Problems with video capture in Final cut pro verses first CS5

The codec used in the capture of a video of the PCF, I cannot import the FCP in first CS5. Video I get clients who capture video in FCP and then send it to me. Is there a different capture format, they can use or y at - it a codec that is available that does not cost a fortune, working first for windows?

Yes, I am intimately familiar with P2 and edit in Premiere Pro - I have done so for four years. You don't need drivers for P2 unless you are actually mount the card P2 or the camera to your computer. Premiere Pro will edit the images natively without any additional installation. The applies to all formats that can be recorded to P2, including DV, DVCPRO, DVCPRO 50, DVCPRO HD, and AVC-Intra. If someone offers you a complete workout of the P2 files (folder structure) and you can import and edit all these without additional work around.

  • Problem creating an event in Final cut Pro

    Hello

I am running Final Cut Pro 10.2.3.

I created a new library, but when I imported my videos, then in a folder called "smart Collections".

This folder has never appeared before.

When I tried to create a new event, the clips remained in smart Collections folder.

I couldn't tell the program to duplicate clips in the new event.

    What is going on?

I deleted the new library and started again.

I deleted the new library, restart Final Cut Pro.

    The problem persisted.

    Help, please.

    Guy

When you create a library, an event is created as well as smart collections featured med goes into the event and can also go in smart collections. You can't have a library without an event which takes place in the media. Maybe you can post a screenshot of what appears in your browser.

  • Problem with video Capture where the connection settings are unavailable

I have two capture - Dazzle Platinum 100 and Game2 PC cards. The issue is the same with both, so it must be something to do with a setting on my laptop.  I can't access the setting of the video input in the Capture menu of one of the capture software I've tried. I can select the device in the Source menu, but nothing happens when I click on the menus of the video input (the options are missing). As such, I can't select the composite input. The audio seems ok.

The xbox and tv are connected using a separator and the component drive with connectors yellow, red and white coming on TV and I tried the two Pal 50 and 60 in the settings menu of xbox. I have set the settings to capture PAL and have also tried all the others.

I also disabled the webcam and uninstalled the webcam software in the case which has been cause of conflict. The dazzle card detects an entry but cela there is no picture, just a white screen with lines. The dazzle card also caused regular dumps while the Game2PC only gives the incorrect parameter error 0 x 80070057/11878 they both.

I've now provided all that may be in conflict has been uninstalled. I tried to change the capture settings and they are not available. Device Manager checked again and it appears Windows detects the device as device not video and Audio. Why would you think?

I solved this by downloading a new driver from the manufacturer's website. The disk driver provided seems to have been inconsistent with Windows and caused the device to be considered an audio device only. Windows drivers has also caused this problem.

  • Work with AE CS4 and Final Cut Pro

    Hi all

I did a lot of projects recently worked between FCP and AE CS4.

All the work I've done has been based animation and all projects have been HD. I took videos of up to a minute of EI as .mov with the H.264 codec and putting then into FCP to edit together.

The problem I encounter is that although often FCP runs slowly once there is a lot of mov files in the sequence. Also, it crashes when there is a long clip .mov (50 seconds, so not really too long!) in the sequence. I was wondering if there is a better way for me to be rendered these clips on front serving PCF. of course, they need to stay at a very high quality.

    Any help would be appreciated,

    Thank you

    -Lewis

H.264 is a codec of delivery: it is not really ideal for mounting purposes and the

decoding of it can be what is clogging up your system.  Try using the Apple ProRes HQ codec - it is very high quality and designed specifically for HD editing.

  • Problem with video playback in adobe CS4 pro first

Whevener I put something in my video. Through it be either A fraps recorded video or a video shot by my camera... I put in the library and drag it to the stage. and when I play the video right in the first remains as a still image, but audio playback. It does this with 2 methods I tried (Fraps and my Photosmart M537 camera). I asked my uncle (who had the same issues with the CS3 version) and he said that something wrong with the Codec of theres sure hes. I think it's because when I put my video I had recorded with Hypercam 2. It has worked well. Could someone help me please?

2 what CODEC is used for Photosmart M537 camera?

If it is a camera that has a video mode, you might have to convert it to AVI DV type 2 with its 16-bit 48 kHz

  • XML export Final Cut Pro crashes first

No matter what I try, I can't create XML export. It always hangs at 'simplification project. Ive tried import just the sequence I need in an empty project. I tried the sequence of project management down by consolidating and also copy all of the files, but the result is the same. The sequence is 1080 p and 4 k and 2 k media, but even when I project manage it and rendering 1080 p files it crashes at the same place.

I found my problem/bug. I had an audio effect applied to a path that was the cause of the crash. I missed the first time because I had deleted all the audio clips, so I don't think looking for audio effects.

I had a lot of problems ranging from the first at will via XML. Especially if a project has been consolidated. Hold that there is a more reliable way...

  • How to create or export a logo in Illustrator CS5 with an alpha channel for use in Final Cut Pro 6?

To all those who can help you:

I created a logo using Illustrator CS5 and must import it in a video sequence in Final Cut Pro 6.  The logo has a transparent background.  It seems that FCP 6 will import the files native .ai and .tiff files, but when I opened the 6 FCP, the alpha (transparent background) is no longer there; There is just the logo on a white background.  Y at - it a setting or a market I'm missing?

I need to insert images of HAVE in Final Cut Pro and Motion quite frequently.

