too many programs running at startup

the computer has infomed me that there are too many programs running at startup. can you please tell me which are not important. Thank you

That's what I said the last time you asked.

Type msconfig in the search on the left. Go to the Startup tab and disable this you
do not use. I disable all. You probably want to keep your Antivirus
etc.

  • Too many programs from Start Up

    Hello

Recently, I ran the 'Performance of difficulty' program in Microsoft Windows 7 Home Edition. A message to say he had too many programs starting, at the start of my computer - DO NOT FIXED.

I am aware of that, but I can't find anything from Microsoft saying that each program is intended. I don't want to disable one where it is a criticism. Can someone tell me please what programs are required to start the computer, so that I can turn off then all others.

Then if I do not clear and I start the computer, and then how to activate? I just click on their icon?

  • too many programs in startup

Im searching on why I have too many startup programs with my PC.  I understand 3rd party programs may start with my startup.  Im going to watch the video on how to determine what I can disable.  I understand that I must load the tool down.   is this tool save for down load?

"Too much of" programs start when your computer starts all first is not really the right way to see things.  What you need to do is to decide what programs you need and that you do not.

If you are concerned about 'slow' start, the usual culprits are programs that perform some sort of scan of your computer--which is what takes the time.  These are programs that you really want to keep, such as your antivirus and Windows Update program.  Some antivirus programs are more effective that others insofar as of the start of the scans are involved.

Many programs can be prevented from boot to start Windows using the menu 'options' of the program and by unchecking an item that says something like "Start Skype" when I start Windows (obviously for Skype).

Another thing to do is to click on the Start button, then all programs, then start.  The contents of the startup folder is shortcuts to programs.  If you don't want a program to start, simply delete the shortcut from the startup folder (this will NOT remove the program, you can always start it either from a computer point or its own entry in the start menu > list all programs).

There are other methods that some programs use to automatically start, and that's why 'startup manager' utilities exist.  Some of them (e.g., Autoruns) should be used with caution, so that you do not disable something that should really be started (even if you don't think to do this).

That your specific question, we have no way of knowing which video that you watch or what tool you are referring.  If you want advice on something like that, please provide the URL (web address) you are watching.

  • Programs run at startup despite being disabled in Msconfig

I have trouble with a couple of programs that run at startup which I don't want. Box.NET sync is a particular example. To start Msconfig I checked it, but when I reboot, it runs. When I check Msconfig, the input is always off, but there are now several entries for the synchronization of the box. Basically, whenever I have to uncheck, it creates a new section that runs at startup.

I'm having the same problem with GamersFirst and wallpaper app Kuvva. Neither of these are things that I want to run all the time, but none of them have an option in the application is does not run at startup. I don't want to uninstall them.

No doubt there is something in the registry, which makes these programs - is there a simple tool, I can use to stop what is happening? I use Soluto but he says he is unable to prevent them from running at startup.

Check your services, if there is a service, commissioning it may automatically start the program.  These things can be launched in a multitude of places, Autoruns from SysInternals can help you to find these article, be careful with Autoruns, do not turn off the things you don't know!

  • Intel (r) common interface user programs running at startup.

I have a WINDOWS 7 LAPTOP. When I run a performance check, it lists. Programs that run at startup 3 are Intel(r) COMMON USER INTERFACE.  2. check

so they will be deleted from the start. If I remove 2 does make a difference which 2 they are all the same name.

How did I get started 3.

The name can be the same, but you will find that each starts a different program. No doubt

igfxtray.exe - starts the icon in the notification area

Hkcmd.exe - allows quick access keys

    igfxpers.exe - persistence module

They are all connected to the Intel graphics driver. They can be disabled, but you will lose some functionality.

They do not use a lot of resources and are harmless.

Honestly - what you need is not something that can quickly be determined when it comes to .NET Frameworks.  You don't have 1.1 and 4.0?

You have a video device driver or software that uses a version or another driver/software that still uses another version and who knows what else that still uses another version.

You are trying to free up some space?  They are going to earn you a lot too.

Are you trying to make the system more efficient?  Their elimination won't give you much what anyone in this respect either - after all - if an application is not used, to just to the top of the disk space and not only that.

What is your ultimate goal?  Maybe someone can help you achieve this.

  • So many programs running on my Toshiba laptop and I don't know what half of them are.

Recently, my laptop was starting slower and slower upward. I do a regular defragmentation and disk cleanup. Thisdoes help with a faster startup.

My HD is split into 2. My main HD is almost full with only 8 GB of free 80 GB I think (sorry not currently home to check)

I have a lot of software on my laptop that I use as dreamweaver, photoshop and other simular programms.

Recently my programms were gel, my internet has been cold and when I go to look at Task Manager processes I see there is so much UN-neccasery running on my laptop. I try to put an end to the process, but it just comes back eventually. I don't know where to find it on my laptop to remove/uninstall properly it and I don't know yet which ones can I delete or keep.

I think that is what slows down very much and if not then he is defo not help anyway.

Oh I also regularly scans to make sure that he is not running slowly due to a any of these viruses, malware and software spies. But I'm only using the free software so I understand that it is not as good as the latest software out there that you can buy.

    Help, please!

You have not enough free space on your drive to victory. Victory requires free space of at least 15% (12 GB in your case) for efficient operation.

What is the size and free space on your second partition?

Looking at the process won't help you unless you know exactly what each process is for, closeing a process unless you know * exactly * what sound for could lead to problems on your laptop.

As a first step, in Internet Options, delete the temporary files, and set the storage space of 50 MB

  • too many processes running in the background 61

How do I remove safely their

The amount of running processes is relative (I have 66 and the system works well). If you experience slow performance and Windows startup time is decent so maybe you should leave them be.
If not, see here to get started. Start by removing software that is not published by Microsoft. You can remove entries wth qttask(QuickTime task), reader_sl (launch Adobe Acrobat speed), AdobeARM, jusched (or anything associated with Java). Let the entries that have the name of the manufacturer of your computer (such as Dell, Lenovo, HP) and the name of the graphics card (ATI, Intel, NVIDIA) in their description fields, name of file or Publisher. It goes the same for antivirus software.

Double-click it to open the folder programs.

For example, I have 3 different apps that I can use to display files of different types: ACDSee, IrfanView, and QuickViewPlus.  Rather than having 3 entrances separated on my list of all programs, I created a folder named viewers of files and records containing shortcuts to the applications in there.
