Missing camera Calibration profiles

I used to have a bunch of profiles of Adobe in the Calibration of the camera until I upgraded to LR CC 2015.6. Now, it is only a default option and it says "matrix". How can I get all of these profiles as Standard, neutral, faithful, landscape, etc. back?

I have a Canon EOS 7 d mark ii so that camera profile should be recognized.

Mike

I have this camera and use LR CC 2015.6 and continue to have all the camera profiles expected.

See 'matrix' usually means the profile files, themselves, are missing or inaccessible.

If you're on a PC, you can review it to see if the profile files are still there:

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Lightroom\Resources\CameraProfiles\Camera\Canon EOS 7 d Mark II

To get them back to uninstall and reinstall, first LR CC 2015.0 then updating, both available as a manual download from here:

  • And 5 d MKII Camera Calibration profiles

So far, I have used a Canon 1Ds MKII and took not only her downloaded Canon Camera profiles available in the calibration of the Module Panel develop, but also Adobe Standard, 2.4 ACR and ACR 4.4 profile.  I recently got a Canon 5 d MKII and in Lightroom, I only available on the Canon and Adobe Standard camera profiles.  ACR 2.4 and 4.4 do not seem to be available as an option with the 5 d MKII of RAW files.  I liked having them as they served as rough alternative, starting points.  I wonder what happened to them and how they can be obtained in return as an option for the 5 d MKII.  This happened to someone else?

While I'm at it... are Canon camera profiles I downloaded for the 1Ds MKII, the same as for the 5 d MKII or do I have to download a different... I suspect that they are the same or Lightroom would not offer them to me... is that correct?

    Howard

AFAIK if you are running the latest version of LR all profiles for cameras supported are installed automatically. When you select an image from a camera supported, you will see only the profiles available for this camera. Given that the 5 d MKII is a new camera put in place after Adobe Camera Raw 2.4 and 4.4 there are associated with no profile.

  • Profile of camera Calibration

Is there a place to find a particular camera calibration profile? I shoot RAW and only see Adobe Standard optional. I have a calibration as a starting point for editing in LR. My camera is a Samsung NX20. If it is not a profile, is there a way to create one that simulate what looks like jpeg from my camera?

This is exactly why she can choose among these different profiles. She uses a Canon. Adobe provides profiles corresponding to the camera for Canon and Nikon, and I think there are a few other cameras as well. But I'm not aware of those who. For example, I shoot with the Nikon unit. I have Adobe Standard, landscape, Portrait, Standard, Vivid camera and maybe one or two, I don't remember right off the coast of the hand. I have also two cameras Fuji, and for these cameras the profile only I have is Adobe Standard. This profile is specifically for each of these cameras, but it's the only profile provided by Adobe. And it's the same situation with your camera. If you want to have all these different profiles available, then you will need to purchase a Nikon or Canon camera. The other alternative is to go to Adobe labs and download the DNG profile maker and learn how to use it. You can create all the profiles that you want. I have not had the patience to really get into personally.

  • My profiles of camera under camera calibration (standard, landscape, etc.) are missing since I updated to 5.6. I have a canon 6 d and my computer is a mac. How can I get these back profile?

My camera profiles (standard, landscape, etc.) are missing (under calibration of the camera) as I've updated to 5.6. I have a canon 6 d and my computer is a mac. How can I return this profile?

If you actually see raw files and not JPEGs, then I suggest that you try to reinstall Lightroom 5.6. If you look at the JPEG images then all you will see is "incorporated". I apologize if you already know that.

  • Camera lens profiles

I have several questions about boxes and objectives in LR 2015.6 profiles first 9.6:

    1. on my laptop (Mac OS 10.10.5) I see no profile under "Embedded" in the LR camera calibration Panel. How can I get that back?

    2. under the terms of correction to activate the profile in the LR develop Module, it does not show Sony RX100iii even if it is seems to be listed as being supported by Adobe. Why is this?

    3. a profile is available for Rokinon 12 mm fisheye f/2.8?

    Thank you

    Hi Eric,.

"Embedded" means generally that you change a JPEG image. Camera matching profiles are only for raw files.

