Programs are not close properly.

Recently I had a very frustrating problem. Whenever I close one of my programs, it ends. You don't see them on the desktop or anything, but they still run according to the Task Manager and other detection systems.

As you can see above, the program in question (Company of Heroes 2) was closed, but is still running. This happens also for assorted other programs apparently at random. (Even treat the hacker himself, ironically) If I try to put an end to the process in the Task Manager, it does nothing; try to do it on Hacker process returns this:

I'm on my end of beams here. I tried most of the things that I could think of (drivers, MBM, Norton), and some help would be really appreciated!

It could be that the user profile is damaged. Try to create a new user account and set it as an administrator. Test whether the programs will always be the same when you close. Usually create profile would do magic...

    Hello Manu,

    Thanks for the guidelines to help me solve my problem. Just to tell you that no, I have no error messages when I tried to access the office programs and Yes, I made a few changes in the pc... in the registry with Glary Utilities. That was my main concern.

    However, I tried the AUDITOR of FILE SYSTEM (CFS) and it fixed some problems.

    I also watched method 2 and did a performance using MICROSOFT FIX patch and ran that the Microsoft SECURITY SCANNER both have not reported any problems.

    Also tried method 1, no problem in safe MODE. I didn't think it was a third party program... so I decided to do a restore to an earlier date... then the problem seems to have disappeared.

    Start the pc also seems to be much faster.

    Thanks for the suggestions... I'll keep them as reference just in case...

  • Windows Vista starts - Windows error message does not close properly

    Whenever I turn on my computer, I get a message that Windows did not close properly, even though I know that I went through the correct procedure when stopping down.  It started only in the last days.  I did not change my machine or installed / uninstalled something.

    Restore point:

    Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

    Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

    Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:
    Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.
    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.
    When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.
    Link above shows what the process looks like and a manual, it load the repair options.
If your keyboard works properly in Mode without fail, this would imply that some third-party software is causing the problem. If so, check the updates.
