  I am running "Vista Home Premium" on my laptop and have recently noticed that my hard drive runs continuously in the background. The light is constantly on and I hear the player running. I would like to learn more about how to read and let you the 'Task Manager' tabs as process, Services and more particularly the Performance section. Where can I go online to learn more about them or someone will give a brief overview? Keep in mind that I've already followed the previous instructions and cleaned my startup and services in "MSCONFIG" and took other measures to keep my free disk of software and spyware malware.

  Here is some information that will give you more of an insight:

  To see which tasks are running, open a run window (Windows Logo key + R), type cmd /k tasklist/SVC (note the three spaces) and press ENTER. Close the command prompt when you finish the consultation.

  To get a better description of the associated services, access (Ctrl + Shift + Esc) Task Manager > processes tab and on a specific Svchost, right click > go to service (s) to see all the Services, which are highlighted.

  I do not have itunes, so I don't know where you can find it from Windows Task Manager.
  Click on process tab > scroll to find (if you know its name), until it clicks > click on end process down to the right.

  Alternatively, here is another way...
  Click on Services tab > click Services at the bottom right > uac prompt > now scroll to find itunes. I don't know how it's called. No doubt itunes.exe > if you find it, click on it > looks to the left, click on stop.

  But you can set the options in the general tab to load all services
  In this case the shortcut key should work again

  my computer keeps stopping and restarting itself.   Allows you to ensure that your system is indeed clean, see below:

  Try to start your system in safe mode:

  Restart your computer if it is running. Press and hold the F8 key for 3 seconds after your computer powers initially on. Once you see the Advanced Boot Options menu (or beep) you can stop. Up/down arrow keys to highlight your selection. Select Mode safe mode with networking and press ENTER. You should see drivers loading, it may take a few moments. You should then be at the Welcome screen. Connect to your computer using an account with administrator privileges. Now, you download (free) MalwareBytes from here: http://download.cnet.com/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware/3000-8022_4-10804572.html?tag=mncol install, Update then do a scan of your system in safe mode, to ensure that it is indeed clean!   Let us try the following methods.

  Method 1

  Do a virus scan online on your computer. You can do a scan of PC security by clicking on the link http://onecare.live.com/site/en-us/default.htm and clicking on the analysis of a complete Service and accept the contract of

  Try to check if the DCOM Server process Launcher service is running on the computer.

  You must be logged on as administrator to perform these steps.

  1. open administrative tools by clicking the Start button, then Control Panel. In the search box, type Administrative Tools, and then click Administrative Tools.
  2. double-click on Services. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
  3 right-click the DCOM server process Launcher serviceand then click Properties.
  4. on the general tab, next to Startup type, make sure that Automatic is selected.
  5. If the service is not already running, under Service status, click Start and then click OK. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
   
  If fails it step above, I suggest you check the event viewer to determine the cause and after return with accuracy of event viewer.

  There are several products that can do, but each has its own domain, in which they specialize.  With vCloud Director users can create VMS of from scratch and select all the computer resources they want as long as they have them available within their organization.  Media must be available (can be added to the area of 'catalogue') for operating system installs.  System administrators create each organization and resources calculation/storage/network each organization has access.

  User OR system administrator can create templates that have the base of CPU, memory, disk, OS settings as well.  The operating system can be customized based on manuscripts when he is deployed and the user can have access to add more CPU/memory/storage resources if they want to.

• Cf11 crashes (application pool suffered a fatal miscommunication with the to Windows Process Activation Service)

  I have a cluster of 2 servers web IIS on Windows Server 2008 R2. They were executed on CF10 for over a year (if there are not two) without any problem. I've upgraded a server to CF11 and now this server crashes then CF10 servers still works fine.

  I see 4 instances of this error in the Windows event log:

  «A process serving application pool ' *' suffered fatal miscommunication with the to Windows Process Activation Service.» The process id was '4652'. The data field contains the error number. »

  Then finally:

  "Application pool ' *' is automatically disabled due to a series of failures in the process serving the application pool."

  Looking at the application pool in IIS administration, he is arrested. Reboot will solve, but it will eventually crash.
