process 1 or higher

We monitor the enforcement procedures with AppMonitor agent, which leaves us now if the number of processes that we define is not available. Is it possible to monitor for 1 or several processes using this agent? Example: If 1 process starts, then a second process please send an alarm.

Yes.

AppMonitor agent collects the ProcessTotals table that has the InstancesFound metric.

For your example, you might scope rule to

AppMonitor_ProcessTotals where process = "someprocessname."

and set like alarm condition:

#InstancesFound # > 1

    Mr. VMware

The memory consumed, it's affecting the VM (memory affected by the VM, more general memory pages), i.e. "the memory usage. Active memory is usually much lower and calculated by the hypervisor using a mathematical formula.

After issuance of OS level commands below I Gets the following interpretation:

    prstat

This command returns me the process ID key (3578) that uses more CPU. then,

    prstat - p Lm - 3578

  • Windows 7 suddenly slow and System Idle process CPU utilization a concern

Almost overnight, my Sony Vaio with Windows 7 (bought in 2010) has worked incredibly slow.  I tried to update the computer with the automatic updates of Windows and the Service Pack 1 could not install many times.  So, I installed the system update readiness tool.  Then I tried to install the SP again and it worked (I was also able to install SP2 and other updates at this point).  But, these downloads and installations took longer than they should have and my computer continues to lag when I'm trying to do something.  Norton AntiVirus found no problem.  I've only used about 20 percent of the memory.  System Idle Process is using high CPU, even when I try to use other programs such as IE and Google Chrome.  The computer fans work diligently as if the computer tries to run, but everything is going so slow that the computer is almost useless.

The computer is almost three years old, but did not have something else installed Norton because I bought the new computer.  It has been used daily for almost three years without problem.  I do a lot but check Windows Live Mail, and then type the documents in Word format - literally that's all; no other programs, games, etc.  However, I have an error code a few months back: 'Not authentic Windows, Build 7600.'  In response to the error, I got my product key and verified the program and to use new Windows 7.
Anyone know why the system idle process continues to consume so much CPU even when I try to open a web browser?  Even when the computer is inactive, the fans are running full speed and the computer becomes warm to the touch.  It seems that no matter what the computer is doing, it is lagging behind and struggling.  Even if I just want to open the start menu, it takes a few seconds for the computer to respond.
    Thank you!

It is not dust but the crapware that you must get rid.  The first suspect is Norton, which is a terrible software that slows down terribly computers.  Get rid of Norton and install Comodo Internet Security instead.  Make sure that when you get rid of the plague of Norton, you get the Norton Removal tool and run twice.  Also, make sure that manually enter you your folder program files and delete all Norton and Symantec files and use a program like Malwarebytes file Assassin to get rid of the persistent process who do not want to delete.

Then use CCleaner (and ONLY CCleaner - do not download or install any other system cleaners or registry mechanic) for cleaning your system and use Revo Uninstaller to remove any extra crapware that is installed on your machine.  Be sure to remove any software from Apple and get rid of all Windows Live software.

Finally, you'll want to disable several Windows processes that eat up RAM unnecessarily.  These include Sync Windows, Windows Defender and Windows Action Center.

Follow all the advice and you should find that your computer is running a lot faster.

Take a look in the log file listener - this may be an indication of a problem with the DB console. See if there are a large number of closely stamped ' * service_update ' messages and/or requests for connection by perl.

  • Qosmio G20-139 digital TV. [TNT] Freezes

    Hi all
Just had a G20-139... and I love it! BUT having a problem with Digital Tuner. The digital picture freezes for a few seconds at a time. and sometimes, he says that he has lost the signal. However I know that the signal is good. When you look at it with my normal [TNT] tv. There is a slight delay in the image received on the G20.
The image quality on the G20 IS SUPERB.
I have the latest version of the driver [1.02.1930]. Not tried the analog photos yet...

I wonder if anyone has had the same problem and if it
    has all the answers!
It's one thing to Windows? or the processer get too high workload. ????
Everything on "MY TV" works very well and it would be fantastic if this problem could be solved.

Thanks a lot for the imformative forum.
    see you soon
    Ogilvie [uk]

    Hello

You are right; Qosmio G20 is portable really nice. But why are you sure that the signal is good (strong) 100%? Did you use another digital tuner to compare the signal reception?
Did you use MCE or a Qosmio Player?
Maybe the digital tuner really loses the signal.

I found a really nice article on HDTV in Windows MCE:
    http://www.Microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/MCE/expert/HDTV.mspx

  • Satellite A30 714 cooling fan noise

I have an A30 714 and due to the high temperature of the portable computer, the fan is on 90% of the time. It is very noisy. It is also the energy consumption when working with batteries. Does anyone have a suggestion about the possible problem and solution?

    Thank you

    Hi Fernando,

From your description, I suspect that there is some malware running on your A30 which is causing the CPU to process at a higher than normal rate, so the high activity of the fan and the autonomy of the batteries.

