  I used exactly the same code... except that my region 2 contains a REPORT instead of two text field and region 3 GRAPHICS instead of text field.

  I used the enkitecs method to create tabs.

  Tabs have been created, but the fields were visible inside.

  Will soon be replicating the scenario of apex.oracle.com

  Maybe someone can help.

  I have not found any Oracle Documentation on this, but it's taken APEX oracle supported the region type.

  When I run this page it does not display the column headings in the report. Is there a property to set when we use the folding model?

  There are two options. One is to create a Page process that fires before header or after and sets the value of the element. This method works when the value is independent of the other page elements. If the value is dependent on other page items, you can set all at once in the same process.

  Hi Raoul,.

  I have not tried, but I think you should replace * #APEX_CSS #* because we load default jquery.mobile.1.1.1.min.css and not jquery.mobile.structure - 1.1.1.min.css. jQuery.mobile.1.1.1.min.CSS will overwrite your roll theme CSS settings.

• APEX 5.0 customize a universal theme beyond the roll of theme

  Hi all

  We are just beginning to create new applications in 5 APEX and the universal theme and the theme is a fantastic leap forwards.

  It is a real newbie question . If I want to make a few changes to the appearance beyond what theme roller can achieve, as the positioning of the logo on the right side of the Navigation bar rather than the left, which is the recommended best practice to achieve such a change? Remember I want to preserve the scalability of the universal theme in the future.

  But, if I create a new model and added to the universal theme, what would be the impact when Oracle has released an upgrade to universal theme? Have I reason to say that only subscribed parties of the theme would respectively, while unsubscribed additional templates would not have?

  Your own templates to have no impact when we improve at UT.

  Another question is: can I change model for a model predefined Options without having to make a copy?

• Problem area in the apex oracle 5 switch display

  I am using Oracle Apex 5 and the database Version is 12 c. I have 2 problem

  1.), I used REGION DISPLAY SELECTOR in my reports, I don't set any width of the chart in all reports. If disable display all means property, the graph can be loaded only first chart to be charged the other graph cannot load. If set the width of the graphic to load graphic to all reports. How to solve the problem with the defined width of the chart and hide the show all properties in the region show selector for load regions.

  Note: Remember last selection: report Yes means last selection only loaded or NO means the first report of the tab to be loaded.

  What is happening here is that some plugins must be 'proved' at startup so that they are rendered correctly. It is a problem that is independent of RegionDisplaySelector - it would likely occur if you had a dynamic action to hide/display areas on the beginning of the page as well.

  Please note that this logic may not be necessary, or it must be changed by 5.0.1.

  I have tested using the credentials you patiently provided and confirmed it works in 33940.

  Don't know the version of exact details of Oracle 12 c that you are using, but mysteriously the question when you run apxremov_con.sql is due to know what PDB PDB $ SEEDS is not open in READ ONLY or READ WRITE State.

  With two versions of Oracle 12 c, I used (12.1.0.1.0 & 12.1.0.2.0), the SEED of $ PDB is always open in a READ ONLY State when the database is started.

  You can open your SEED of $ PDB in READ ONLY State.

  IMP QUESTION: You use an apxremov_con.sql of 5 APEX installable script?

  If Yes, then do not use this script. The reason is that APEX 4.2 is already installed in the ROOT of Oracle 12 c CBD database container $. To uninstall, go to the directory of $ORACLE_HOME/apex and use the apxremov_con.sql to this directory.

  Once you have uninstalled APEX 4.2 container root i.e. CBD$ ROOT successfully, you can go ahead and install 5 APEX in the PDB of your choice.

• Update of the elements on the Page regarding filters in Oracle APEX interactive report

  I recently started using interactive reports in my Oracle APEX application. Previously, all pages in the classic application reports. The interactive report in my new page works fine, but now, I would like to add a summary box/table above the interactive report on the same page that displays values added some columns in the interactive report. In other words, if my interactive report displays 3 names of separate Manager, 2 separate offices and 5 different employees, my summary (box) will contain a line and three columns with numbers, 3, 2, and 5, respectively.
  
  So far, I did this job creating the box summed up as a classic report that account of the distinct values for each column in the same table that my interactive report pulls. The problem is when I try to filter my interactive report. Of course, the classic report is not updated based on the interactive report filters, but I don't know how I could link the two so that the classic report meets interactive report filters. From my research, there are ways to refer to the value in the search box of the interactive report using javascript/jquery. If possible, I would like to refer to the value of the filter of the interactive table with javascript or jquery to refresh the summary box whenever a new filter is applied. Does anyone know how to do this?

  Thanks, Patrick! I was always getting some of the old filters for a reason, but I was able to use the tables included in queries to retrieve my ID to report, that I used in the APEX_IR. Function GET_REPORT.

