  I think that VMware has a 64-bit/function version. You will need to contact them to verify this.
  64-bit to 32-bit is not supported by Windows Easy Transfer, as far as I know.

  Two main causes of this blue screen video drivers and BIOS - check with system manufacturer site for

  I have some MKV videos with. The SRT subtitles I can perfectly look through DLNA, but. MP4. AVI and others. MKV seems simply do not find subtitles.

  All of these videos with. SRT subtitles, I can watch properly on my Mac or directly into the USB port on the TV, which seems to clearly be a problem with the router or some settings.

  I tried to rename the extension of the file from. MP4 and. AVI to MKV, but also did not work.

  Are there other settings that I can do?

  At this point, you can close the Finder window and relaunch iDVD. If iDVD opens without a problem, you can move the files that you moved to the desktop to the trash and continue to use iDVD as you wish.

  Gerry, thanks for your post. I have the same problem as Joachim started this thread. I am running Windows 7 sp1. I have a Dell computer and it's certainly a legitimate copy of Windows (confirmed computer 'properties' and it is enabled).

  By your post, I saw just to update and the KB3004394 (installed on 12/10/2014) and KB3024777 (installed on 12/12/2014) show as comfortable. I usually leave the Windows download updates automatically and I install them to stop. I watched the second update and according to Microsoft.com:

  The KB 3004394 update which was dated December 10, 2014 can cause additional problems on computers that run Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1) and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1. This includes the inability to install future updates. This new update is available to remove KB 3004394 from your computer.

  My problem is, as of today 14/12/2014, I still get the pop up "this computer is running not windows genuine', even with KB3024777 installed.

• setting up a dual XP/Vista with a copy preinstalled Vista and no vista CD

  When I learned how to do the dual boot about 10 years ago, I learned that you first install the oldest Windows (95, 98, etc.), and then install the latest copy of windows (server, 2000, XP).

  I just got my hands on a laptop with Windows Vista. He has an unused partition that I would use to make a dual boot with my copy of XP Pro because I don't have the vista installation DVD and it should work better, because the laptop has only 1 GB of RAM. A decent amount of RAM for XP, but not enough for Vista. There are questions I mentioned here , and I hesitated to choose this option as I used my copy of XP pro for a virtual machine to play with she was attending night school

  How can I go about installing XP? I guess if I boot my XP CD and select drive D, it would replace the boot on drive C sector and install mess up Vista Home Premium.  I have no way to reinstall Vista HP that I have only a gateway 64 bit OEM CD rather than an Acer 32 - bit OEM CD and if Vista is something like XP they do not accept other product keys.

  I'm doing tech support for the family and I'm stumped. They had a Dell 530 with an Intel 82562V-2 and is no longer connected to the internet.

  Active... IP routing: No.
  Active... proxy WINS: No.

  That's all. Windows gives errors two errors:

  (1) the card network knows of driver or hardware problems

  (2) check that your Internet Protocol connections are Correct

  I installed the latest Intel drivers and TCP IP settings are checked for V4 and V6. I even went as far to install a new Dynex Ethernet card that gets the same mistakes.

  I even tried the netsh reset ip and netsh winsock reset command. I have no idea what to do next. I searched glasses and found similar problems with the same model of Dell and card, but they have been fixed by rebooting.

  Follow the steps mentioned below:

  Step 1:

  Temporarily disable the antivirus software (and any other security software) and the firewall on the computer as a test. Once disabled check if you can connect to the internet without any error.

  If disabling the antivirus software solves the problem, you may need to configure the settings of the antivirus as a result program. Please contact the software vendor for assistance in this regard.

  Note: Make sure that you enable the antivirus software, other security and firewall programs.

If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished.   Perform a System Restore to a point before the show and check if this solves the problem.
