• Effects of lightsaber using the dynamic link with Premiere pro and After Effects CS4

  Hi all

  I'm working on a video project and that you want to add a lightsaber effect, but a layer which is suppose to be transparent isn't using dynamic links.

  I shot the video in my head, and everything else hidden.  I made a flash body to put my head on.  Now I know how to make a lightsaber in After Effects CS4. (starting with comp 1 with videos making a white solid layer, and then using the tool pen to make the sword.  Then copy the sequences video and place it in comp 2.  Then to return to comp 1 and remove the video sequences. then on comp 1 making a SOLID BLACK LAYER {that's the problem} and place it under the layer of white.  Then duplicate the white layer 3 times.  Changing each feather white layer mask to make the glow.  so going to comp 2 and take the 1 model and her nest to model 2...  Then change the blending mode of the model nested 1 to the screen.

  The main timeline in Premiere Pro CS4 and I have the video layer 1 to Photoshop file which is pink and the background of this project.  I made a dynamic link to After Effects and copied and pasted the video images and flash to the comp.  Here, I made the lightsaber.

  That is the problem.  The model of dynamic links with video, flash and the lightsaber will not show my pink background in Premiere Pro shows him my video, flash and lightsaber but the background is black.  In case of problems, I noticed if I turn off the LAYER BLACK for the lightsaber effect, I see my pink background with video and flash sequences and the glow of sabre, but my blue lightsaber color will not appear.

  Do more problems I set photoshop to lightsaber model file and I see the video, the flash, the lightsaber but I think because the background is pink I don't get a color glow to the sword (vilot color)

  If the layer of black is supposed to be transparent, so why can't see my background in Premiere Pro using dynamic links?

  P. S. - one-way I kinda had this work was I took one of the masks of white and copied and pasted layers in nested layer comp 1.  Adjusted to the width of the mask and the pen and I got a glow of blue ok.  You just can't mask width too because it shows a lot of black.  It is not as good as I want and I hope someone can help...

  Well, blend modes don't create transparency, so the behavior is correct - because technically, the background of the model is ignored for the mix of operations, in areas where there are no content below for the mix, only the layer of black color is used. You create transparency good, real luminance based on unmultiplying, that can be done with the Knoll Unmult plugin Red Giant Software (free) or the effect of changing the channel of the AE monitoring bey a color delete effect.

  These fx are destructive and only take effect when you change a single audio file in editview

  Of course, the option is to not use dynamic link. Which makes then less competitive whole adobe.

• Dynamic link to After Effects compositions does not import correctly

  Hello

  I have a project file that will be published in first, with the titles + animations from After Effects.

  Now, title animations are not final yet, so I thought to dynamic linking.

  Now I import my compositions in the first sequels, all goes well, but when I would drag them into my sequence (they have the same framerate/size/etc).

  The first will. But when I try a second, the audio doesn't do... The video will simply not drag into it.

  Now the strangest part: When enabled alltogether and dragged in sequence, they all without problem. But even once, when you try to add a new, I can't, as the audio.

  No idea what I could do wrong here?

  I have draggend my .aep to "automate to sequence", dragged all my other files into it: and it works. I can still add new dynamic links if I want to.

• Dynamic link to After Effects, handles

  Hi everyone, I apologize in advance if this has already been replicated in another thread.  I had a good glance and then discussions were referring to this, no cover the specific problem I have.

  At first I had the same problem that a few people have had - when I click right gripper in my timeline first and selected "substitute after composition Effects", I was confused and embarrassed as to why my transitions not working first.  I understand now that it of to do with handles (parts of a clip before the in and after the exit points that allow to do things as cross dissolves right?) and the fact that dynamically linked clips AE do not automatically counts for them.  The original video clip is long enough to deal with transitions but my dynamically linked clip starts and stops at the points of entry/exit, me leaving not enough spare executives to cross dissolve.

  OK, so finally my question.  Is there a way, when dynamic linking, to do AE account for handles?  In other words, to make enough of the original clips, lets give him enough on each side of my entry/exit points that I can still cross dissolve?