  I created a test web app in apex.oracle.com to try a few things. I created a Flash 2D pie chart in a Web page, and it seems to make very well. But before rendering, I get the error message above, on the region of graph for 1-2 seconds.

  Can anynone tell me what means the error message above and why I'm getting this. I do not use a custom XML part. Has not changed the default settings of the chart area.

  I could see above the error appearing clearly since the apex.oralce.com is so slow... and graphics region takes awhile to load. Otherwise I could not have noticed. It happens in the IE8 and Google chrome.

  Can anyone help please. I'll try to become a test application setup dispalying this awhile earlier error message.

  I used HTML5 graphics in apex 4.2.0.00.27 in my office in my real application workspace. Most of my users still use IE8. HTML5 graphics all appeared well in their IE8 browser. One fine day, some parameters must be changed by my network administrator or soemthing else could have happened. I have no idea. My webapplication HTML5 graphics disappear IE8 users. IE9 users had no problem. I contacted our IT support staff of any changes to security settings that day, or earlier. Absolutely no help from my frustration. I have to change maps of my application (only about 6 of them) to the Flash graphics to overcome this obstacle. This is the story behind why I use Flash cards. If anyone has experienced a similar problem in IE8 HTML5 graphics please shed any light for me... This problem may be nothing to do with the "XMLFile parameter error message', but I'm not sure.

  The new region view selector in 4.0 is nice, but unless I'm missing something there a few critical gaps ergonomics
  
  1. no easy way to specify the style for links of selector for example I can't choose to have buttons instead of only links, I can't have links going horizontally rather than vertically
  2. no easy way to specify which region to display by default when the page runs everything first
  3. no easy way to win the region selected 'sticky' through a page refresh (logical extension of #2)
  
  Yes, we can dig into the source of the page, to see what CSS selectors are used for UL/LI items and Stylize a little differently, but this kind of defeats the purpose of making them available declarative for the novice and I think that that is not always answer the questions above.

  Who will take care of some aspects of your first point at least. For the rest, I'm not aware with the selectors to display area, but they do not seem to offer anything in the way of customization (yet).

• Importing data into Oracle Apex

  I have an obligation to provide a screen to the user where they can import excel data to an existing table and I saw a feature in the workshop of data in Oracle Apex, but I can't use that since I have extra things added into that must. The requirment is mentioned below,
  
  (1) need a screen where the user can select the excel file and start the import of a temporary table without validation
  (2) the data from the temporary table must be visible to the format of form Multi line in the screen and the user must be able to modify the data
  (3) the need for a feature or a screen mapping where the user can map the temporary table to the original table column before you pass data to the original (as data) table
  (4) the data should be transferred in the original table and the respective data should be deleted from the temporary table (in case if an error occurs, error record must appear in a temporary table up to less than the user of the corrected data into the original table)
  (5) need to add different types of validation, update the record in the original record if same id is available or insert a record value, non-zero, etc...
  
  Please suggest me how can I do this in the Apex.

  The treatment is an external table. How to get the source file in the specified location?

  dbms_output.put_linethe instrumentation is unnecessary in an environment of APEX (unless the apex_debug.log_dbms_output method has been called). Use apex_debug API methods instead so that information is available in debug mode.

  There is no reason to use dynamic SQL statements in lines 15-17.

  Creating a column named "NO_OF_BCC (GEO)" is not a good idea and is in conflict with the recommendation of the Oracle do not use identifiers in quotes for the names of database objects. This objects will only cause problems and confusion.

  Lines 20 to 23 are a bug. It doesn't hide where any exception occurred in fact. If there is no specific exception that must be handled in this procedure, it should not contain an exception block.

• Connection to the database to Oracle using Oracle Apex 5.0.1

  Hi all

  Is it possible to connect to the Oracle (Oracle SQL Developer 4.1.1) database using Oracle Apex 5.0.1 instead of using the object browser. As he was more workspace after you have downloaded the data we have on CSV Excel.

  For example: regardless of the tables I've created in the Application Builder is created in the object browser. We have limited the workspace of 500 MB. This is the reason why we cannot use this method to load the data and retrieve it. (Note: can I ask 2 GB of space to work on the approval of the Director, who is still not sufficient)

  Is it possible that I will create an apex.oracle.com application by using the application builder and I will create in the database tables. When I load the file in application, data will be stored in the database Oracle instead of the object browser.

  Well let me know is possible, if yes, how can I proceed.

  If this isn't the case, please let me know how I can get more workspace.

  According to my understanding, other possibilities are: 1) taking backup of old files and free up space, 2) create another workspace and get extra work space.

  When you load data using APEX SQL Workshop utilities for example, the data is stored in your database tables.

  Object browser is just seen tool your schema as the table objects and the data in the tables, just as SQL Developer.

  If you have no good reason to keep these files that you downloaded in the workspace, delete those. Data is stored in database tables.
