  Hello

  I have display problems general with all types of chart, graph or plot that I try to use, on two different machines, both with NVIDIA graphics cards.  A machine is a MacBook under XP SP2 in bootcamp and the other a Dell T3400 workstation (or something similar) under XP SP3.

  I posted this thread earlier which Ben replies to the weird graphic behavior.  Ben suggested that I try to simplify my code as much as possible while keeping the bad behavior and by submitting to the NC and the forum, because it is others have had problems of graph.  I tried, but in vain.  Display problem continues and continues and continues and then they just go and I can't get back by unscrewing the last stage of reduction or simplification of code.  But at some point during the reconstruction of the code, which I cannot determine, returns the bad behavior.

  So, I was set up with graphics looking for shit, until recently, when I thought I'd try some suggestions of other messages to a XY-plot function as a graph by creating a buffer and using nodes of ownership of land for the range control.  Things seemed promising, until my "XY table" started getting shit, too.  This time, the issue was with the grid lines becomes all chopped, attached images.

  I am out of resources here.  I think I'm running out of options to display graphic data in an acceptable manner.  Do I have to display data by using an Excel chart in an ActiveX container in Labview?  I'm not skilled enough to do it again.  I like Labview, it is the only programming language that I am competent even remotely help, but it's just inferiorating.

  is there a particular reason why you use the bar plots - view superior graphic style? Try activating the legend of the plot, go to the bar plots and select the first track of the Bar Style. Your chart is displayed very well after that.

  When I execute the proc_1 then he throws me error of data type incosistent while to fetch the v_c_ref_cursor of cursor in the v_tt_table variable.

  The projection of SQL must be an object of type ot_test_type for extraction in bulk work.

  Your projection of SQL look like this:
  cursor c1 is select object_name from user_objects;

  object_name is a string - it is not of type ot_test_type.

  You must change the projection to return ot_test_type. This is done by using the default constructor for that type of object.

  For example
  cursor c1 is ot_test_type (object_name) select as the user_objects OBJECT;

  The latest version of the Adobe Spry 1.6.1 Framework it is the same version that ships with Dreamweaver CS4. If you are using Dreamweaver CS3 (uses Spry 1.4), its wise to upgrade your files to the latest version. This can be easily done by using Updater Spry who can be found here.

• I have a problem with finding a PnP USB audio device when you search for available audio devices.

  I am building an application that can find a PnP USB audio device and play a tone if the device is connected. I am able to search audio devices using "Sound Device Info.vi" of the lvsound2.llb that comes with labview.

  The vi can find the USB device in good conditions, but there are problems - I'll try to describe 2 scenarios.

  1. the USB device is connected before 'Sound Device Info.vi' is called for the first time.

  In this case, the program can find the USB device. If I unplug it, the device disappears from the list of found audio devices. If I reconnect to the same USB port, it reappears in the list. It's all good.

  If I reconnect it however a new USB port, the device is not found. This is not good.

  2. the USB devices is not connected when 'Sound Device Info.vi' is called for the first time.

  "Sound Device Info.vi" is not able to find the device. Disconnect and reconnect does not make a difference.

  I'm under labview 2012 on windows 7.

  I am running the application as an exe to build.

  I call 'Sound Device Info.vi' as a 'call for reference"and the reference is closed between calls to the vi. I was hoping this would unload the dll used in "Sound Device Info.vi" and would solve the problem, but it didn't.

  Is there a way to reset the information usb labview during execution?

  The sounds screws require a DLL located in:

  C:\Program Files (x 86) \National Instruments\LabVIEW 2012\resource\lvsound2.dll

  Internally, LabVIEW uses the DirectX API to enumerate devices. The one caveat is that probe us for devices when loading the DLL. We probe not later. So that it works for Bluetooth, USB, fire wire, etc. devices that can be inserted or removed at any time, you control somehow when this DLL charge and discharge.   First thing: almost always if a SQL statement uses variable data, use a PreparedStatement. With the help of a simple statement can, at first, most obvious glance, but it will cause endless problems.

  The constant strings in SQL are "single quotes" i.e. apostrophes. They must at least cannot escape string constants.   This question has been around for three years without any company, address. In a common home theater setup, I have my geforce 650 connected to my TV via HDMI, and my TV is used as a relay to my receiver via an optical connection 5.1.

  Now, if I use my Xbox 360 in exactly the same setup, I can simply force the 360 to output 5.1 despite being inherently stereo TV sound. However, Windows (with the geForce card) only detects the audio setup of your TV EDID and allow only native stereo output.

  The fix to play media using a third-party player (think VLC) to manually select audio output; However, this does not have any other way to get audio, such as games or internet streaming.

  A simple option to choose out of I want advanced would be greatly useful in sound options instead of force to choose only a possibly erroneous detection.

• EID Studio 3.1 double problem with data type in view

  I had a view work EID Studio 3.0 and it imported to the 3.1. The first thing I did was add the FROM clause, but I get validation errors. Questions (so far) seem to be defined as a mdex:double in my metadata fields. My definition of metadata for RESOURCE_QUANTITY is as follows:

  RESOURCE_QUANTITY, quantity,mdex:double, COMP, default

  The first question I have is in my WHERE clause:

  RESOURCE_QUANTITY <>0.0 OR RESOURCE_AMOUNT <>0.0

  gives the following error: a WHERE clause: can't compare mdex:double - set and mdex:double

  I have remove the WHERE clause for the moment and try to validate and get this matter in my SELECT clause:

  SELECT SUM (RESOURCE_QUANTITY) AS QuantitySum

  gives the following error: in the computer attribute 'QuantitySum': 'SUM' is not a valid library on types (mdex:double - set) function

  What is mdex:double - value and how this field get defined in this way?

  Hi Lily,

  I think we'll see a lot of variations on this issue in the next two weeks.  The attributes handling multiple assign has been totally redesigned OEID 3.1.  So, if you have an attribute that is listed as that can have multiple values, it is declared as a set of values (couble-set) rather than a single value (double)

  For example, if RESOURCE_QUANTITY is really unique-assign (and it is declared as multi - attribute by mistake), you can just reload the data via a base line to solve the problem.  If it is in fact several entitlement, you must tell the engine in your application, how to treat the different missions that may be present for each record.

  Hope that helps, I know a lot of people are going to get pop up by the present.

• Problem with data type 'Date' in Hyperion Planning V11.1.2.2

  I created members with the date data type. However when I save the date, it disappears or comes up with a random date? One has encountered such a problem before?

  This problem is related to you not having is not a coherent framework for your type of date entry.

  So, go to the administration of the application and define the date format DD/MM/YYYY in the application settings and display options, under current default application settings. Then after doing that as a user, go to user preferences and display options and the date format, select the same. Or delete automatically detect them.

  I've seen this behavior if you detect automatically on the user's preferences
