  • Chapter Playlists do not completely play when built with Encore CS5 projects DVD double layer

    Friends,

I don't know if this is a problem that is known or not.

SETUP: I created a project in Encore CS5, basically, it's a movie of 2 hours and there are 2 songs in the film. The film consists of 15 chapters. I created a chapter of playlists to listen to the songs. I have three selections of chapter that are configured in the following way.

SONG1 CHAPTER PLAYLIST-> chapter of a song is added to this selection. The actual number of chapter is 2.

SONG2 CHAPTER PLAYLIST-> chapter of the second song is included in this playlist. The actual number of chapter is 10.

CHAPTER PLAYLIST-> SONGS it contains two chapters (Chapter 2 and chapter 10).

All of the above chapter playlists are linke to their respective button in the Menu of songs.

: Project Encore CS5 for a DVD (dual layer)

Menus: I have three menus, main Menu, Menu of songs and Menu chapter.

Timeline: A chronology (MPEG2-DVD encoded thro first Pro CS5).

    Audio: Audio (PCM)

    Subtitle: A SubTitleTrack

QUESTION: In the Preview mode all the chapter playlist play well and return to the Menu of the time songs that they are played completely. But when the project is built, read the DVD, this is the question I.

1 SONG1 CHAPTER PLAYLIST (contains chapter 2 only) works very well, played in full.

2 SONG2 CHAPTER PLAYLIST (contains chapter 10 only) go back to the Menu songs after a few seconds, does not fully play.

    3. all THE CHAPTER PLAYLIST SONGS (contains chapters 2 and 10) play Chapter 2 completely and starts Chapter 10, but returns to the Menu songs after a few seconds (same SONG2 CHAPTER PLAYLIST behavior).

Please let me know where is the problem and can also let me know if you need additional information.

    Thank you and best regards,

    Vinciane

Well, that's a problem with jumps of Encore.Encore layer creates a sordid cell to the place where the layer break is applied which once encountered during playback causes the action to end execution.

To resolve this issue, do one of the following-

Manual layer jump 1) apply exactly to the point of chapter. (I think that currently the automatic layer break is trying to apply the layer break in Chapter 10). To apply the manual layer jump, in the building Board select thenbuild and manual layer jump. A dialog box to select the layer break will appear. In this dialog box, you can specify the time code of Chapter 10 to which layer break must be applied.

    (2) if above does not solve your problem, try applying manual breaking down images before Chapter 10.i.e. If chapter 10 starts 00:49:55:20, are trying to apply the layer pause at the end of Chapter 9 of 00:49:55:10.This way which you will lose only a few frames of Chapter 9, but will be able to playback of the entire DVD.

Let me know if it helps.

    Thank you

  • Yet 5.1 on OS 10.5.8 burn Blu - ray discs, but crashes during the generation of the same project DVD

I spent a few weeks creating a Blu - ray disc double layer with 20 menus and 44 timelines lengths ranging from 18 minutes 9 seconds.

The final product will be a double pack containing the replicated Blu - ray Disc and DVD.

I have pre-transcoded DVD and BD and related assets proper. The Blu - ray Disc built properly and seems to have no problems.

When I try to output in DVD Encore crashes almost immediately. I also tried to record just a DVD image, and it crashes at the same place.

I don't really want to recreate this entire program in DVDSP, but that's my plan.

So I solved the problem by removing all the ac3 and m4v (including the related m2v) records on the SNA timlines replacing the original self-contained reference movies from FCP7. Then, I left still transcode and build from one day to the next, hop in the DVD to work one morning.

Now, I just need to transcode again for the Blu - ray or return to a backup...

  • Create DVD of Vista and Win7

I have hundreds of hours of DVDs created with creation of Windows Vista DVD. When I tried to open the projects on Windows 7, I got the error message that the file was not compatible. I searched the forum for an answer, and the best I've seen is to save all projects in the form of AVI files and redo. • How to create a DVD that contains many videos?

I used the first 13 items to create several projects and then published in the form of video files to watch on your computer. Now, I would like to burn these projects on the same DVD. I saw the video on the subject to make a video with markers, but I would rather my separate videos. It is possible to combine the projects and thus get all the videos on the DVD somehow?

    Ferro1945

First 13 items on what operating system? Have you updated 13 to 13.1 with a project open Help Menu/updates to date?

    For your immediate question...

If you have several video files on want present on DVD disc as DVD VIDEO standard or widescreen on DVD disc, then

    a. you put side to side on timeline Publish + share/disk/disks and DVD with presets of the project = DVD Dolby NTSC or NTSC_Widescreen_Dolby.

    b. If you want your visualizer to be able to navigate through the content of the DVD during his reading with the DVD player, then you work with chronological markers, like judgment at the end of each movie content Timeline markers - you don't put a stopper at the end of the last file on the Timeline.

What you wrote, I think that you have lived it. Therefore, I'm not sure of your intention

I would like to burn these projects on the same DVD. I saw the video on the subject to make a video with markers, but I would rather my separate videos

What follows is what you have in mind?

If you have several projects, each with the content of a film to enter the very end project, then export the content of each project and then import these exports in a new project for the actual burn on a DVD disc. If this is the case, we can speak of project and export settings for each project.

Please review and give more information. For any question or need more information, feel free to ask.

I am at the same time to assess the "cheapest" and without installation / work / DVD problems and possibly send disks Adobe back for a full refund.

My laptop is quite fast and well maintained - other 'big' programs to not have problems running or installation [Stenberg Cubase Pro, Flight Simulator X and so on] only Adobe programs!

    I'm really tired now.

    Concerning

    Mobon

    Hello

All problems are carefully separated - not all together, since I'm a tidy person by default.

It's very simple and not confusing.

I actually have a question with PE7 and PPE7 [which I hope they will have care of] and a series of small teething problems as much in these forums have in first 10 since its installation, because Adobe programs have "basic" problems even loading / reading / convert its own files created.

I looked for problems of Premiere Elements Online [external forum] and I see so many problems and many people opt for alternative programs or get 2 or 3 different programs to get the job done faster and better - which confirms my thoughts.

I'm not here to stir things up [if by chance you think that], but I am trying to use a PAID and SUPPOSED to be a GREAT program and it is clearly not my friend.

But if I get up and treated as a non-in-the-computer-field-person, then I "may need to" move things up with "shows"!

I worked with computers hardware and software since 1975 with the Sir Sinclair Spectrum.

So I do know a thing or two by working 'manually' and without 'easy' mouse clicking [!] and my main job these days is in fact difficulty popular messed up computers, retrieve data, delete data, etc. and I often find programs from Apple or Adobe works does not correctly [being the main problem on slower computers] and users tried to correct and things screwed up!

Is mainly the Apple programs [iTunes is a!] on Windows environment - than a pure mess.

Actually, I keep not ALL Apple programs on ALL my everything-more computers and adding QuickTime flowering - it adds in fact 3 applications ' especially not necessary ' which must be performed in the background only slow down computers "more standard" and "mostly" for no apparent reason but first Elements 10 needs.

Adobe Acrobat Reader is also a kind of an offender in this sense, which I do not use any more in favour of an alternative and very light program that not to invade your computer.

I could talk about what preceded the days...

By the way I don't know 10 first very well and I'm having a few teething problems with "Adobe Premiere Elements 10' do not inferior or anything similar or even get on the side of the forums to be realistic and a human being more than anything.

I am just an intermediate / advanced / professional computer user / repairman [by topic] try to fix this correctly-working program Adobe and get his life back.

You as a public servant know perfectly what I mean, Adobe's many problems with the elements and pro and the clever Marketing and making money tool Adobe has created around him and I understand that you have to keep on the side of Adobe - of course and it is not a problem at all.

THE ONLY PROBLEM WITH THIS THREAD IS OPEN FOR:

Having said that, in the meantime I seems to have solved it me [as I do most of the time], at least for now.

I'm sure many other problems will arise.

    My Solution that worked:

I simply clicked on the time line [down] and then clicked on the main TIMELINE [if I'm not mistaken, it was late at night and I could be wrong - not crucify me please!] and CLIP of MERGE and then I let the program do the work that I bought for.

There are using the Evaluation Version [until I bought 10 first] days I already read that first do not like two large gaps [didn't] or even simple clip cut merged and he got 'charges' problems, but most of them have been resolved by "users" for the most part.

Anyway, that seems to have done the trick, even you it took about 4/5 our to 3 GB! Why?

    My computer is fast.

But I have not checked or burned the files again - so, I have not know100% - do it now, I'll check later in the day.

I think Adobe should prepare a Service Pack with "Loads" of attachment, there is no place to hide and which can convince users the same 'place' and buy the version PRO - the ball is in your court now.

I can't believe the first is having so many small teething problems and I am only a BASIC test and I can see the vast majority of users of programs of elements going literally crazy and we, those more coping Techy.

    Concerning

    M

PS the fact that you see an avalanche of problems with my installation is actually normal.
It's because I'm a 'fast' and computer technician organized which comes into contact with things and I used to do that with all the new programs to get rid of the original possible several small hiccups, which usually other companies set with patches - not Adobe, it seems - at least with Premiere elements.

In recent years are mainly with the Adobe programs. This is the only way to get the "basic" problems program set immediately, so I do not know next time I run it it actually works!

  • Premiere Elements can read the .vob files?

I have a few .vob files I generated from an old VHS tape.  I want to convert mpg, or other media in order to edit and post them on the web.  Premiere Elements can this do?

    Thank you!

MPG files ARE VOB files, dl. All you have to do is change the suffix.

But, Yes, Premiere Elements can change the VOB files, if you use the preset of the project DVD/hard. You can then produce in a variety of formats compatible with the web, including WMVs and MOV.

But if you just want to convert your VOB to MPEG, you do not need to involve the first Elements in the 'conversion '.

  • How can I import documents in an FCP project, using the DVD player connected to a MacBook Pro 10.10.5 Super player?

How can I import documents in an FCP project, using the DVD player connected to a MacBook Pro 10.10.5 Super player?

You need to rip a DVD? Try MPEG Streamclip or brake hand. Both free. Streamclip better, but much more complicated to install and use.

  • Now that my full FCP project, I burned a dvd and everything is fine but I want to download the .mov on YouTube, but cannot determine WHICH of the largest number is the one to download.  Too many files are named "Untitled" and I can't find a post of .mov

Now that my project from FCP 5 minutes video clip is over, even if I am a complete and total novice to the iMac, I nevertheless managed burned a DVD via the file > share the menu option and everything went well, but now I want to download the .mov on YouTube, but is unable to determine to WHICH many files created in this project is the one to download!  It seems that many files are named "Untitled" and I do not seem to know how to find ONE with a .mov extension.

At the top left of my screen of the FCP is the list of "Libraries" that after that I developed all the arrows to point down looks like this:

    Libraries

    Untitled

    Smart collections

    30/06/16

    Age of television

If you haven't guessed, the name of my project is "T.V. Age" and I expected to find somewhere on the computer, a file named, 'T.V. Age.mov' or somethjng like that for me to download on YouTube, but I can't find THE .mov files.  Maybe I don't know how to market the Finder option to display filenames WITH extensions?

I'm hoping that someone with enough time on their hands and understanding in their hearts will take the time to help me locate the .mov that as well as help me correctly name this library Untitled in the zone without good libraries course disrupt the integrity of the completed video-music that is always open on the timeline, even if I don't there anymore since my work with her is over , but the only "CLOSE button" I see is 'close library Untitled' button on the file menu.  I don't see even its end (the *) project button!  The only way I see how close my project is to close the program, but I doubt if it's true.  Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Tony

If you did burn a DVD, then you did burn a DVD, you export any file can be used.  Share > main folder > Audio + video and download that ProRes file resulting.  Or use the built-in YouTube option to upload directly to YouTube.

You don't "close" anything in the part of the timeline, it is useless.  You would simply open a new project or other media type of container, in the part of the timeline.

  • old DVD project to new web file viewable (dvdproj to m4v)

I have files .dvdproj and .iMovieProj, created in 2007.

I want to reformat them for display in a browser.

I know how to use Handbrake to take a .dv file and output as an m4v file, but apparently the hand brake does not have a .dvdproj

    Any advice welcome.

    -Marsha

    Hi, Marsha,

    For dvd.proj files:

Open your dvd.proj and save it on your desktop as a disk image on the file menu.  It will take a while the

rendering to complete.  When is rendered, you will have a disk image icon on your desktop.  Open it by clicking on it.  You will see a window with two files inside.  Open the one named VIDEO_TS.

When you open it, you will see a screen listing several files.  Option-make slide ones with .vob desktop extensions.  This will make the copies on your desktop, leaving the original files where they are.

(Standing for Video object) .vob files are your film.   Handbrake can now deal with these files to be converted.

For your old files imovie.proj: I think that you can simply open the project and file/export to your desktop as a better video quality in Quicktime and Handbrake can manage with this one to convert it.

    I hope this helps.