The best way I found to get a picture of IN Final Cut is:

    1. Select / copy all objects in the doc to HAVE it.

    2. create a new file with a transparent background in Photoshop and paste.

3 merge layers and make sure that the mode is RGB.

4 save out as one. PNG or. PSD.

    5. drag the result in Final Cut (or movement).

6 resize and position the result to taste.

Attempt to export directly from... to PSD or. PNG is a wasted effort and the results are not even necessarily recognized by Final Cut.

Yes, there are Photoshop and it's a few extra steps... but it works like a charm.

In addition, when you create a new file in Photoshop, you can initially set its size that matches the aspect ratio of your video. For example, if you prepare a video HD, you could set the size of 1280 x 720 and position the elements GOT to where they are supposed to be in the frame. You can set the items HAVE precisely by cutting and pasting a picture of your video into Photoshop and positioning HAVE in place on another layer above the video layer. Delete the video layer before you save it as a. PNG or. PSD and it will appear in Final Cut exactly where it should be.

  • Can I capture with Final Cut Pro and edit in Premiere Pro?

Because it appears first has problems with capture - at least for me, but as I see it for others as well - and I can capture with iMovie, I take it with Final Cut Pro for capture - cross for Adobe Premiere and the suite for editing, then finalized? Or is it a problem to copy the photos/files from one program to the other (they would be clearly identified if I could just import first shots later?)

    Thank you

    Rob

    Hi Rob,

When you are capturing HDV into FCP, it creates a specific Apple HDV codec. It is a codec that is not available unless the FCC, movement or compressor is installed.

Two solutions of workaround would be to use Premiere Pro on Mac with above mentioned applications on the same system or convert a codec which can be read in first.

  • I have problems with libraries and events in final cut pro

I use Final Cut Pro X. was used for 3 or 4 years. I just upgraded to latest version 10.2.3 and I use it on an iMac running El Capitan. The way in which the library is set up is very confusing to me and I can't seem to follow the events and projects on individual drives. It seems all the events and projects are bundled in the libraries, but I can't see them on my hard drive to move or archive them individually.

And they take almost all of my hard drive.

I am use to working with events on a separate hard drive, but now I can't seem to put the files on a separate hard drive.

Just looking for advice or direction here.

    Thank you!

Looks like you were using an older version of FCP X?

Things have changed a bit to quit.

  • Export a Final Cut Pro XML file problem any translation problem

When I export the XML pro final cut, there is always a problem of translation like this "Transition... not translated, chained <>used instead."

Most of type transition can cause translation problems, except the wipe and cross dissolve.

Is there any body know the reason? Is it OK?

Also, I use the trial version of cs5

    Hey Ani_,.

I work for a long time with Adobe products and generally when you encounter an error that has nothing to with an XML file export problem its due to such things as the effects you may have added in, color correction, bland Crusaders or any type of video transitions between clips. Don't forget that your workflow must be

Import your videos into Premiere Pro
Name your clips (help to find things later)
Place the clips on the timeline in the order you want (DO CUP that DO not add anything, transitions effects color nothing)
Then once all of your clips are placed on the timeline in your voucher order you then EXPORT > Final Cut Pro XML

Now you can put this in other programs for adjustment of colors, or whatever it is you do.  You will find there is no error on export.

Once your fact is do what you do for the clips in another program (for example: the Divinci Resolve color adjustment) you can then export to your main project, and then add your effects and transitions.

  • Final cut pro works only with iCloud music

I have Final cut pro 10.2.3 sound only the trial version, I was about to buy it but I'm having an annoying problem may be due to the error of the user. When I download music on the cloud and try to put it on final cut the song appears but there no audio as if the song never had any audio recorded on it. If I double click on it before I drag it times the song, whats up is it me or final cut or a number?

p.s. If I out of youtube mp3 download I can use but which is not ideal and songs I've owned before iCloud work very well.

You have to specify what are the files "iCloud music."

Apple's music is a streaming service that puts DRM on the files - you are not allowed to put in video editing applications & reuse them.

    iTunes also sells DRM-free files.

Correspondence iTunes is DRM free, often called "iCloud Music Library"

This can help you to use some of the nuances of the different services...

    http://www.IMore.com/icloud-music-library-ultimate-guide

Frankly, it is a complex disorder but that's what the music companies seem to want to.

Non - DRM files could be placed on video projects, however, you will still need to take into account that copyright applies to these files and you may need the permission of the holder of rights of content - depending on what you are doing.

  • Video is lagging / choppy on Final Cut Pro reading but the audio is perfect

    Hello

So I am using FCP for 2 weeks or more and I have been editing videos without problem but today something super odd happened. After editing as I like, I saw the video and it's suuuuuper laggy/choppy but the sound was perfect (in quality and timing). When I stop the video for a few seconds, although the video can be synchronized back but then return to be lag after a few seconds. I tried exporting it in the hope that maybe once it has exported it's going to work, but not luck. The entire video is not even to export. The video is about 4 minutes would export long and only 01:30. I am really confused and frustrated and hope someone can help!

Also, I imported the original footage on an external hard drive if my computer would have more space. Not sure if that makes a difference, but I thought I should add that just in case.

    Thank you very much!

MacBook Pro OS X El Capitan 10.11.3 Version

Processor: 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

    Memory: 4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3

    Final Cut Pro: 10.2.2

Theres not enough info here to diagnose the problem. The issue started when you copied data to another drive? In general, you want the media on a single disc and the application on another.

Maybe car ram speed, maybe, I don't know what the requirements of the FCP are but check here:
