I just downloaded the demo of adobe acrobat XI and it does not delete the pdf pages that I can tell. I have download the adobe wrong product? I want to be able to take a pdf file, delete or insert other pdf pages and then save the pdf as a new pdf document. What is the product of adobe minimum that I need to do. Thank you.

Hi William,.

Adobe Acrobat is the right product to download for insert/delete actions in a PDF file.

I wonder why you are not able to delete PDF pages.

You get a specific error message? This happens on all PDF files or a specific one?

Please try to download the trial version from the link given as follows:

Kind regards

  • Removal and insertion of rows in table

    Hello

Rows of the table in my database are often inserted and deleted. It is inserting and deleting causes high water? Please suggest me a solution?

    Thanks in advance,
    Goussard

Take a step back, you have some reason to believe that you have a problem with wasted space?

Unless you perform direct-path inserts (which requres more work and usually occurs only in data warehouse environments where you do batch data loads), insert operations reuse fortunately space in blocks that was released by prior deletions. The exact mechanism of how and when Oracle decides which block to insert a new line will depend on the tablespace configuration and the configuration of the object, but the basic principle is the same no matter what. Do a lot of insertions and deletions on a table does not generally that there is a lot of space lost in the table, so there is usually nothing you need to do. The exception is if you make a single removal which decreases permanently the size of the table (i.e. the 1 GB of data stored table, make you a single 500 MB deletion, and every day you insert and remove the 10 MB of data, causing ever the table having more than 510 MB of data, leaving 490 MB of unused space) , but it seems that the volume of data you enter is essentially at the same level as the volume of data you delete.

As I see no evidence that you have a problem with wasted space, my suspicion is that you are worried needlessly. If you don't have any evidence that space is wasted, however, please give us more information about the symptoms.

  • HELP Javascript - Adobe Professional 8 - coding to insert Pages

    Hello

I merge two pdf documents. I use Adobe Acrobat Professional 8. So I in Doc # 1, 10 pages and Doc # 2, I have 20 pages. I have to add 20 pages of doc # 2 after each SECOND page in the doc # 1, so the total number of pages in the end will be 110 pages of the final merged PDF. I can do it manually by inserting the document after each page, but it's a pain when I have to do for 200 pages. I found a JavaScript, online research, that allows me to enter the pages automatically. However, this JavaScript is add one page for each odd page, which does not work for me. I played a bit with the coding, but without success since I have no javascript coding experience. Can you please help me solve this problem?

That's what I want to do:

    [Page 1] [page 2] [*] [page 3] [page 4] [*] [page 5] [page6] [*] [page 7] [p. 8] [*] [p age9] [Page 10] [*]

-> insert comes to the [*].

With the help, I got this code:

      for (i=1; i<numPages; i+2) {  this.insertPages(i,"Even.pdf")  }

However, there is a problem with this code, the pdf attachment inserts all 20 pages after 2 pages of the Test file, and then continues to repeat and reinsert the 20 pages, insert the 20 pages again... until I have stop it manually by pressing ESC.

    So, it looks like this:

    PG.1, Pg2. * Pg.3, Pg.4, p.5, P.6

    Insertion point *.

    Please help me with this.

    Thank you

    Try something like this:

    for (i = this.numPages - 1; I > 0; i = i - 2) {this.insertPages(i,"Even.pdf")}

  • Quick question from a newbie... Can I use an API of the Adobe Reader to open and fill out a PDF form to my MFC application?

    Hello people.

If I'm in the wrong forum, might well want to suggest a more appropriate forum?

It is a pretty basic question.

I downloaded the SDK and watched, but I'm still a little uncertain. Simply because there is a ton of information to this site, and it's all new to me.

I have a Visual Studio MFC application. (Visual Studio 2008)

I want to change the application to read a PDF form to fill out, and I want to programmatially fill in some of the data in the field as it appears on the screen. This could be considered writing a PDF file, but I think it's only complete, because I can do this with Acrobat Reader. I assume that there is an API available to do this.

I saw something on IAC, then maybe that where I need to study.

I'm the developer. I need to buy Adobe Acrobat? Or is the right drive for this?

My customers will need to purchase Adobe Acrobat? Or the drive will be enough?

It's one thing for me as a developer to buy the tool to improve enforcement, but another question, if I go to the end users and tell them that they need to buy and install Adobe Acrobat.

I'm not afraid to have a discussion, I just want to know ahead what debate, I need to have.

Are there different APIs available for different Windows OS? One for XP for Vista 32-bit, one for Vista 64-bit, for Windows 7... etc.

Or is this the same way, regardless of the platform?

    I'm looking for advice.

    All would be appreciated.

    Thank you

The only way to fill a form in Adobe Reader is to use the file in FDF or XFDF format.   They are text-based formats that you can put the form data and a link to the PDF document in and then ask the REader to open it (and the associated PDF file) upwards and fill automatically.

You can't poll drive for more information, however.

