• How to solve problems with cs6

  I bought the main cs6 collection and its been fine on my mac OS X Lion but recently, I had to download the new OS X Yosemite and since then I had problems with my programs. I use Photoshop CS6 most and now its been so hard to work because hot keyboard shortcuts do not work the half of the time and other things did work on the program almost impossible. I don't know if I need to re - download programs or what.

  Have you installed the WhiteWindowWorkaround plugin to work around several known issues in Mac OS?

  I am a recent graduate of product design that uses Adobe University packages (photoshop cs4, illustrator cs4, indesign cs4) and now that I have left, I'm about to buy the new version of InDesign CS6. Before I bought it, I decided to download the trial version to make sure it works all.

  Unfortunately, many features are not available to me:

  • the selection and direct Selection tools wont let me click on it - impossible to resize objects or click on the different images
  • everything on the side windows to the right (paragraph pages, shades, colors ect.) doesn't seem to work. They are visible, but when I select one of them, it won't let me click on anything whatsoever on the Panel, which means that I can not add new pages of the document, I can't change the colors, shapes or anything like that.

  Very annoying, because I only have two days of my trial left to sort the problem out, or he's looking for little probable that I will buy the full version.

  Specification of the laptop:

  Reference Dell xpz 15z (bought in 2012), processor Intel core i7, 8 GB of RAM, 1 TB HDD, Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

• Problems with CS6 Master Collection (invalid checksum) disk image

  I have problems to download the trial for CS6 Master Collection for Mac OS X.

  I tried download using the Download Assistant, as a privileged environment and a non privileged user and have also tried direct download as a privileged and unprivileged. Every time that I waited until the download is complete before installation, but every time the disk image opens, denouncing a "invalid checksum".

  I tried to mount the disk image without validating the checksum, but so that I can then run the installer, the installation fails due to the absence of privileges - once again, it comes to regardsless of the privileges of the user. I also tried to delete the preferences and cache for Download Wizard files, but nothing helped.

  Can anyone confirm that the English version of CS6 collection master disk image works and can be installed without error on Mac OS X 10.7? Now, I downloaded and re-downloaded the image disk at least eight times, and while I have a fast Internet connection, it becomes tedious.

  I just downloaded the DMG on Adobe.com, using the test, and it fits very well. I was able to start the installation.

  I don't have a checksum error or other error.

  If the download was completed in Adobe Download Assistant, you can temporarily turn off the feature to check the checksum.  The following steps will allow you to temporarily disable this feature:

  1. Open the disk located in Applications/Utilities utility
  2. Go into the menu of disk utility and select Preferences
  3. Deselect the option to verify checksums
  4. Try to mount your DMG file

  I would recommend turn this feature back on however once installation is complete.  Also, if you notice what's happening on the additional files it may indicate a problem with your Internet connection.

  You could try these steps and let us know if you were able to move forward.

• Problems with CS6 + Youtube

  I have a big problem. I bought CS6 in order to be able to freely change my game of youtube videos to add a simple watermark, overlay and the fade in/out odd titles... For some reason, CS6 when I finally finished that it kills the quality (completely), adds a border and a product more to have time to be in a format that is not downloadable. My start files are filmed with Bandicam and exit at .avi files 700 x 480 with MJPEG codec video and PCM audio codec. These work perfectly and easy download, but add a simple title which vanishes and a minor fade at the end translates who need of 13 + hours to export to AVI format (again with somehow lower quality despite clicking on options for high reolution) and with obviously changed codecs cause they usually download... I am cropping the image to remove the border and who seems just add even more time, for something that shouldn't be there in the first place, honestly, what can be done about it? I am now 3 days late on the set since I bought CS6 because it maintains butcher my videos.

  Step 1. I created a sequence using square pixels with a 848 X 480 image size. I imported a file HDV - just something stupid. An alligator wrestler tickle an alligator at Gatorland in Florida.

