  I have a test application with a screen containing a button.

  When I click on the button (pressing the button on my BlackBerry 9220 trackpad), it opens a dialog box.

  Then when I press ESC to my BlackBerry 9220, it closes the dialog box and I'm back on my screen.

  Now, if I add to my screen, a menu item, the changes in behavior:

  I'm having a problem with Adobe prelude, version 2015.0, 4.0.0 (Build 138), which is the most recent version at the moment. I use Windows 7 Professional. My problem is this: when I click on "Double click to interfere", I never see ingest the dialog box appear. I have multiple monitors, but I do not see the dialog box on any of these screens and I don't see anywhere on the taskbar. At this point, if I try to click anywhere in the application, it gives me a sound of ding as if the dialog box was opened. Then I have to use the Task Manager to close the application. Restart the PC does not help. I even uninstalled Creative Director Cloud prelude, rebooted, and then reinstalled the application, and the problem persists. I noticed that if I try to ingest video prelude on a different Windows user account, the problem moved, led me to believe that I lived a matter of preferences of the Windows user. The solution was to press Windows key + left or Windows Key + right to restore the location of a window of the application to its default value. Problem solved!

  The Image Size dialog box dialog box shows the uncompressed size.

  Your operating system (Explorer/Finder) shows the size compressed. (size on the disk)

  If you use save for Web, you can see the compressed size, but also an overview.

  Here's what I have right now.  It's a little awkward in the way it works, and I just have a little smoother.

  I have a script at startup which creates a Menu item with a submenu of the menu item drop-down. When you click the submenu item, it runs a script.

  The first thing the script is pop up a message box that tells them that two dialog boxes go to the pop-up window. One by asking them to choose the location of an xml file and the second dialog box that ask them to choose the location of their folder of images.  After you finish choose their folder in the second dialog box, the script takes these two values, makes variable and continues to run the rest of the script.

  Here's what I would...

  1. open a window for dialogue with two input fields, both 'Browse' buttons and OK and CANCEL buttons

  2. When you click Browse next to the first input box for the first button, it will open a file dialog window.  You select your file and the file string will populate the input field

  3. When you click on the second button next to the second entry field, it opens a file dialog window.  You select the file and the string fills the second input field.

  4. When you click OK, it nurtures values in the input to a script fields.

  I already have scripts which opens the dialog for file and folder boxes, but what I can't understand how the is to start and run a script to a button press, in this case, when you press the OK button.  It's probably an onClick, but I was not able to find examples of what would be the syntax.

  Is the closest I found in the beginning ScriptUI document that was on the site of Jongware, in the section on Communication between the windows.  But each window opens with a different scenario and is not using a button to call a script.

  ScriptUI windows and JS file dialog boxes are not communucate. To get a return value in a file dialog box, you would do something like this:

  myFile = file (myFolder) .openDlg ("select files");

  If (myFile = null)

  back, do nothing

  The JavaScript Tools Guide CSx (see the Help menu on the ESTK) documents several dialogues selection of files and folders.

  I'm having a very difficult problem.

  I am attaching a script in a handler for a menu item, by using an installation script menu that I wrote based on one by Marc Autret. My version of the script menu installation attach a bunch of event handlers at the same time, to the actions of different menu.

  What is the event handler, with that I have a problem is to prompt the user for a URL and then applies the URL as a hyperlink to the text selection, with our house style for the way in which the URL should look like.

  The problem is the following:

  1. all other installed menu actions work very well, except for this one.

  2. the addition of URL script works fine, when you run it directly from the script menu.

  3. the combination of #1 and #2 (using the script to add URL by function as an event handler in the Edit menu) blocks to InDesign. But it is only after the addition of URL script has finished and done what it was supposed to do!

  4. when I comment on the section of the script URL adding user input, so that instead of saying

  userInput = myDisplayDialog();
  

  It is said

  userInput = "http://thisworks.com";   // userInput = myDisplayDialog();
  

  It works well as an event handler.

  So obviously a problem with the dialog box, but only when adding URL script is executed as an event handler. My first guess is that this is some kind of memory leak, but I think I am following the model of. destroy() the way I saw it elsewhere.

• How do you download Firefox on a laptop Windows 8? Never RUN the dialog box.

  I have a problem with everything I try to download. After that I click on download, I don't me the dialog box RUN. The computer shows it has downloaded the file, asks if I want to open or save, but does not execute the executable file no matter what I try. I disabled the pop-up blocker, I'm in the administrator account, I don't know what else to try. I searched google for answers and contacted a couple of software support sites, but have not taken place in all of the answer. The last of them suggested that I use Firefox, but I can't download it either.

  I solved my problem by disabling (uncheck) "Enable Protected Mode".
  In Microsoft Explorer / Tools / Internet Options / Security (tab)
  Then restart the Explorer and start your download.
  Once I finally got Firefox downloaded, it worked fine, and I left the using Explorer.

  It is useful for user interface elements that can enqueue actions as quickly as they can be made.

  For example, say it takes takes 1 second to take a picture and save it. The user presses the button "Take a photo", but they do not see a new image file again after a wait of 250 ms (human beings humans can be impatient) so they press twice. Finally, they see a new file image... and then another... and then another... To get rid of this possibility, check this box.

  Or that you have a cursor to adjust some settings. Moving the cursor updates very fast! If the user swipes from 0 to 1 then the program might try to send all the rest as a parameter to your instrument, which takes some time. Instead of sending all of these values, it is probably better if the software can keep up with the cursor and send a value of about 1 at the same time, the cursor said 1.