  • Add additional pages, and delete pages in pdf format

    Hi all

I am trying to get 2 things with my form:

    • How can I remove the first blank page (its gives me a headache)
    • How can I script the 'Add page' button to automatically add unlimited additional pages (page 4 to be precise) to my form?

My form is in the link below. I would appreciate your help.

    Thank you.

    http://www.4shared.com/document/ye12txZS/Gavin.html

    Hello

The link is not available. You must publish the file.

However, since the previous version, you will need to follow the example in the add page"" button.

First of all, you need to set the layout Flowed page. This will let you select the subform that contains the text field of the field/picture of the subform to repeat (in the object > Bindings tab).

We'll then work the addInstance script.

    Hope that helps,

    Niall

  • Acrobat did a update and now the interface is a bit different and I don't have the ability to delete/insert pages. How to regain this ability?

I need to remove and insert pages to PDF.  I seem to have lost this ability since the last update.  Can someone help me?

Are you sure you use Acrobat and not the free player? Please give details of your operating system (and version), the name and version of the program that you use, and what happens when you try to remove/insert pages in your file.

  • Hi, I have Adobe Acrobat Professional. And I would like to create web forms via Adobe for my site. What I have? or is it included in my Acrobat Professional software?

Hi, I have Adobe Acrobat Professional. And I would like to create web forms via Adobe for my site. What I have? or is it included in my Acrobat Professional software?

When you say that web forms, do you mean HTML forms or PDF forms? For web forms, Adobe has a number of products, you can use, including FormsCentral and Dreamweaver. For PDF forms, you can create them with Acrobat.

If you want to create HTML forms with FormsCentral, which calls the web forms, you will need a subscription for the FormsCentral service. The FormsCentral application that comes with 11 Acrobat is used to create local PDF forms, but if you want to create web forms with him you will need a subscription. Note that there is a free subscription, but it is quite limited.

  • Is Adobe Reader for iOS and Android Support with Solution PKI encryption?

    Hello

I searched for an answer if Adobe Reader for iOS and Android can read PDF files encrypted by infrastructure solution to public key (encrypted by a public key, in order to be decrypted by the private key pair), but to date I have not found the answer.  From the Adobe web site, I understand that Adobe Reader for Android supports to read a document encrypted with AES256 but it does not mention on PKI.  I had to guess it does not support encryption with PKI, but I would just get a formal response and would like to know if Adobe Reader Mobile will support it.

    Thank you!

    Masaya

Unfortunately, it is still not supported on mobile versions of Adobe Acrobat DC.

    Thank you.

  • Cannot insert pages in a PDF file after having signed with a digital signature in adobe 9

Is there no workaround solution that allows me to insert additional pages in a SIGNED pdf file?

    Background:

Author of a form create a form that needs multiple signatures and attached pages and converted to PDF format for the signature. Person 1 sign and sends it to the person 2. Person 2 must include additional documents and insert pages before signing.

In the new version, I noticed that it changes the security documents that may prevent the insertion after logging it. How can I disable this?

    Hi Bob,

You don't like the answer, but it cannot be disabled. In previous versions, when you added a page it invalidates the signature. Starting with Acrobat 9, once the PDF file is signed is no longer changes the content of the core PDF. The change was made to protect the integrity of the signature. You can still add comments, but (without being too geeky) comments are not part of the core PDF as pages are, they live in a separate level. In addition, you can always add data form, but as the comments, what you type into a form is no field not part of the core PDF.

The main thing is, we made the change to protect the integrity of the signture, and signature protects the integrity of the document. Thus, changes made to the document are no longer allowed in signed files.

  • Insert Pages to new PDF

I've created a new blank PDF as follows:

    If objAVDocNew.Open (strCombinedPDFName, "") = False Then
    MsgBox "cannot open" & strCombinedPDFName
    Return
    End If

    Set objPDDocNew = objAVDocNew.GetPDDoc

    If objPDDocNew.Create () = False Then
MsgBox "not setting a combined PDF file.", vbCritical + vbOKOnly, "not to create file."
ShowMessage ('do not combine and email PDFs.")
    Exit Function
    End If

When I try to insert pages to PDF one another, the insertion fails.

    If objPDDocNew.InsertPages (0, objPDDoc, lngPages, 0, 0) = False Then
    MsgBox "Pages has not inserted.
    End If

However, when I run the above statement on a PDF file that already has pages in this document, not a blank PDF file, then the insert works.

What should I do, I can insert pages into a newly created PDF file?

Replace the call to InsertPages this:

    objPDDocNew.InsertPages (-1, objPDDoc, 0, lngPages, True)

The first parameter is the location to insert the new pages. PDF documents

start counting with 0 pages - so the first page in a document is 0. We

have an empty document, so there is no zero page yet. It also applies the

third parameter: you want to insert from the first page of the

second document, so we use 0. The last parameter can be true or false (1 or)

(0), it controls only if bookmarks get inserted.
