• I need help with a problem of sensor horizontal banding in newly purchased a6000

  I recently bought an a6000 mail from B & H. I see horizontal visible bands anywhere in the frame, with normal photographs, nothing of multiple transformations. Now, I've seen many boards of Directors that it is a known problem. How Sony can sell such a defective product? I saw that Sony service says there is a problem with all CMOS sensors, but I have to many digital cameras, which the last - a RX 100 m4 and nothing ever seen before. How to get a repair or a refund, or a person to fix this problem? FWIW, I've been a professional photographer for more than 30 years. So far, I had the greatest respect for Sony, after using their products to deliver for decades. You've now lost my respect.

• A6000 SD card write speed?

  What is the write speed maximum of internal A6000s... one of my friends offered to buy my current card at almost full prices. But there is no reason to upgrade if im already at maximum speed cameras (an example would be the Canon 5 d M3, which cannot write to SD card with about 45 MB/S)

  So, what is the write speed from MAX SDcard of the Sony (Ilçe-6000) a6000? is it not able to take advantage of a 280 MB/s of sandisk card?

  You can not buy a SD card that will not work in an A6000. If the card you get is capable of speeds of reading/writing that cannot the A6000, the A6000 can still use the card, and your next camera may be able to take advantage of the extra speed.

  In other words, which are always slower, either the camera or the card, which will be the limiting factor, which is ok, and if the card can run faster than the camera can manage, they still work together. And if the device can run faster than the card, the camera will slow down until no matter what the speed, the card can handle.

  Then buy the fastest card you can get and if your A6000 cannot take advantage of the extra speed, he can still use it, and maybe your A6000M2 will be able to use the extra speed.

  I don't know if the focus and recompose work for my A6000.

  Here are my settings:

  AF w/shutter OFF

  Pre - AF OFF

  AEL w/shutter OFF

  AF-AEL button on

  My sequence:

  1. press the AEL button to focus on a subject by using the central development area

  2. release the focus of the "back" button

  3 recompose to follow the rule of thirds

  4. press the shutter button to take the picture.

  The subject is not to the point when I recompose.

  However, if I just developed and click on without redial, the subject is net.

  Has anyone tried focus and recompose using A6000? Maybe, I have a faulty camera that I need to send it back to Sony for repair.

  Welcome to the community of Sony!

  Based on your post, you use the AEL button to lock focus on your subject and then recompose the shot. The rule of thirds, I guess when you crop the picture, you're shooting the subject out of the center of the image. And if yes, then I suggest changing your focus area -wide or area. This lets focus you on the subjects or those who are in a different area on the frame. I also suggest changing the mode of development according to the movement of your subject. It is preferable to use AF - S with the emphasis of the "back" button when your subject is motionless.

  This is a setting in Flickr, not your camera.

  You can adjust the default settings for these parameters by going to your account page, by clicking on the Privacy & permissions tab and scroll to the default values for the new downloads section.

  Please follow the steps below and check if the settings are correct or not:

  Yes it will work for sure... I use a memory card 16 GB class 10 Samsung in my a6000 more too and it works perfect... Let me tell you that you will never want to go back to class 6 or 4 cards of memory after the experience of class 10

  Why there is no unread count on A6000 icons?

  I do not have an A6000 with me but I don't think that there is counting unread on the icons in the default Launcher. You may need to use 3rd party of PlayStore for it applications.
