  I have a taskflow browse master / detail that called the edict taskflow passing parameters to a router that will either modify it or create method for the detail record (change/create master is in a different position). I can successfully modify/create the main form and I can change/create the detailed form, but I didn't understand how to set the input value for the agency_Id (of the master) in detail. I control data binding to create my detail record 'create', and I have a task flow parameter that has the agency_id I want as the default value in the detail. I don't know where to put the input value. I tried to add another method to the method call that has her 'create' binding for retail, but it seems that I can have only a single method. Do I need another method call to set it? Or should I do something programmatically? (I'm Javaless, so hopefully I can do declaratively).

  I'm looking for a way to programmatically set the visible portion of the front panel, when a Subvi opens.  Did not find all the messages that are related, but I do not know how to ask the right question.  To be clear, I want to write a VI assistance programme through a list of subVIs to ensure that background images are all in the same place when to open their respective subVIs.  I hate to play manually with scroll bars before I save each of the screws...  I'm thinking I need to find the top/left of the background image location (know already do) and then to set a property of the VI FP some offset or these values, but I can't find the corresponding property. FP:run - timeposition:custom looked promising, but only affects the location of the window, and not the area of the front panel displays the window.

  I should have added that the idea of using the background image does NOT change the origin.  Therefore, always be close enough, as your controls and indicators won't move, just the image.

  I personally use the OpenG VI and the open method of front panel, when I am in your situation.

  You already have ways to use the sequence.

  How do you add a new value in the form. You're creating a new line of your page (user interface) and by engaging with validation operation? Unless you commit you will not be able to see anything in the table.

  Use case: I display a VO as an ADF multiple checkbox select. This VO is the detail of a master/detail. I managed to store the selection state in a bean managed on autoSubmit. Then the user navigate to the record of the master, and then goes back to the previous record. The buttons next and previous were created using operations in data controls. I want to back up the State of the selection by clicking previous or next.

  There are a lot of tutorial on how to get the selected values, but none on how to set the selected values. How would you do it?

  I use jdev 11.1.1.6.0 version.

  I used an adf table in which an attribute is selectOnceChoice.

  To create the table and selectOneChoice I used the data control java bean.

  and drag and drop a table and after that I have drag and drop one of the attributes as selectonechoice and linked with the return of the method list as < key, value > pair.

  I want the default value to select only one option in each attribute rows.

  I checked with simillar issue on post next, but not yet resolved.

  where invoiceTo is the table attribute and the invoiceTo attribute is dragged and dropped as a SOC function list Source data mapped data value with the List attribute

  According to the value of invoiceTo line, it should show as default value is selectOneChoice, but its showing no not as a default value.

  I have two selectOneChoice (soc1 and soc2) in two respective pages with the same datacontrol. Now, I need set the default value of soc2 according to the value selected in soc1.

  Try changing the data type of your attribute in the EO to be Double instead of number.

  Sometimes you may have problems if the new minimum is higher than the maximum of old.  Try to write at least again in another node in property after you set the maximum value

  Without seeing your VI and some parameters of the example, (old max and min) new max and min, it is otherwise difficult to say.

  I'm trying to implement a search bar with < af:inputText > and < af:selectOneListbox >.

  When the user selects an item in the listbox control, the inputText will be updated. After hitting the "ENTER" key, the search action will be taken.

  The valueChangeListener will be called when the selection of items in the listbox.

  The problem can be described by the following two cases:

  (1) the user types something in the inputText box and hitting 'ENTER' key for a search. The valueChangeListener is called and sets the value of the string user typed.

  (2) the user selects something in the list box, each time changes the selection in the listbox control, the valueChangeListener will be called. But when the user presses the "ENTER" key, the valueChangeListener is still called, and it sets the return value to the old value. For example, the list has 'a ', ' b', 'c '. The user selects 'a', then 'b '. After hitting the "ENTER" key, the value in the inputText is replaced with "a".

  There is something wrong in your implementation. I do not see an inputText field who's value stored in a variable pageflowscope "word". This field has an attached valuechangelistener which is obsolete, because the field already stores its value in the variable pageflowscope. The same that you are trying to do in the valuechangelistener. So I don't see a selectonelistbox which does not store the value selected anywhere because it doesn't have the value property for it. There isn't an attached valuechangelistener so I wonder how your valuechangelistener is called at all when you change the selectoneListBox.

  I spread an EO, ExtBankAccountsEOImpl, which contains the bank details of a provider.

  When I create a new retail bank, I want to set the default value of some fields (for example the currency)

  According to the nationality of the supplier (all fields are null by default oracle). See below.

  

  Is this possible with EOs? Can the EO extended somehow get their hands on the party_id?

  Or do I have to extend the CO instead?

  Thus, your EO extension works very well, no?

  You need to check the standard code (controller and methods of AM which is called by the CO) and see if the party_id is stored as part of the operation or not. If so, you should be able to get the values in extended OS.

  If this isn't the case, you must extend the CO.

  Note: Changes made by extension EO EO will affect all pages using the OS, if any other page exists.
