  I couldn't find an answer of fitting about my problem using search, so I'll try my luck by asking.

  First of all: I'm using Labwindows/CVI 8.5

  I created an installer for my application using the Distribution Kit Wizard. Under the tab drivers & components I chose only the 'standard Run-Time'.

  On the Advanced tab, I left the option "Install Labwindos/CVI Run-Time Engine in the application directory" unchecked.

  This installs and works fine at my PC clients.

  Now the problem:

  My client does not want that all files are installed in the Windows\System32 directory...

  So I checked the option "Install Labwindos/CVI Run-Time Engine in the application directory" and created a new installation routine.

  This installs fine and the cvirte folder is also be copied into the directory of the specified program and not Windows\System32... but now whenever my client tries to run the application, it gets called with the following messagebox:

  Cannot find the directory RTE:

  C:\Windows\system32\cvirte

  Which is actually very good, because I wanted to RTE must be installed in the folder of my program, but somehow my request is always pointed toward the search in system32.

  Is there a way to fix this without copying the RTE in Windows\System32 again?

  Given your explanation, I can understand why you see the error message. When you try to locate the resource (bin) and directories of fonts, DLL RTE search in the directory of the process that loaded, then in the system directory. As RTÉ is not installed in one of these locations (instead, it is installed in the same directory as your DLL file), we do not find the directory "RTE". There is nothing particularly wrong with what you're trying to do, except that we can't do well. I'll drop a request to fix this for a future version. In the meantime, you have a few options:

  1. let the RTE to install in the system directory, as it normally would.

  2. manually copy the directory cvirte of your repertoire of the DLL in the system directory.

  3. ask the client install your package DLL in its application directory. The target directory can be changed by the customer at the time of installation.

  I know these aren't the major options. I personally highly recommend the first option, despite protests from your customer. Is there a good reason that it is forbidden to use the system directory?

• Photoshop CC - components of Application in the Application Directory

  Hello - I would appreciate help from the Adobe community.

  I'm trying to install Adobe Photoshop CC (2015), but continue to receive the error:

  "Some of the application components are missing from the Application directory, please reinstall the application." whenever I try to launch the app (see screenshot below).

  Download / Extraction / installation process runs successfully whenever I have attempt it... I have reinstalled the application six times, as well as followed the instructions to use the Adobe cleaning tool to remove all components of Creative Cloud and redownloaded the creative cloud application as well as the CC of Photoshop...

  I restarted my computer every time... still nothing does not.

  I looked through the logs in the PDApp.log file and found these two error messages:

• Missing files in the Application directory.

  I just installed Adobe CS6 (I'm more used to it) on my computer. However, whenever I try to open the app, it just says, "some of the application content are missing from the Application directory. Please reinstall the application. "When I try to reinstall the application, it says simply,"Installer failed to initialize. This could be a missing file. Someone at - it solutions to this problem?

  Gus.Alves are you continue to receive this error?  If Yes, then I recommend Creative Suite 6 to uninstall and reinstall.  If you need a new copy of the retail installation files, they are available to Download Adobe Creative Suite 6 applications.

  I am a student and I just downloaded the creative cloud to use Ps for my class. I received an error message stating there is a conflict of process or application and click on the "continue" button and is sent to the next screen called "Creative Cloud helps / close conflicting processes or applications.   I see the Ps icon on the bottom of my toolbar on MacBookPro / notebook OS X however, I do not know if the download is complete. I opened Ps, and it seems to work. I'm with the Ps, and have for my class, please confirm if the error message will impact my future use of the Ps program.

  Sn90716591 you receive specific error messages after the closure of the adversarial process?  The update still shows as available or it has been applied with success?  You can find details on how to update Photoshop and Illustrator CC 2015 to Update Adobe Creative Cloud apps .

  If you download the installer, and then install, Setup auto deletes when the upgrade is complete.

• Starting process blocking application

  I have an application that uses a test internal client (no labview) to test a server. Use of LabVIEW makes API calls to control this client. I need to start the test client before I can control and most of the time it works pretty well. However quite frequently the Labview appliacton ends with the operating system, as it tries to start the client, but sometimes only. Sometimes it works sometimes break down. It hangs at the spot marked between the two newspapers start / finish the screw. The windows event log shows a ntdll.dll

  I have a file with registered newspapers .evtx.

  I ended up replacing the process start with the exec.vi system method and now it does not crash.

  as you can see I erased execessive java logging, this clear 20 GB, but there is an another 20 GB somewhere that is exhausted...

  How can I search for these files?

• Do my insert with silly process demo application

  Hi all
  
  I have a request where I insert a set of values in a table using a javascript function which intern activates an application process. This job very well. Columns such as PK, the dates, times, and users have been generated automatically, using sub inside the Insert query. I have certain columns that must be entered by the end user.
  
  The problem I encounter is that if the end-user leaves the empty editable columns and you press the Insert there is always a line added. What im trying to do is to get a validation on these columns so that if they have the value NULL, then, the insert does not work.
  
  I got a pop up asking you to confirm to continue the insert, but as a Word to say, I want to make this request as as possible evidence of silly :)
  
  Does anyone know how to put validation in the application process? For example, if col1 is not null the do not insert...
  
  I tried to put validations on the elements, but it did not work

  The onchange event will work fine. Change the button back to a normal button instead of linking to a dynamic Action for now.

  The only other thing I see which can cause a problem is your call to the method itself.

  The called javascript method is case-sensitive.

• What is a directory of the application and how do I install/copy inside binkw32.dll?

  OK... the first thing is that I installed a game... works very well.

  I then tried to open one of my friends mods... nothing happened. He said he had to be reinstalled... so after many hours, I found a way to do it. but it usually always open. I now get a message saying that it must be installed in the application directory.

  I need assistance in detail please... not very good with this stuff I don't want to spoil it im.

  Directory of the app in this case (similar) would be the "system32" directory that houses all of the .dll files.

  System32 = C:\Windows\system32

  You can just download the files "binkw32.dll" from a site (absolutely), you trust and drop it into the system32 folder.

  Note that downloading the files .dll from other sites has its own drawbacks.

  Or reinstall the game. Install as "admin" - right click on the installer and choose 'run as administrator '.

  If the game is not compatible Windows 7, try to install in compatibility mode XP/Vista:
