Profile of camera Calibration

Is there a place to find a particular camera calibration profile? I shoot RAW and only see Adobe Standard optional. I have a calibration as a starting point for editing in LR. My camera is a Samsung NX20. If it is not a profile, is there a way to create one that simulate what looks like jpeg from my camera?

This is exactly why she can choose among these different profiles. She uses a Canon. Adobe provides profiles corresponding to the camera for Canon and Nikon, and I think there are a few other cameras as well. But I'm not aware of those who. For example, I shoot with the Nikon unit. I have Adobe Standard, landscape, Portrait, Standard, Vivid camera and maybe one or two, I don't remember right off the coast of the hand. I have also two cameras Fuji, and for these cameras the profile only I have is Adobe Standard. This profile is specifically for each of these cameras, but it's the only profile provided by Adobe. And it's the same situation with your camera. If you want to have all these different profiles available, then you will need to purchase a Nikon or Canon camera. The other alternative is to go to Adobe labs and download the DNG profile maker and learn how to use it. You can create all the profiles that you want. I have not had the patience to really get into personally.

  • Problem with profiles of camera calibration

I use Lightroom 4.2 under windows with a Canon 450 d for awhile and I use only raw files.

On the 'caméra Calibration' tab, I could choose between acr4.4, Adobe Standard and a few presets for canon (landscape, neutral, etc.)

In my opinion the ACR4.4 profile gives me better and more natural colors most of the time

Last week, I upgraded to a Canon 650 d. When I import my pictures and go to 'develop', I can only choose between the Standard Adobe and canon presets. There is no profile of x.x ACR (replace the 'x' by whatever it takes for a 650 d)

It is not the end of the world, but is it possible to download it?  or did remove it completely for the newer models.

In the window "about adobe photoshop lightroom", it says that I have Camera Raw version 7.3. Reinstall lightroom makes no difference and all my drivers are up to date.

ACR's legacy profile. It no new cameras. It will not disappear for the older cameras, however.

Adobe Standard is Adobe, well, the current standard.

If it is not optimal for your tastes, you can change using the DNG Profile Editor.

  • And 5 d MKII Camera Calibration profiles

So far, I have used a Canon 1Ds MKII and took not only her downloaded Canon Camera profiles available in the calibration of the Module Panel develop, but also Adobe Standard, 2.4 ACR and ACR 4.4 profile.  I recently got a Canon 5 d MKII and in Lightroom, I only available on the Canon and Adobe Standard camera profiles.  ACR 2.4 and 4.4 do not seem to be available as an option with the 5 d MKII of RAW files.  I liked having them as they served as rough alternative, starting points.  I wonder what happened to them and how they can be obtained in return as an option for the 5 d MKII.  This happened to someone else?

While I'm at it... are Canon camera profiles I downloaded for the 1Ds MKII, the same as for the 5 d MKII or do I have to download a different... I suspect that they are the same or Lightroom would not offer them to me... is that correct?

    Howard

AFAIK if you are running the latest version of LR all profiles for cameras supported are installed automatically. When you select an image from a camera supported, you will see only the profiles available for this camera. Given that the 5 d MKII is a new camera put in place after Adobe Camera Raw 2.4 and 4.4 there are associated with no profile.

  • Profiles in camera Embedding problem to DNG using LR6

Hi, for the year last December I was on that conversion import into LR my 5Dmkii files to DNG. I'm doing this because I think that illuminating dual camera profile that I created using my Colorchecker passport can be incorporated into the file. I discovered previews DNG updated and metadata are necessary to effectively integrate the profile. Yes, up to now my import occur, dng previews would be created and I would select all the images so that I could then "Update DNG Previews and metadata". A little time-consuming, but he did what I thought was necessary.

I am now looking to upgrade to the computer. Currently win7 64. I have a lot of profiles of cameras from various shoots. I lost both profiles and discovered that when I look at the image and see the default Adobe Standard or something like camera calibration. Wanting to avoid this, I started the dng format conversions.

Until today I thought that everything was fine, however, I've done some tests and either I don't understand what is happening or there is a bug... Could someone advise me please. I have tried adobe online, but have not found an answer.

    (1) I turned a new image today and imported as dng LR6. I have custom settings, including the double camera profile illuminant defined as default settings. I've updated the Dng preview and metadata above to embed the profile. I then took over as dng for my laptop with my 2nd son (now installed, no custom settings, and any custom profile) copy of LR6. I checked the camera profiles and he gave me an old profile for a year and a half ago of the cab.

    (2) I then took a dng LR5 processed since January this year and ran saw DNG was updated and metadata about the dng file. I took on the laptop, checked the camera calibration tab and find the correct double bulb is recognized.

Now, it seems that my understanding was correct for LR5 but is this a bug with it not integrate correctly or something has changed I have not picked up on?

The DNG after updates in this zip on dropbox is very well.  It has embedded profile expected which I have not installed on my system.

What is different with this DNG compared to what you have included before that has the profile Venning 3?  Have you watched this DNG on Machine #2?

Here is an excerpt of the XMP embedded in the DNG of updates after data have seen by opening the DNG with MS WordPad:

Here's a screenshot of ACR 9.1 plug-in for Photoshop which shows the appropriate as well profile:

  • Profiles of camera with .tiff files

I have a not (really) taken camera supported directly by LR - so I use .tiff files created by the software of the delivered unit.

It works very well, and I had earlier help from this forum about the lens profiles using files .tiff, with great success.

