The camera calibration

Hello

regarding the Calibration of the camera, I can't change the profile: integrated in another.

Lightroom allows for no change.

Thank you

Tatiana

You can watch an image of type JPG or TIFF file.

Only raw (CR2, NEF etc.) displays a list of profile options. (Standard, landscape, portrait, etc.)

  • Develop the Module / Calibration of the camera OFF camera / EOS 5 d

    Hello.

In my quest for the dng profile for use with my Canon 5 d, I tried to refine profiles by default with the adobe dng profile editor, create profiles customized with a concealer color passport. I've never been happy with the results. Finally finished deactivation of the Calibration set tab "camera". With apparently good results. I have to do now is the brightness and contrast & apply lens corrections.

    What I want to know:

    1. "what exactly happens if I choose to turn off the camera calibration module? How does LR interprets the raw data? »

I get that I have disable the dng profiles.

I also understand that override settings for hue, saturation, and hue.

    But I also wonder:

    2. "is there some sort of curve applied?

    3. "is the (current) 2012 process applied by default?

Nobody seems to think that this switch module is an option.

I would like to know your opinion on this.

Thank you very much and all the best.

If you used the option display not in the rights side Panel Module Development, this does not mean he disabled will continue to use the last selected options.

Select one of the other options available in the menu drop-down select 'profile '. Adobe is the default profile.

  • Calibration of the camera shows that ACR 3.3 and 4.4 in Lightroom 2.5

I can find no recent data on the camera calibration options except that they are out of beta, but I shouldn't be something that ACR 3.3 see / 4.4? I thought he had a list of cameras before.

    I'm using Mac 10.4.11.

    Thank you

    Debra

Profile names are generic for each provider to the camera. So, you won't see anything that specifies a particular camera model (same D2X is generic for all NIkon). The right profile for your D200 or D300 is automatically selected when you select an image in one or the other. Quite simply, you can't take a profile that is not compatible with a specific camera model.

There is nothing more for you to change, add, etc. - everything is ready to go.

  • Mac Mavericks. Camera raw 9.1. Camera Nikon D810. How to set the default settings of the camera profile standard (now available after downloading the camera profile and copy it into the appropriate file)? Is it possible to apply also in the pictures showe

Oops... did not write the question where I... How to set the default settings of the camera profile standard (now available after downloading the camera profile and copy it into the appropriate file)? Is it possible to apply too in images showed in the bridge? I'm a newbie in the forums and I'm not sure how to proceed.

You can right click and copy the settings on an image that has the right profile. Then highlight all the images that you want to edit, right click and paste the settings. On the list that is displayed, simply choose the camera calibration.

Means incorporated, they are jpeg tiff psd etc. Only the raw files of your camera etc. are able to use different profiles.

  • Correction of the lens and the camera in Camera Raw calibration

My copies of Camera Raw for Ps CC and the bridge are fully updated and web support documents say that my Olympus E5 is supported by these applications. When I try to activate profile of auto lens corrections in Camera Raw, I get the warning - "unable to automatically locate the lens profile correspondent." Worse still, the drop of decision-makers does not even include Olympus. All my images include EXIF information and all my lenses are produced current Olympus. I do not understand why none of such large manufacturer lenses are supported by Camera Raw when, an app like DxO Optics Pro has profiles for all my lenses.

Further, there is problem in Camera Raw with 'camera Calibration '. When editing. DNG. TIF and. JPEGs, the camera profile reads correctly 'embedded' for files from Olympus. However, when editing. Files of the ORF the camera profile reads "Adobe Standard" instead of "embedded".

Is there a solution for these problems? I can't find one on the Adobe Web site.

    Richard Sharp

    Not necessarily problems:

    1. Olympus camera photo/lens combinations have been corrected for distortion inside the camera in ACR for raw and jpeg.  In general, no profile outer lens correction is available.

    2. "embedded" means non-premieres loaded in ACR, usually jpeg images.  "Adobe Standard" is the base profile provided by Adobe, all supported raw formats.  Adobe will also seek to provide the matching profiles camera, that is "neutral", "portrait", etc., for the selected cameras.

  • Cane to import a calibration of the camera profile,

    Hello

I did a file .pf3 Canon picture style editor for my eos 6 d.

Rod import profile of calibration of the camera in the develop module.

    Jean-Marc

The short answer is no. a profile of Cannon wouldn't be useful for the Canon, not software Adobe software.

The area of calibration in LR camera for Adobe products .dcp files that can be created from a photograph raw of a calibration target Color Checker using the format DNG Profile Editor, or you can modify an existing profile using the same software.

  • Filter the images of their calibration of the camera?

I started to create my own profile of calibration of camera.

Now, I want to apply to all images that have the profile set to Adobe Standard but not to those where I already changed the profile of the camera.

For this I need to filter all images that have the Standard Adobe along with their profile.

Is there a way to do this in Lightroom?

    Best regards, Ruedi

The filter any plugin allows you to search by camera profile.

You should see as faithful, landscape, neutral, Portrait and Standard I think. Here is a link to an earlier thread about where to get them if you do not for some reason any:

  • A question on the LR3 camera Calibration settings

I re-imported 'old' LR3 LR2.7 Raw images. For images taken with a Canon EOS 20 d camera, the LR3 'caméra Calibration' (Raw) settings is automatically set to "ACR4.4". For Raw Images taken with a Canon EOS 5 d MKII, the LR3 "caméra Calibration" settings is automatically set to 'Adobe Standard '.

Why the difference and this must by default be?

    Franz

The EOS 20 d preceded the new calibration profiles. Thus, all images edited prior to their introduction will be the former ACR X.Y profiles incorporated in default XMP. If you switch to the new profiles of the appearance of the image will change.

The new default value is Adobe Standard

  • Calibration of the camera in ACR and DNG Profile Editor

I'm having the hardest time finding how to use camera generated with DNG Profile Editor in Camera Raw profiles.

I use Photoshop CS4 under Windows 7. I generated the file .dcp with DNG Profile Editor and saved in the folder: Program Files/Adobe/Photoshop CS4/Presets/Camera Profiles.

This is as far as I'm away. I was not able use this profile in ACR camera Calibration tab. I was led to believe it is displayed automatically. I found no video tutorials related to the cab and the installation of camera profiles. They all seem to relate to Lightroom.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Here's what I do:

    1. Open DNG Profile Editor
    2. Open or DNG files with image checker
    3. Define the brands from four corners
    4. Generate the profile
    5. Select the file-> Export
    6. Dcp generated file is saved in C:\Users\m\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CameraRaw\CameraProfiles