  The video has some moves. It's not a game, of course, but I thought that the straight lines of the railing could improve the test.

  Step 2. I put the HDV file on the sequence keeping the sequence settings.

  Step 3. Then I exported the original file in order to see how it looks like on YouTube. This video #1

  Step 4. Then I put the logo of Isaac on top and it has exported to YouTube exactly the same way. This is the video #2.

  Step 5. Then I played the video in the full quality program monitor, and 100% of the scale so I recorded the reading with the same software Isaac uses only mine has a watermark. I recorded using MJPEG, even if I would have probably used Lagarith - but MJPEG is as Isaac and that is the purpose of all this.

  This is video #3. He is not shown directly, but will be available on my site for those who are truly in need. But they are easy to create for yourself.

  Step 6. Can I put a logo on the video and captured as video #4.  Also not posted on YouTube.

  Step 7. I put the video n ° 3 on the Premiere Pro timeline and it has exported to YouTube. This is the video real reference for the next step. It's video #5.

  You will want to use the great YouTube Player, not the small player, and it does little good to make it full screen since most computers not top of the line very well. Although the degradation is not all that horrible on my monitors.

  The black lines on the sides are minimal and are bothersome if you look for them - or so it seems. I think that it is a function of the great player, but I can't swear to it.

• Problem with cs6 and alpha channel

  I upgraded from 5.0 to 6.0 CS cs Production.  I have several commercails with links to AE.mov files with alpha (codec animation million +).  I did this for more than 10 years, so this should be pretty basic.

  Cs6.0 documents do not take into account of alpha.  CS5.0 sees the fine.  I re - importing .mov files, reinterpreted the files (ignore alpha offshore) and rebooted the machine.

  I tried to install the 6.01 update, and the update could not be installed.

  Any have any ideas on body CS6.0 don't know why alpha in my publishing channels?  iMac i7, 3.4 12 GB of ram, OSX 10.7.4.

  I converted just of CS5 at CS6.  Files that work in CS5 are no longer works.  CS6 seems to skip a lot of alpha channels.

  I tried to re - import a film - image (ignore alpha offshore) interpretation and update to Cs6.01, but the update will fail with Error Code: U44M1I200.

  This is an iMac i7 3.4, 12 GB of RAM, OSx10.7.4

• Problem with CS6 Master collection on iMac

  Hello.

  Setup for CS6 Master Collection (Licensing) will not accept the serial number on an iMac

  I run adobe cleaner and erased all Adobe products on the mac.

  I run ONYX and fixed everything that he could set permissions etc. re and HD problems (none)

  The version of the OS is 10.6.8 and latest updates of yesterday.

  The installation and serial No. work very well on all other Mac 19 same configuration

• Recurring problem with CS6 Crop / blur

  Do you have a minute?  Super!  Try this.

  Open the image with a few details down to the right.  Create a duplicate layer.  Choose the crop tool.  Check that the option 'Remove Pixels cropped' in NOT checked.

  Take the corner of harvest in the lower right of your image and move diagonally inward a little.  Confirm the harvest.

  Download the blur tool, the size of your broad brush and brush the lower right part of your image.  Let your brush go beyond the borders of your image.

  Well, when your image is obviously garbled, switch to the tool move, retrieve your image and move it upwards and to the left some of the streets you cropped on.

  Ta-da!  Isn't this pretty?  It only occurs with the blur tool.  Try to use the tool of engraving or dodge, and this happens.

  I reported this when I was playing with beta CS6.  Looks like it would be fixed now.

  Good to know your questions get more attention this time. I found the post on the long loading time and I see that you have Chris Cox on the case (it is one of the Photoshop engineers). I can't find the file temp of 4 GB, but I can tell you this: when you launch Photoshop, it creates a temporary file called the drive working. The size of the scratch disk is exactly equal to the value of the use of the memory (RAM allocation) in preferences > performance. If this parameter is 4 GB, the drive of your work will be 4 GB.