Now I would like to be able to use my own profiles of camera with LR with my .tiff files - when I open the RAW files (an older version is supported, they can be opened), profiles are available, as expected, but when I change the .tiff file version, the profiles are gone.

    What can I do?

    Best regards

    Henrik - Denmark

In the camera Calibration tab, the only profiles that will be available are RAW files. TIFF and Jpeg files are already rendered and you won't see that 'integrated '. When you are shooting in raw mode, applying the profiles of school boards and the white balance setting is major assets in post processing, the two are already cooked in files that are made by the camera. Or in your case by camera manufacturer's software.

Maybe your device is supported by a new version of Lightroom. What version of LR are do you use and model of camera?

  • Mobile profile & Lightroom camera

I have change my profile of camera during import so photos are set on "camera natural." I then sync my photos with lightroom mobile so I can work on it from my iPad.

When the images are synchronized mobile Lightroom to my desktop computer, the profile has changed to Adobe Standard!  Is there a way to stop what is happening, please?  I can't understand why he's doing, but I want the profile to stay as I put the import.

    Thanks for any help.

This has been reported to Adobe.

It is not a bug in itself but rather a design limitation. An application was made to Adobe to allow download and mobile profiles customized by Lightroom usage.

  • LR 3.6RC vs 3.6 w/LR D700 profiles v4 camera

I used LR on Mac 3.6RC to develop an entire session using the v4 of camera profiles that came with 3.6RC. The behavior was a bit strange, because the images got 'lighter' more you move the "Wiederherstellungs-pay" (is this recovery in the English version control?) to the right. In any case, I've developed a few hundred images using LR3.6RC/w camera profiles v4 and after that I installed the 3.6 regular now all images that were made with 3.6RC are now too dark (and too dark!). This means that I have to go through all the images in the re - develop?

You can see an example here: left is what it looks like in (also devel here) 3.6RC1, right is what it looks like now to 3.6

    LR36RCdeveloped.jpgLR36exported.jpg

Recovery slider worked incorrectly in LR 3.6RC. This has been corrected in the final version. Update LR does not automatically rebuild previews.

  • Profiles of cameras to CS3, Camera Raw 4.6

I had a major computer failure and had to buy a new one.

I loaded PS CS3 again, did the upgarde which seems to have been successful and have Camera Raw 4.6, but when I look at camera profiles it only shows ACR 4.4, ACR 3.6, none of the camera profiles are visible has no option for standard Adobe I had before.

I went to the Adobe site to download the latest Camera Raw, which is for CS3 4.6, which I already.

I downloaded the beta versions of profiles camera on Adobe labs some years back and everything worked fine. My new computer doesn't has no connections to allow me to run my old hard drive (again) that has profiles of camera download top otherwise I would have loaded their place again.

    I'm doing something wrong?
    Any suggestions gratefully received.

DNG profiles can be loaded by running the latest DNG Converter installation program of the DNG product Page.

  • Camera Raw 5.5 does not install?  And button camera calibration issue.

I just built a new computer with 7 PRO and installed all my software. When it comes time to install raw 5.5 it goes in half way through and told me to cut the deck.  As far as I know the bridge window and the program are disabled and not running.  I have same unpined it out of the taskbar.

In CS4 when opening a Raw file and I spend my botton of camera calibration there are only two options that arise, 3.3 and 4.4 Arc. Where are all the other options to?  They come with the 5.5 update?  Thanks Keig

It is not connected to the taskbar icon. Look in the Task Manager under the process and runs, kill him.

Also uncheck the option to load at startup in the preferences.

  • Missing camera Calibration profiles

I used to have a bunch of profiles of Adobe in the Calibration of the camera until I upgraded to LR CC 2015.6. Now, it is only a default option and it says "matrix". How can I get all of these profiles as Standard, neutral, faithful, landscape, etc. back?

I have a Canon EOS 7 d mark ii so that camera profile should be recognized.

    Mike

I have this camera and use LR CC 2015.6 and continue to have all the camera profiles expected.

See 'matrix' usually means the profile files, themselves, are missing or inaccessible.

If you're on a PC, you can review it to see if the profile files are still there:

    C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Lightroom\Resources\CameraProfiles\Camera\Canon EOS 7 d Mark II

To get them back to uninstall and reinstall, first LR CC 2015.0 then updating, both available as a manual download from here:

My camera profiles (standard, landscape, etc.) are missing (under calibration of the camera) as I've updated to 5.6. I have a canon 6 d and my computer is a mac. How can I return this profile?

If you actually see raw files and not JPEGs, then I suggest that you try to reinstall Lightroom 5.6. If you look at the JPEG images then all you will see is "incorporated". I apologize if you already know that.

You can watch an image of type JPG or TIFF file.

Only raw (CR2, NEF etc.) displays a list of profile options. (Standard, landscape, portrait, etc.)

The only thing that appears in the menu of the camera downwards (Lightroom 3) Calibration are ACR 4.4 and 4.3 of the cab. How can I get the rest of the profiles is displayed?

in the C folder; ProgramData/Adobe/CameraRaw/CameraProfiles/AdobeStandard I have 6 STC files. And in the case of the camera, I get an impressive number of cameras but all their files are empty.

You can download the ZIP file of ACR 6.1 update (the one for the PES, which appears on the main page of the ACR 6.1 update) and run the CameraProfiles.exe inside the ZIP, reinstall again.
