs dev and dist. Users can always use your application as before. You can even submit an application with expired certificates push and your application will work well - with the exception of push, of course.

  2. the application of the distribution in the store and on devices of users will still work if the distribution p12 has expired, but you will need to update the cert before introduce you a new version of the app. It is my understanding. A production push expired cert affects only push them himself. If your push cert is expired, you will get an error message when you click on warn. Users can still subscribe, download and see the articles independently of push, but they don't get badges or background downloads.

  3. If your dev and dist p12 CERT is expired, just update before submitting a new version. You don't need to rush to do it. For the cert to push p12, I don't think that you must resubmit the application. I think that if you revoke it and rebuild the CERT to push, the change is saved with Apple, and you can click Notify without error. I'll test it soon.

• Problem with push the screen of an application

  I developed an application with another point of entry. I have the main GUI application and an application that listens for push notifications. The background listener auto starts when the unit is turned on and tuned to push. When it receives the push message, it displays a popupscreen with the options 'launch' and 'Cancel '. By pressing 'start' should open the graphical application by pressing the main screen of the application. However, I get "ClassCastException" and I have no idea why.

  I looked around and the process is similar to what I did, but somehow, it does not work for me. Can someone explain or show me how to push a background application screen?

  I guess as you push a display context global [and maybe modal] 'launch' and 'Cancel' buttons. When you press 'start', then, you should not just push a screen - you should actually run the main application!

  To do this, you must create an application with the appropriate settings and say ApplicationManager descriptor to run it. Take a look at the documentation ApplicationManager, especially the section "running an application with different arguments. Make sure the arguments are according to the needs of your main application, not the bottom one.

  Only one problem: what happens if your application is already running but reduced? Don't worry - you try to run the same application with the same arguments will activate one already running!

• Problems with latest updates Windows (KB) do not install & repeated notifications via the taskbar icon

  Hello everyone,

  In my view, there are many people who seem to have a similar problem to mine, although I was unable to find an answer to one of my questions in this post.

  Description of the problem:

  Although my Windows Update is defined on download & install updates during the night hours every day, the latest updates, KB26333880, KB2572073and KB2518864 are not be installed.  I went to the Windows Update site to check my editing history.  He showed the green/white checkmarks next to all 3 updates.  The record also showed that updates have been tempted 3 times during the night.  After clicking on the button "Express" on the Home Page, the results show 3 above updates, but show "0 bytes', then '0 download time. '

  To me, this indicates that there is no update to download, despite the yellow Shield of Notification of update continues to appear in the taskbar.

  Corrective measures attempted:

  1. I tried to download / install twice unsuccessfully using IE8 and FF (including restarting the computer).

  2. download & run the program MS Fixitattempted, but received a message which read, "an unexpected error has occurred, please try again later." No. error code has seen with this message.  (I could RECORD the program on my desktop... just couldn't run the establishment).

  3 tried to search for the presence of these updates using start > run > %windir%KB###.log (where the # is the individual number of update KB).  Every time - a message appears indicating that the file is not found.

  4 looked at the Add/Remove Programs list (with the Show updates checkbox checked).  No updates KB mentioned above could be found.

  5 with SAS, MBAMand Outpost Security Suite Pro scans revealed no malware/security issues.  (SAS and MBAM are used only as scanners on request).

  This problem with the updates does not download & repeated notifications being indicated in the taskbar has occurred many times before.  On this occasion, I called Microsoft several times before finally, my computer remotely accessible support person and spent about 50 minutes to fix the problem.

  (Also, it is noted that almost every support person I spoke with has always tried to tell me that MS is not help with the problem of this type.)  I had to be rather several in my reply... tell the person that MS IS in fact provide assistance free security-related Windows updates.  They now provide free assistance is unknown). Besides... I have more a phone number for States anyway.

  My questions to the community:

  1. is it possible to download & install these 3 updates?

  2 is there an explanation as to why MS Fixit program will not be installed, and if so, are there certain corrective measures I can take which will allow me to download & run this program?

• How to make the push notification as APN (notification of transmission of apple) with Blackberry API

  I want to know how to get push notification as we APN. I found a demo in the code example of RIM named "httppushdemo" with the server and client code.

  It works this way,

  My custom server (java servlet) push a few data for some static ip (on MDS with given port), on my desk and the BB device receive the MDS data, where my blackberry MDS Simulator is on. So in this case I got direct push notification when the application is activated.

  Flow for Simulator is so as:

  Server customized---> MDS (with specific ipadrees / port)<-------------- >

  (do)                                                              (receive the push)

  But my question is that, in the event of a real device, I have MDS to push the text to the specific ip address.  I have MDS in my device itself. So from where custom server I need to push the text?

  Direct to device? if yes then please tell me where I can change my bb device ip address. ?

  The AFN is similar to the notion of PPG in BlackBarry who is world BES MDS or Service of Push BlackBerry World BIS. Http you post your button to one of the PPG and it routes the message to the device for you.

  Keep in mind when you push user push BIS and BES that push you to the device with address e-mail or a PIN that you can push only per SPINDLE.

• Not able to receive a Push Notification with App ID: 4531-* a76s4

  I used this App ID to test Push notifications for my sample Application,

  can I use the same ID App for multiple Applications to receive Push Notifications,

  because I can't register a new ID app for my other applications,

  Please suggest on this.

  Credentials EVAL, you can use the same credentials to push without much concern.

  However in general for PROD you wish to push single credential by application to avoid accidentally sending a big boost for an application to several applications. And since you want to PROD unique credentials for each application (except if you share them grows) then you can go as well with unique EVAL references as well.

  Why are you unable to save of new credentials to push for your second app?
