    People,

As a beginner of Stellent in my first day of training, I have to hand it to you guys. Excellent product! I will need to play with him a bit before I can really understand how it works... so I want to install it on my laptop where I already have SQL Server 2000, run the WebCenter Interaction (Plumtree) DB. Do I really need Oracle DB?

Have an old laptop with not much memory and hard drive space. If Oracle DB is really needed, what is the DB instance footprint lighter ground that I can use with Stellent?

I would like to hear from anyone who has been through this, especially tips, warnings, lessons...

Of course, you can use SQL Server with the AAU and WCM. No problem. The exact way - of are all covered in the guides to installation, but you should have no problem!

for Oracle each planning application requires its own schema for SQL Server, each planning application will require its own database.

  • Using SQL Server with ADF BC and getting Houston - 29114 ADFContext aren't Setup error

Hello... I work with ADF BC and my connection is with a MS SQL Server database.  I added the sqljdbc4.jar in my template project, and can't seem to connect with the DB and build an Entity/View/AppMod infrastructure.  However, once I deploy the application on the integrated WebLogic Server I get errors when ADF BC tries to connect.  I added a POJO supported data control and tried to debug but PPR reports an error when my key to call the code stripped of JDBC:

    Houston-29114 ADFContext is not configured to process this exception messages. Use the code of exception stack trace and error to investigate the root cause of this exception. Root cause error code is Houston-29000. Error messages settings are {0 = java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError, 1 = com/microsoft/sqlserver/jdbc/SQLServerException}

ADF_FACES-60097: for more information, see the error log of the server for an entry beginning with: ADF_FACES - Exception during the PPR, #1 60096:Server

Seems to me that the POT is not in the classpath on the WLS.  What is the problem? If Yes... How would have added that JAR, sqljdbc4.jar, the path of the WLS class.  I've done through the deployment of models, and he saw in the META-INF/lib directory that has been deployed.

    Thanks for any help!

Do not apply the JDBC JAR (s) in the archives of application deployment. You must add the JAR to the classpath WLS JDBC (s). Change the commEnv.cmd/sh for this script:

Using JDBC with WebLogic Server - 11g Release 1 (10.3.6) drivers

Note that WLS is pre-configured with a number of brand WebLogic DataDirect JDBC drivers (including a SQLServer driver), so you can use it instead of adding a new driver if the DataDirect driver meets your needs:

Using WebLogic brand DataDirect drivers - 11g Release 1 (10.3.6)

  • Recovering data using SQL SERVER

    Hello
We migrated an environment where Oracle has been store relational data, to one where it is SQLSERVER. I'm trying to load the relational source data into Essbase using rule files. (Nothing fancy) We are on 11.1.2.1

My rule file Essbase, which in SQL embedded in it, returns the numeric columns apparently valid, but rejects essbase each records as if the numerical value was a value of text, for example, he says "Member 12345.67890' not found.

View SQL SERVER sets the numeric columns (Numeric (38.5), null).

Someone at - he met before & can help?

    Thank you

You must validate your definition of the rule of load, something pushed and charge State treats the data as members of a dimension column.

  • Data type of text is not displayed using SQL Server and ASP/VBScript

Maybe someone help me with this because I used to use PHP/MySQL, but I use for this a Classic ASP/VBScript and MS SQL Server instance and I don't know that much. The scenario is I have an old site that was designed using html tables and I do a CSS/XHTML update on Visual design. As long as we are here, there are some pages that are dynamic and use a MS Access database and we thought it's a good time to upgrade from MS SQL Server (2005, to be exact). No time/money for bringing classic ASP VBScript in ASP .NET.

Overall, the upgrade went fairly well, especially just to create a new connection to the DB in SQL Server in Dreamweaver after all the tables and data were migrated to SQL Server. Almost everything works as it should. A problem though.

For some reason, the data of the data type 'text' in SQL Server is not appear (or sometimes appear). I even tried to recreate the recordsets and binds fresh data and the code is more or less identical to what we had before. Anyone know what's happening, or how I can get this data to show?

I think that there is perhaps some simple and double quotes in the text data and which could be screwing things up. I was hoping there is only a simple function that I could apply the code, but as I said, I don't know.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Your text field should be the last of your select statement, as
its not stored in the table with the other data, its stored elsewhere,
as a binary object, should be treated differently. Its common
the migration of the access problem.

If you need more of 8000 characters stick with him, otherwise use
varchar (8000) or nvarchar (4000) If you need (limited unicode characters
4,000 cos of the double byte characters)

  • Patching vCenter when Using SQL Server Express

    Hello

I have a few questions about the correction of vCenter and will use the installation of vCenter Server 4.0 Patch1 as my reference for these issues...

I use the tech note at http://www.badkey.com/DB/blogsphere.nsf/2/JWIE-7VDPKJ/ $File/PTech_note_vCenter_Server_4.0_Patch1.pdf the process document. This seems to be an official document from VMware, but I can't find anywhere on the VMware Web site. What is the correct process? It is on the VMware web site?

Backup of the database - the tech note above does not have reference to smaller facilities that run SQL Express. Are there specifications compared to this type of installation? If I upgrade, I think he should see the 'old' database immediately, correct? If I do not use the backup for a reason, is there traps to do this up to-and-operational?

    Thank you

    number1vspherefan.

If you point the existing of the current DB Server vCenter DSN, and then you perform the upgrade.

Otherwise, you perform a new installation or an upgrade of old data.

You can see the list of the DSN in your ODBC Manager.

  • Developer SQL 4.1.2 uses Windows authentication to connect to SQL Server

I'm using SQL Developer 4.1.2 and tries to connect to SQL Server through Windows authentication.  If I use SQL Server authentication, everything works so the jTDS driver appears to be installed and working properly (I use jTDS 1.2).  When I switch to Windows authentication, I get the error

Status: Failure-Test failed: IO error: failure of the SSO: library Native SSPI has not loaded. Check the system java.library.path property.

Of course, I googled the error and came up with dozens of people asking the same question and is told to move the ntlmauth.dll from the \SSO directory to the jTDS directory in various other directories.  That seems to work for others so for the last few hours, I was copying the DLL in each directory that I can find someone on the internet suggesting without success (I do restart SQL Developer each time).  In the Directory SQL Developer, I tried

    Developer c:\Oracle SQL 4.1.2.20.64\sqldeveloper

    Developer c:\Oracle SQL 4.1.2.20.64\sqldeveloper\sqldeveloper\bin

    Developer c:\Oracle SQL 4.1.2.20.64\sqldeveloper\jdk\jre\bin

On the off chance that something was still making reference to a directory of a SQL Developer previous install, I put it in the same directories in the front THAT SQL Developer installed on this machine.  On the theory that she was using the FMV of the machine rather than that I downloaded and installed with SQL Developer, I advanced and dropped the DLL in the directory \bin for each installation of Java, that I could find on the system.

    c:\Program Files\Java\jrd1.8.0_45\bin

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.8.0_45\bin

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.8.0_60\bin

Still no luck.  SQL Developer, I went to help. Everything | Properties and checked that the first way to java.library.path is what I expected and where I dropped the ntlmauth.dll first.  I even put it in c:\windows and c:\windows\system32 just to be sure.

    Java.Library.PathC:\Oracle SQL Developer 4.1.2.20.64\sqldeveloper\sqldeveloper\bin. C:\WINDOWS\Sun\Java\bin; C:\Windows\System32; C:\WINDOWS;

Despite the DLL just about everywhere that I guess I would need to have it, I still get the same error.  I must be missing something obvious.  But at this point I was looking at it so long that I just can't see it.

I use SQL Developer 4.1.2 and tries to connect to SQL Server through Windows authentication using jTDS 1.2

Not sure if this has anything to do with your problem, but according to jTDS - SQL Server and Sybase JDBC driver / newsand since SQL Developer 4.1.x requires Java 8, '' you should stick only to jTDS 1.2 If you need to use a version of Java before Java 7 '' . Perhaps using a version 1.3.x jTDS driver might help.

ASP.NET support has been removed since Dreamweaver a while ago (in CS4, I think).

If you want to restore the ASP.NET server behaviors in CS5, you must install ASPNet_Support.mxp, which is located in C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Adobe Dreamweaver CS5\configuration\DisabledFeatures in Windows or similar location in the Applications folder on a Mac.

The server behaviors are are no longer officially supported, but they perform the same functionality as in earlier versions of Dreamweaver.

  • SQL Server 2012 & System Center R2 2012

We are running Configuration Manager and Operations Manager R2 2012 in our environment.

We originally he set up to test using SQL Server Evaluation in 2012.

Configuration Manager uses 2 instances (CFGMGR and WSUS) to its own database and WSUS.

Operations Manager uses an instance (OPSMGR) for its own database as well.

We decided to keep applications and bought our licenses SC 2012 R2 Datacenter. Configuration Manager and Operations Manager seems to have activated just fine on their own application after the keys, however, SQL instances have reached the end of their trial period and will start is no longer, making the Config, Ops and completely useless WSUS. The agreement stipulates that there is no product key for SQL Server 2012 Standard because apparently they are not necessary to run the components of the SC. What should I do to get my SQL Server of the assessment to the standard and active instances? In an attempt to relaunch the installation I used to install the evaluation, the only other available edition is Express and it does not accept the only key that I got from our license agreement.
