The rest of society has access view.  When I go to add an event on the public calendar it comes up with one the public mailbox as a guest of the meeting and not let me add directly to the calendar as an entry as I would on my personal calendar.  What is going on?  The meeting is added to my personal calendar, but never shows on the public agenda.  I have both selected calendars and I see on the public calendar a message explaining that it woucl will not be updated.  Any ideas how I can fix this problem is normal function for a shared calendar.