The RX100 MKIII has built-in lens corrections. There should be an information icon in the pane of lens Corrections you can click on that will tell you what corrections are applied automatically. But even once, it only works for raw files. This camera JPEG images should already have the corrections applied by the camera, although it may depend on the specific camera settings (I don't remember offhand).

Profile 12mm f/2.8 ED AS NCS Fisheye Rokinon support has been added in ACR 9.4/LR 6.4.

    Kind regards

  • Posterlization/Banding Office of the colors displayed in the camera «D610» profiles

    Greetings,

I have several question of the color of the strips/posterlization the selection of camera calibration tab portrait profile camera LR.

My image is a D610 Nikon SLR RAW file and the color of the strips into shadow shows quite clearly when the zoom to 100%.

Surprisingly, all as Vivid, Neutral, Standard and Lancscape camera profiles are the same color of the strips. So I have no choice except using the Adobe Standard profile which I prefer not to due to my customer's requirement.

However, I also meet this same problem as well in RAW D700 file during post-processing in LR. But the problem can be solved easily by changing just the old profile of the camera to the new V4 version.

I use Lightroom 5.7.1 64-bit Macintosh. Is there anyone facing this problem like me? because most of my photos is photographed by D610 and this problem bothers me a lot.

Any suggestion given to me would be much appreciated.

    Thank you

    Boyd

Here is what I see using the latest plugin cab 9, which was equivalent to the more recent treatment programs 6 LR and LR CC 2015, so a version of the problem still exists.  I'll pass this information and your sample NAVE along Adobe and hopefully they can fix in the next version, but if LR 5 can be fixed, I'm not sure.  Assuming that Adobe releases new profiles for the D610 with the next version of LR and ACR (6.2, 9.3) then you would hack things LR 5.7 installing the DNG Converter 9.3 (or whatever version a better profile) then copy into folder LR resources on top of the older profiles, or at least put in the library user profile location well if old and new profiles have the same name Maybe you couldn't access one you wanted.

  • A question on the LR3 camera Calibration settings

I re-imported 'old' LR3 LR2.7 Raw images. For images taken with a Canon EOS 20 d camera, the LR3 'caméra Calibration' (Raw) settings is automatically set to "ACR4.4". For Raw Images taken with a Canon EOS 5 d MKII, the LR3 "caméra Calibration" settings is automatically set to 'Adobe Standard '.

Why the difference and this must by default be?

    Franz

The EOS 20 d preceded the new calibration profiles. Thus, all images edited prior to their introduction will be the former ACR X.Y profiles incorporated in default XMP. If you switch to the new profiles of the appearance of the image will change.

The new default value is Adobe Standard

  • Missing camera problem - cannot export (share options greyed out)

    I'm under El Capitan 10.11.3

    10.2.3 FCPX

    I7 MacBook retina (2012)

    8 GB RAM

I worked on my calendar, creating several minutes of content.  In the background as well as media files import and transcoding, I noticed that all my stock options were grayed out.  I learned that I stumbled upon import of problems due to the lack of space on my external hard drive as they are for most of the 4K files.  I understand that when you work with 4K you can work, but you must wait until all transcoding of files before exporting a show.

I also made the mistake to rename some of the clips in the bin case after being placed on the timeline (I think this might be part of my problem).

This combination of import to a drive with enough space to allow the final transcoding with name change has created a lot of clips of CAMERA MISSING - so NO the ability to share.

I bought a larger capacity drive and copied all the files in the new storage of 2 TB.

One - I do an import/reimportation of camera/player.  (in some cases if it does not work - I am again an import - then try to link)

I am finally able to exit then restart and see FCPX that my changes TAKE so I think I'm on the right track.  Sharing options are grayed out still, but I think that once all are properly reassociated on the timeline, I should be ok - right?

    Here are my questions:

Why not see problems with my events (no yellow warning sign) everything seems fine - I can change but can not export?  Sharing options are still grayed out?

Then if I stop/restart FCPX - all yellow and Red warnings lack of cameras back.  I thought I solved the problem, but sometimes getting rid of missing camera is a big chore.  I'm on the right track?

Thank you very much for your help!

