Programs run at startup despite being disabled in Msconfig

I have trouble with a couple of programs that run at startup which I don't want. Box.NET sync is a particular example. To start Msconfig I checked it, but when I reboot, it runs. When I check Msconfig, the input is always off, but there are now several entries for the synchronization of the box. Basically, whenever I have to uncheck, it creates a new section that runs at startup.

I'm having the same problem with GamersFirst and wallpaper app Kuvva. Neither of these are things that I want to run all the time, but none of them have an option in the application is does not run at startup. I don't want to uninstall them.

No doubt there is something in the registry, which makes these programs - is there a simple tool, I can use to stop what is happening? I use Soluto but he says he is unable to prevent them from running at startup.

Check your services, if there is a service, commissioning it may automatically start the program.  These things can be launched in a multitude of places, Autoruns from SysInternals can help you to find these article, be careful with Autoruns, do not turn off the things you don't know!

  • Intel (r) common interface user programs running at startup.

I have a WINDOWS 7 LAPTOP. When I run a performance check, it lists. Programs that run at startup 3 are Intel(r) COMMON USER INTERFACE.  2. check

so they will be deleted from the start. If I remove 2 does make a difference which 2 they are all the same name.

How did I get started 3.

The name can be the same, but you will find that each starts a different program. No doubt

igfxtray.exe - starts the icon in the notification area

Hkcmd.exe - allows quick access keys

    igfxpers.exe - persistence module

They are all connected to the Intel graphics driver. They can be disabled, but you will lose some functionality.

They do not use a lot of resources and are harmless.

I use windows 7. How can I disable a program from running automatically when windows starts? (The program has not the ability to disable execution on startup)

Another question: How can I make a program automatically run at startup?

The basic system for managing startup programs is to run msconfig.

If it is not there then it is bit more complicated but try it 1st

    Hello

Without knowing the programs you want to disable, I'll start by saying that I can't be responsible for adverse effect to the normal operation of your system.

    That said...

    • Click Start
    • Type msconfig and press enter
    • Click on the Startup tab

You will see checkboxes for programs that run at startup.

Or you can use a more comprehensive tool called autoruns...

Each computer has different startup programs - if you if you stop that you need you can turn it back on. See step 5 to turn them off.

    Windows 7 is slow

    (3) make sure that your drivers are up-to-date.

    (D) uncheck the programs that you do not want to start when your computer starts (do not turn off your antivirus).
    (E) click OK, and then restart the computer.

    (6) disable some visual effects in Windows 7
There are a lot of Visual effects that can be disabled safely to speed up Windows 7.

    B. click on "Advanced system settings" in the left pane to open the"System Properties".»
    C. Select the "Advanced" tab from him. Then, under 'Performance', click on 'settings '.

    E. restart the computer.

    (7) open the resolution of Performance problems
    A. open the Troubleshoot utility of performance by clicking on the button start.

    Hello

You can use these to control which startup programs. Many who install it themselves in
Startup is really useless to be here. As Acrobat Reader (Adobe), WinAmp Agent,.
and many other who are responsible for pieces themselves start more quickly (not a question on today)
the machines) and to be sure that they can control the files they support (to make sure you continue
just use). Those who are examples only common and not designed as a slam on those

You can click on start > run > msconfig

In addition, you can check the services through the services tab.