I suggest that you scan your A30 for virus/spyware/malware, etc. using a utility such as ADAWARE and SPYBOT (both are free and can be downloaded if you have not already installed).

I also suggest that you start the Task Manager and check exactly what percentage is actually using your CPU and what services/applications are actually being run.

  • Pavilion 17-e112dx: make the system restore media is too slow

I put out my system recovery media creating... and now I want to install windows 10. However, the software HP tells me that I need these DVD media to create... so I decided to do it now.

It takes more than an hour by DVD and must be 5 of them... it's an entire day to create system recovery... disks nuts.

    Why is this?

Is it possible to accelerate the * bleep * thing upwards.

    Hi there @webmasterpdx,

Thank you for visiting the Forums HP's Support and welcome! I read your post on the Forums of HP Support and see that you create recovery media and find that it is slow.

Unfortunately, there is not a way to speed up the process. HP highly recommends that you create a recovery image on disc or save a recovery image on a USB flash drive as soon as you receive your computer, at this time there the burning process is less likely to have been too long. If you receive no error messages and the disc is burning correctly, I would say just to let it run its course, even if it is a long process.

    Have a great day!

  • No Ogg sucking your battery life?

I've been torture test two clips, load them completely and then play an album repeatedly and measure how long the battery lasts.   My Ogg bitrate tests are much shorter than mp3 VBR tests, as much as half the battery life for Ogg Q8.5 vs mp3 V0.

Can someone reproduce the test with the "rocket".    I suspect that the results will be similar.   My guess is that the Ogg decoder works the Arm processor to a higher clock frequency.

Here is my link to my test clip: http://forums.sandisk.com/sansa/board/message?board.id=clip&thread.id=14326

I would do the same thing, but I lent my Fuze, and it doesn't look like I'll be back >.< >

I will buy another. It is not only a priority Clips my player preferred atm.

Here's the summary that shows the difference.

Game time - comparing money Sansa Clip 4GR 1 vs... GR 8, 2 black Sansa Clip: 1/4 of the Volume

Money Flac Lvl8: 09:02 * money wins an hour longer than 8GR 2 black *.
Black Flac Lvl8: 07:46 I do not understand why?  I'll do the test again

    Money Ogg q8.5 ~ 256 k: * will retest - Silver died while I was away *.
Black Ogg q8.5 ~ 256 k: 08:05 * black played yet so he wins but not sure what *.

    Ogg q5 of money ~ 151 k: 10:15
    Q5 black Ogg ~ 151 k: 12:12 * 8GR 2 black lasted 2 hours more than money 4GR 1 *

    Money MP3 v0 ~ 252 k VBR: 15:07
    MP3 of Black v0 ~ 252 k VBR: 17:18 * 8GR 2 black lasted 2 hours more than money 4GR 1 *

    Money v6 MP3 ~ 128 k VBR: 17:40
    Black V6 MP3 ~ 128 k VBR: 20:47 * Amazing.  has lasted 3 hours more than money 4GR 1 *.

Controlled the results of favorite tests, the conjectures of vs and speculation.

OK, Ogg requires more processing power and higher clock frequency than MP3.

    * Click on the data TAB, expand VMware-ESX host > & slipped, objects-> to select create Table

Expand CPU-CPU host-> consumer > select high CPU.

Expand the memory-> memory host--> Select MemoryProcesses top of the page.

Expand Stoarge-> storage-> process host select high IO-> next-> next-> next-> select the ESX host to add to this table of edge/report from the list of filters under-> click Finish.

If this point of view to the table, I've found metric to the graph view.

But when we ran the report, values showed n/a, unfortunately. For the cluster option, I can't use superior even to the table view.

Some can help me pull vFoglight report.

    Concerning

    Virginia Reynaud

One way to do this easier would be to create an array with the elements you want on it, as the name of the virtual machine, the use of the processor etc... and then you can filter/sort by CPU utilization, memory usage etc. and only have the Top 10 or anything else you like.

  • When I do a group of my computer (CPU) resources is linked to all the time__

I'm using a core 2 duo quosmio (G35 series) laptop with 4 GB of RAM.

    Hi all!

Try the following steps to identify the problem:

Method 1 : put the computer in safe mode and see if the problem persists:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

    Method 2: clean boot

If the problem is not repeated in safe mode then it is likely that a startup item or service is causing the flicker. Follow the steps on the following link to locate the item or service is causing the issue:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

Once you hit the nail on the service process / causing the high CPU utilization, you can leave this option unchecked in msconfig and all should be well.

    I hope this helps!

Fssm32.exe file has something to do with F-Secure, which is part of Zoom Interenet security. You can consider other programs for a better protection.  It is normal to have several svchost.exe. Each of them runs the various processes while having the same name.

Not to say that the the HJT log shows otherwise, but it must be posted on the malware removal forum.