It is important to allow the import of the whole process independently of the clips - not only 4 K resolution. And part of this process is transcoding if you choose optimize. So I think you're on the right track - you have files with incomplete optimized versions. Suggest that you select your clips in the browser, right-click > transcode media and create optimized media. Open the window of background tasks and monitor if transcoding is started and if it ends.

Post back and let us know whether or not exporters continues to be a problem.

  • DesignJet Z3200: HP Z3200 calibration/profiling issue: Error 58:10 ESP

my old Z3200 5.5 years prints perfectly. I wanted to calibrate/profile of new media, I had bought. but when I started the calibration/profiling of new media, the process fails and made the mistake of digitization that failed after the printing of the calibration sheet.

diagnosis of ESP test failed with error 58:10. I went through all the information which is available on the net about it and did what ever has been proposed: clean the print heads, to rehabilitate the printheads, update to the latest firmware version, etc. all look the same test prints correctly, even if some printheads are no longer under warranty. I also disassembled the machine by following the instructions in the manual maintenance and on different forums on the net and cleaned the unit of ESP. but still the same problem.

then I noticed that my ESP unit looked a little different of substance over all the images available on the net. There is a small mirror inside outside shutter. It seemed a little dirty, so I cleaned it. but always without success. then I thought that maybe it is supposed to be covered and some coating must have fallen. so I put a top band. ESP test succeeded and I was able to profile new media. but after two successful profiling the problem started and I am not able to calibrate/profile of new media.

any help to solve the problem will be very much appreciated.

    Cheers. Sanjay

  • Camera Raw 5.5 does not install?  And button camera calibration issue.

I just built a new computer with 7 PRO and installed all my software. When it comes time to install raw 5.5 it goes in half way through and told me to cut the deck.  As far as I know the bridge window and the program are disabled and not running.  I have same unpined it out of the taskbar.

In CS4 when opening a Raw file and I spend my botton of camera calibration there are only two options that arise, 3.3 and 4.4 Arc. Where are all the other options to?  They come with the 5.5 update?  Thanks Keig

It is not connected to the taskbar icon. Look in the Task Manager under the process and runs, kill him.

Also uncheck the option to load at startup in the preferences.

  • Problem with profiles of camera calibration

I use Lightroom 4.2 under windows with a Canon 450 d for awhile and I use only raw files.

On the 'caméra Calibration' tab, I could choose between acr4.4, Adobe Standard and a few presets for canon (landscape, neutral, etc.)

In my opinion the ACR4.4 profile gives me better and more natural colors most of the time

Last week, I upgraded to a Canon 650 d. When I import my pictures and go to 'develop', I can only choose between the Standard Adobe and canon presets. There is no profile of x.x ACR (replace the 'x' by whatever it takes for a 650 d)

It is not the end of the world, but is it possible to download it?  or did remove it completely for the newer models.

In the window "about adobe photoshop lightroom", it says that I have Camera Raw version 7.3. Reinstall lightroom makes no difference and all my drivers are up to date.

ACR's legacy profile. It no new cameras. It will not disappear for the older cameras, however.

Adobe Standard is Adobe, well, the current standard.

If it is not optimal for your tastes, you can change using the DNG Profile Editor.

  • Missing camera profiles

When I'm in Raw worm 6.3.0.79 and go in the Calibration of the camera, I only get the choice of generic Canon under the camera profile. How can I get the profile for my Canon 50 d in there?

The situation you describe is normal.  As stated earlier, profiles provided by Adobe is not the name of the camera in them when listed in ACR and LR, because they're all at your camera.

You can create your own profiles using DNG Converter from the laboratory Adobe profile and an X-Rite Color Checker or X-Rite Color Checker passport which combines software and corrector of color.  When you create your own profiles you can name them what you please.  You could also decompile the profiles of the Adobe with something like dcpTool and insert your name in these copies.

  • How to remove profiles customized in the section of camera calibration

I installed the software, Xrite ColorChecker Passport and loaded a few profiles custom module development in respect of the calibration of the camera. There was a bug in the software and it me has failed to appoint these profiles. Once I uninstalled this version and loaded the new version of the name process works very well. I would like to be able to delete the profile unname of Lightroom, but I don't see how this is possible. Any suggestions?

    Thank you!