  I would appreciate help with this.

  As your clip you wish to replace it with AE composition can be fairly complex piece of several nested sequences, and you is not forbidden to have other extra video and audio in the timeline panel, it's easier to do some preparatory work in PrPro full:

  1. Select clip you want to replace it with AE composition and paste it for example in the slopes above and below

  2. develop according to your borders of transitions and then replace with model AE

  

  3. When you have finished your magic in AE, select this very scenario PrPro you initially want to replace it with model AE (if you want to keep your original audio intact, break video audio link first).

  4. Select your model dynamically linked in your project Panel or Source monitor, keep pressing Alt/Opt and then drag the clip selected in the timeline panel - it preserves your transitions to disappear (if you want to drag just video, only video perlace of the Source monitor accordingly)

• Big problem with Dynamic Link

  Hello, what happens is that I want to import software dynamic links don't show me not all the compositions, that I've done in After Effects.

• Problems with the installation/opening After Effects 7.0 Pro

  When you have problems with the CC libraries, this often solves the problem:

  Go to the creative cloud desktop application (found in the Menu bar on Mac, the task bar in Windows). Click on the "gear" icon > Preferences > General. Logout, then signed again with your Adobe ID

• Dynamic links - first After Effects - spoil the composition

  Hi guys,.

  We send a simple sequence to After Effects first. Some of the images a rate extends over it. When we open it in AE, the sequence is almost unrecognizable. Some of the clips are in the right place, but some are not, including additional excerpts that are long 0 frames. We believe that the stretch of rate it confuses somehow, but we have not had a problem like this in the past. Any help would be appreciated.

  Oh, to play with on images H.264 liaison and dynamics to AE.  There is a recipe for evil.

  The reason: the H.264 codec contains imageTER, as MPEG compression.  There are key images from time to time with information to frame complete, but middle managers contain only partial information framework.   Playing with time with these first images is confusing AE - he wants to see comprehensive framework of information for each image, but it becomes incomplete AND distorted information framework a lot.

  Without knowing the details of the project, I encourage you to transcode the H.264 videos for something repeatedly or without loss. I love Qt Photo JPEG for this or ProRes 422, if you.  Both are inTRAframework codecs, with information of full frame for each image.

• dynamic links - first after effects pro

  Hey,.

  These days, first link Dynamics pro suddenly stopped working. I have tried many things, such as the relocation of first pro, which allows to it explicitly in the firewall (windows 7), changing the name of my project, etc..

  He stopped working means that 'replace Adobe after effects composition' and 'edit clip in audition' is both greyed out, like file-> dynamic link is grayed out.

  It is not grayed out to in After Effects, however, and I can import a sequence first pro from there. Just if I save the result, and then import it in first pro I can watch but not add it to a (?) sequence.

  Also, I found that, in the case of dynamic links, there is a link in Premiere Pro CS4 (?) I've ever had. I use CC.

  Please create a new administrator account on the computer & control if the Adobe Dynamic Link works in the new account. To use the Adobe Dynamic Link, you should have the same version of the programs installed on the computer. Also, run the creative application Cloud & check if it shows first Pro CC. If that doesn't work not even in the new user account, you may have to reinstall all the CC Apps.

  That's your problem. The variables passed by a URL are treated as the
  name/value pairs separated by an ampersand. Your URL looks like this:

  search_by_location.php? rest_city = Chester + & + North + Wales

  Therefore, the value of rest_city is Chester. North Wales is considered
  another variable that has no value.

  Change the ampersand to the word 'and '.

• Problem with the installation of After Effects CC

  I downloaded the trial version of Adobe after effects CC. As soon as I install, I get the following message:

  I have an i5 4440, 8 GM of Ram, NVIDIA NVS 315 graphics card and running on Windows 7 Professional (without SP1).

  What can be the problem? After Effects CS6 works very well and the first CC & CC hearing Edition. Graphics card drivers are uptodate.

  You must have Service Pack 1 installed. Many things will fail otherwise. That's what the system requirements.
