• Problems with Premiere Pro CS6 and Media Encoder

  I have been using Media Encoder for months with Premiere Pro, but he has recently stopped working. It gets stuck trying to connect to the dynamic link and then fails.

• Import. AVI with Premiere Pro CS4

  I am trying to edit a video that I got from my digital SLR. It is in. AVI format.

• Problems with Premiere Pro CC 2014 H.264 encoding

  After update for first Pro CC 2014 yesterday, I see encoding artifacts on my H.264 exports.

  Same video source v7 and CC v2014 imported and exported using the parameters of the YouTube 1080 p 29.97 fps. Artifacts manifests itself in the form of softness/blur in some parts of the image every few seconds, particularly notice the area with a red circle below.

• Picture-in-picture problem with Premiere Pro

  Hi - I am superimposing a number of clips on top of the other and using cultures, feather and opacity to mix them all together.  Everything looks and plays very well in Premiere Pro, but any export I try shows the edges of the full frame of each clip (where I reposition a clip) although I am strongly cropped in (and feathers) on each element.  Any suggestions on the way to the edge of the frame?

  Yes, it's a bug - the cropping effect is broken if you apply transitions to the cropped clip. The nesting cropping effect is not aid, but you can fake the harvest by putting the images in a sequence with smaller dimensions, which will bypass the bug.

• Codecs to generate AVI with Premiere Pro CS4 files?

  I would like some feedback on which codecs you think are the best to generate AVI files. I tend to use Microsoft Video 9 or Indeo 5.10 for most exporters of my AVI, but I was wondering if there are traps with codecs that I don't know?

  My priority is the video quality, but I also care about how many compression, it is (IE, reduce to a minimum the amount of space is consumed on the hard drive), and I want to minimize the time required to export a media file to avi.  Are there other factors should I consider in deciding which codec to use?

  For what it's worth, I am running CS4 on a Windows XP computer.

  Here's what I observed in my tests...

  In the order of the smallest file avi (most compression) to the larger avi file (compression less):

  Microsoft Video 9

  Indeo 5.10

  Indeo 4.5

  Cinepak Codec (AVI is more than triple the size of the Indeo codec)

  Microsoft RLE (AVI is almost double the size of the one generated by the Cinepak)

  Microsoft video 1 (AVI is almost three times the size of that generated by the Cinepak)

  In order of time the shorter 'export' longer-term export times to a 13 second clip of test, with the codec on a maximum quality:

  Microsoft video 1

  Microsoft Video 9

  Microsoft RLE

  Indeo 5.10

  Cinepak

  Indeo 4.5

  As far as I can tell from the eye or video files, the quality that results is similar on all of them, but I'm missing something?  I must admit, I have not looked at the video and sound quality as carefully as I would like.

  If the conversion program offers it (most do, but some do not), the DV - AVI (AVI specific flavor) w / PCM/WAV Audio to 48 kHz 16-bit, would be the best.

  Also, there may be something useful in this ARTICLE, even if it was written for PrElements and not PrPro.Still, perhaps a useful tip.

• No video in Premiere Pro CS4! Help!

  Hi, I had problems with Premiere Pro CS4. The imported video playback is completely black the moniter to source both the moniter of sequence. The audio plays perfectly fine, also when I change the display mode to one of the other modes they run also. It's just the composite video display is not working. I have the latest video drivers and first worked before. Y at - it something I am doing wrong is the first pro. I have only the 30 day trial and I reinstalled and updated. Please help before the 30 days has elapsed.

• Premiere Pro CS4 hungs on importing or opening files

  I have a serious problem with Premiere Pro CS4. I have install on Windows 8, everything goes well. I create the first project and import mov files. First time I tried h284 Canon DSLR raw file. He played really bad. Secondly, I try AVID DNxHD mov, plays too slow, but everything is normal. But shortly after the first absolutely freezing. I restart, try to import the file or open the project with imported files (no matter what codec it is), it freezes again as before. And nothing helped. I tried to reinstall it about 5 times, it has no effect. What is c? Please, help me!

  P.S. I don't know it worked on Windows 7 with MOV of the Canon camera, but I was working with other codecs.

  Update. I found this problem described appears only with files DNxHD. regular H.284 causes different problem - during the first window loses focus (when I go to explorer, for example) first crashes, it's the window disappears and only strange red line stays on the screen. WTF?...

  Solved the problem! But if someone gets the same problem, I had just went preference-audio output mapping and then you choose your sound source.

• Premiere Pro CS4 feature Questions

  Hey everybody,

  I was thrown in a project that is using Premiere Pro CS4 (we use Roxio VideoWave) and I hope someone can answer a few basic questions (I'm not an expert in the field of the video editing software):

  (1) in the wave of the video, I can easily add photos and movies to a project simply by drag-and - drop from Windows Explorer. First, it seems, the only way I can add photos and videos to a project is to import media, and then drag them from the 'library of project' to the timeline. Is it possible to drag-and - drop a photo directly from Windows Explorer in a timeline? If so, please tell me what stage of base, Miss. :-)

  (2) is it possible to get a glimpse of what will look like a transition before adding to made the transition to film?

  Nope; those who are wired. It will become automatic for you after a while.

  You probably don't have the volume adjustments or keyframe activated for your track. Check out the following screenshot:

  

  You can select "Show clip keyframes" (which lets you keyframe other effects via the menu drop-down on the clip) or "Show Clip Volume" that shows just the volume effect. A yellow line appears through the waveform; You can drag up and down to adjust the total volume of a clip, or use the control key and click the rubberband to add nodes or key images so that you can increase the audio. You can also control click a keyframe to germinate the handles so that you ease in or ease the level.   Hi all

  I'm working on a video project and that you want to add a lightsaber effect, but a layer which is suppose to be transparent isn't using dynamic links.

  I shot the video in my head, and everything else hidden.  I made a flash body to put my head on.  Now I know how to make a lightsaber in After Effects CS4. (starting with comp 1 with videos making a white solid layer, and then using the tool pen to make the sword.  Then copy the sequences video and place it in comp 2.  Then to return to comp 1 and remove the video sequences. then on comp 1 making a SOLID BLACK LAYER {that's the problem} and place it under the layer of white.  Then duplicate the white layer 3 times.  Changing each feather white layer mask to make the glow.  so going to comp 2 and take the 1 model and her nest to model 2...  Then change the blending mode of the model nested 1 to the screen.

  The main timeline in Premiere Pro CS4 and I have the video layer 1 to Photoshop file which is pink and the background of this project.  I made a dynamic link to After Effects and copied and pasted the video images and flash to the comp.  Here, I made the lightsaber.

  P. S. - one-way I kinda had this work was I took one of the masks of white and copied and pasted layers in nested layer comp 1.  Adjusted to the width of the mask and the pen and I got a glow of blue ok.  You just can't mask width too because it shows a lot of black.  It is not as good as I want and I hope someone can help...

  So I don't understand the problem, first is very slow on my computer... Rendering of a piece of 5 min of just a film randomly takes like 3 hours! Just now, I found some things that I shot with my cell phone, it like 10 sec 1 frame! On most pc with this vice versa!

  So the cpu is not only the former and nor is the video card, meaby memory is a bit weak... Could it be the problem?

  My compliments on the way in which you have documented your problem! Very, very good. I wish that more people would take your example.

  Unfortunately, as you can see from the results PPBM4, your PC is a serious lack power. About 80 times slower than the top ensuring an and more specifically on the MPEG encoding.
